“Barbara is so great with animals and does a great job making them feel at home. Our dog had a great time and enjoyed her visit with the family. I loved all the photos to see how our dog was doing throughout the day. Wonderful job!”

“Candice is an awesome person! She gave my fur buddy so much attention and care that I was concerned that he might have wanted to stay with her instead of coming home with us. She continuously sent us updates and photos. We could see he was enjoying his stay with her. Seeing how happy he looked made our vacation more enjoyable not having to worry about how he was doing. Thank you so very much Candice. Looking forward to our next trip and Kekoa’s next stay. Be sure to book early so she has room for your pet!!!”

“Mark and Kayleigh were amazing, start to finish, while watching our sweet pup. They both clearly know and love dogs, their house and yard and wonderful and safe for pets. Can’t recommend them enough! Our Shiloh will absolutely be staying with them again on our next trip.”

“We are new to the area and we’ve always had friends or family watch our pups. This was the first time we needed to use Rover. Nancy gave us a great first experience and I’m so glad we have someone we can trust to leave our pups with if we ever need to board again! She asked great questions to get to know our pups before us dropping them off and she kept us up to date everyday with plenty of pics and videos. Nancy was very responsive as well. We will certainly be reaching out to her for future needs. Thanks again Nancy!”

“Grace was an excellent choice!! This was my first Rover experience & I was very impressed. She was flexible (we needed to extend the booking) & willing to do whatever it took. I have one shy cat who refused to come upstairs for meals, so she walked his food down to the basement. Her write-ups were super thorough & she took lots of pix. She really cared about both my beasts. I'm booking her again in October.”

“Jenna did an amazing job taking care of our cat Miss Chloe while we were out of town for an extended time! Chloe got plenty of attention in her drop-in visits, and Jenna made sure she was in a clean home, fed, and given her medicine. We received daily updates with plenty of pictures. Thank you!”

About: Hello cat parents! I’m a Penn State Animal Science student with years of experience caring for both small and large animals and a lifelong love for cats! I share my home with 3 cats of my own, so I truly understand the care, patience, and attention our feline friends deserve. I’m confident handling cats of all temperaments from shy or senior kitties to playful kittens and spicy personalities. My animal science background includes hands-on experience with feline behavior, health monitoring, and basic veterinary care. I’m skilled at administering oral medications, eye drops, and topical treatments, as well as caring for senior cats and those with special dietary or medical needs. Whether your cat wants playtime, quiet companionship, or just someone to keep their litter box fresh and food bowl full, I’ve got you covered!

About: I've grown up living with cats my entire life. I love interacting with them, cuddling, petting and playing! I have experience raising kittens and can feed and change litter boxes as needed, along with regular wellness checks or enrichment.

“River did an amazing job with our cat Jonny! She was super flexible, and even added a few extra days to his care upon request! Jonny loved hanging out with her during their visits as well!”

“Ashley is the best! My cats were a disaster with my previous catsitter, so I made sure they got to know Ashley before I went on vacation. She was patient and calm and obviously really cares about their welfare. She went above and beyond to make sure our vacation went well for all of us. Thanks, Ashley!!”

“Kelsie went above and beyond. In addition to following my instructions, showed up like clockwork, sent lots of photos, and when I returned home my cats were like "Oh, it's you." I couldn't have asked for more.”

About: I had cats growing up, but I’d say my real journey as a cat person began 4 years ago when I adopted my tuxedo cat, Tyson. He was 3 years old when we adopted him, but he adjusted quickly! I like to make sure everything is up to his standards like the litter box, his food bowls, and his mug he likes to drink out of instead of the water bowl I got him. 2 years ago, we adopted our “gray guy”, Miso, as a kitten. He’s a bundle of energy and is always playing. Quite a difference from his older brother! To this day Miso’s still a bundle of energy and we try to play with him every day. I also try to find new ways to stimulate them. I’m currently trying a new puzzle feeder! I might be rambling on, I could talk about my boys all day, but I want to communicate to you that I love cats and I’ll be happy to care for yours!

