About: We brought home our 1st puppy when our eldest daughter was 8 weeks old. Everything since then has been easy! Currently have an 8yr old Golden Retriever with a fenced in backyard. Each of our grown children took in a dog or puppy once they had their own homes. We have had cats, hamsters, fish, and guinea pigs over the years. I'm recently semi-retired and my daughters have used Rover for their dogs in far away states. I thought it would be a nice way to give our dog a playmate every once in a while. We have a large fenced in yard which your dog can run around or hangout with our dog if they'd like. Our house is split level so there could be 6 stairs at time to go up & down. I love to walk our dog & listen to books or podcasts.

She's slow to warm up to new people, but surprisingly, she immediately took to LaToya! This literally has never happened, so I knew right away that it was a match made in heaven! LaToya was incredibly responsive, shared pics daily and provided updates about our little one's adjustment process and her week. Leaving our dog with LaToya felt like leaving her with family. About: I have grown up with pets since I was a baby. I have always had large dogs, such as rottweilers and pitbulls, and as an adult I have owned small dogs and cats as I live in an apartment. My sister is a vet technician, so I have some secondhand knowledge on medical care for animals of all types. I am currently unemployed so I am available any time, any day for care. I have my own transportation so traveling to your home for your pet is no problem at all. I always make sure any animals I adopt get along and have no tension before I leave them alone. If I feel any animals cannot be left unsupervised, I keep them in a secure location, such as a large kennel or a room with a closed door whenever I need to leave. I always make sure to monitor their eating habits and adjust their diets accordingly. I never feed my animals anything I do not research thoroughly beforehand to ensure they are getting the best quality food possible.

I grew up with Border Collies and have also adopted several dogs over the years, so I'm comfortable with everything from high-energy working breeds to laid-back companions. I've also volunteered at several shelters, giving me experience with dogs of different ages, sizes, temperaments, and backgrounds. We have a fenced-in yard and a walking path near our home so walks are never a problem (we love walks). I have owned an American Bully and English Bulldog on my own and have had multiple family dogs growing up. About: While we are new to Rover, we are certainly no strangers to the world caring for pets. We are a husband & wife team with a combined total of over 50 years of animal care experience. When I moved out, I helped my parents take care of him until he passed a few years ago from arthritis in his hips. Since I moved out, I adopted two cats from the shelter. So, I found Beth. She took on the big adventure of picking up my puppy for me, holding her overnight, sending me a ton of pictures, and then meeting me at the airport to give her to me. I takes a enormous amount of trust for a task like this, and Beth was AMAZING. I could not recommend Beth more!! You can rest assured that your pets will be in the best care possible with Beth. If I lived closer, I would definitely use her services again!”

About: We brought home our 1st puppy when our eldest daughter was 8 weeks old. Everything since then has been easy! Currently have an 8yr old Golden Retriever with a fenced in backyard. Each of our grown children took in a dog or puppy once they had their own homes. We have had cats, hamsters, fish, and guinea pigs over the years. I'm recently semi-retired and my daughters have used Rover for their dogs in far away states. I thought it would be a nice way to give our dog a playmate every once in a while. We have a large fenced in yard which your dog can run around or hangout with our dog if they'd like. Our house is split level so there could be 6 stairs at time to go up & down. I love to walk our dog & listen to books or podcasts.

About: I have taken care of dogs, my whole life whether they were my own or somebody else’s I absolutely love animals your animal will always be safe in my care and have the best time. I’m currently a stay at home mom so if I leave the house, I only leave to go to the grocery store or to grab the little one something to eat if they want it I have a huge backyard my house backs up against the woods. We are not close to the road at all. You’re dog would never be let outside alone my kids would run around in the backyard with them 💕

About: Absolutely love animals! My neighbors and friends relied on me to take care of their animals. I also have my own animal and definitely want more! I’m currently a student at UD but basically have a part time schedule (tuesdays and thursdays) so most of my days are very flexible for taking care of your animal! I have a spacious place and a cat to keep your animal socialized. He is very friendly and likes to play and cuddle up all the time.