“Brice did a fantastic job taking care of our Hazel! She was prompt. Made sure she was fully taken care of. Was very thorough with photos and reviews and overall we had a great experience. We would definitely book again!”

About: When I was a child we had three family cats. We also had a pregnant cat that showed up that we took in and cared for the babies. I now have a 1 year old Sphynx. He thinks he's one of the dogs. He's silly full of energy but mostly full of love. With having pets of my own I can provide any services that you require ( medication, clean litter box) etc .
“Caitlin is the absolute best cat sitter! We have used her services multiple times now and will continue to ask her to take care of our cats when we go out of town. I feel so much better going on vacation knowing that my cats are safe and well cared for. Thank you so much Caitlin! We are so lucky to have you as our cat sitter!”

“This was my first experience with Rover and Violeta set the bar very high. My cat has a lot of needs and Violeta did a great job meeting those needs and keeping me informed while I was away.”
“Yvonne is a very good pet sitter. While I was away for a weekend I just needed drop in visits for my cat. Yvonne followed all instructions for feeding and other care for my cat. During my time away I had peace of mind knowing that my cat was being cared for. I loved how Yvonne updated me throughout her drop in visits which included pictures of my pet. I will certainly be a return client for Yvonne she is an excellent pet sitter!”

“Tracey is great and our kitties were so happy! She was pleasant to work with, trustworthy and very thorough. Daisy especially loved all of the hairbrushing time! We are very thankful to have someone we can trust with our babies and will definitely ask Tracey to come back for more visits with Daisy and Rose!”

About: I’ve been caring for and loving cats since I was 18. I started by taking care of a small group of feral cats living in my shed. Over time, that colony grew, and I naturally became more involved in their care—eventually socializing kittens, helping them adjust to human contact, and bringing several into my home when needed. Since then, cats have been a consistent and important part of my life. At various points, I’ve cared for up to four cats at once in my own home, so I’m very comfortable managing multiple personalities, routines, and needs at the same time. I understand how different each cat can be—some are social and playful, others are shy or independent—and I always adjust my approach to match their temperament and comfort level. I currently have two cats of my own, so I’m actively experienced in day-to-day cat care, including feeding routines, litter box maintenance, enrichment, play, and recognizing changes in behavior or health. In addition to caring for my own pets, I have frequently looked after friends’ cats while they were away, making sure they were safe, comfortable, and well cared for in their familiar environment. I genuinely enjoy building trust with cats at their own pace and making sure they feel secure, whether they are outgoing or more reserved. My goal is always to provide attentive, reliable care so pet parents can feel completely at ease while they’re away.

About: I’ve been caring for cats for years and have cats of my own, so I truly understand their personalities and needs. I’m experienced with feeding, litter box cleaning, playtime, and giving cats patience, affection, and a calm, safe environment.

“Justin and Stephanie were amazing with Charlie. From the moment I met Justin I knew I had nothing to worry about! I received many pictures and plenty of updates even though he was only there for one day. Communication was excellent and thorough. I really appreciated how kind and considerate they were of my highly anxious sensitive pup and took great care to make him comfortable! Thanks again!”

“Sunaina was great with Loki! He had such a great time with her and her family. She sent us many pictures and updates periodically of him during his time with them. She listened to our instructions on his allergies and food timing, and took him out for walks. We were super happy that he was happy! Definitely will book again when we are back in the area!”

About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I grew up with Border Collies and have also adopted several dogs over the years, so I'm comfortable with everything from high-energy working breeds to laid-back companions. I've also volunteered at several shelters, giving me experience with dogs of different ages, sizes, temperaments, and backgrounds. I work from home (as does my wife) so your pet will be getting consistent, attentive care. To be honest, our dog passed away last fall and we are missing the joy of being dog owners and having dogs around, but we need something a little more flexible for the time being. You are getting two sitters for the price of one and we will care for your dog as if they were our own :) As a former dog parent who has used Rover, my goal is to provide exactly what I was looking for each time I booked a walker/sitter: clear communication, limited hassle, and all of the assurances that you can rest easy and not worry...your doggo is in good hands! I work from home and call my own hours (as does my wife) so as long as we know your dog's routine we will make sure to incorporate it into our own. We have a fenced-in yard and a walking path near our home so walks are never a problem (we love walks). My wife and I both work from home so one of us will always be giving your dog attention/supervision. We have previously owned dogs who were flight risks so we have been conditioned to keep an eye out, keep doors closed, etc. We have a big fenced-in yard and have a little indoor gate/fence that we use in the house if need be to secure a hallway, etc.
“Latoya cared for my Benny as if he was her own. She give him his medication and ensure it was taken at each meal. Latoya is very professional and reliable. Thank you for taking such great care of my furbaby. I highly recommend Latoya and I'm confident you will not be disappointed!!!!”
About: I’ve been dog sitting since I was young and have always loved caring for animals. Family, friends, and neighbors have trusted me to feed, walk, play with, and care for their furry family members over the years. Now that I have a mini Goldendoodle of my own, I’m always excited to welcome more pups to love and care for! My dog would love some new friends to play with, and your furry companion will always be safe, well cared for, and treated like family in our home. I’d also like to mention I have 2 cats and they are friendly and do their own thing. My schedule is flexible and I can work from home most of the time! That being said, your furry friend will get a lot of attention. I usually try and go for a walk in the morning and around lunch time. I have a yard; however, it is not fenced. I live toward the end of a quiet neighborhood and always keep a close eye on any dogs in my care. I spend a lot of time outside playing and going on walks, so your pup will get plenty of exercise, attention, and companionship. My 3-year-old dog is friendly, playful, and also enjoys relaxing, so your furry friend will have a balanced and comfortable stay.

About: I been taking care of dogs for many years. Love taking them on walks/runs. Love seen them run around in the backyard with my own dog. I work 8 hour days but I take them out for walks before I leave and when I come home we ether go outback and play or walk/run. The care a provided is a loving environment. And playful one. I make sure they have thier food on time and plenty of water for after walks and runs.
“Claudia is great with my little fur baby! She spends extra time with him and is very gentle with him. I can tell that he enjoys her company. I can tell that she is well educated when it comes to dealing with animals and has even taken the time to teach me some tricks and tips as I am a first time dog owner with crazy long hours at work. I will definitely be using her services frequently.”

Because your dog deserves more than a place to stay they deserve a second home. I am a stay at home mom my attention is on kids and animals I only go out if I have to and it’s never a long time I have a fenced in yard and 2 friendly dogs (small dogs ) to keep your fur baby company. About: I’ve have been a dog owner all throughout my life. I currently have a golden retriever that is three year old named Steve. I know level 1 and level 2 dog training techniques. And enjoy taking dogs for long walks to get their energy out. I live five minutes from my job and can come home if needed and never work weekends. My wife works from home 3 out of 5 week days. “Nancy was fabulous with our dog! She was dependable and respectful. Our dog enjoyed her time with Nancy so much that she was upset when she left. I would gladly book her services again!”

“Maggie is phenomenal. She communicates thoroughly on scheduling and the Rover cards. Her care for my dog is also clearly evident in the pictures and report. There are few people I fully trust with my girl, but she is very easily one of them! I’m so grateful to have found her. 10/10 recommend.”

“Destiny is a great communicator and has been so patient with my dog Lulu. Lulu is very slow to warm up to new people so it took time. Now, they have a great routine, and Lulu loves her walks with Destiny! And I know Lulu is in good hands!”

About: I have been raised with animals my entire life and I want to share that passion with others. I volunteer at a local shelter and have experience with different dog breeds and personalities. It is important to not only care for animals, but to love them and provide them enrichment. I enjoy cuddles, walks, play time and sharing company with all animals. I am currently a college student so I have a fluctuating but flexible schedule. Flexibility allows me to do what is necessary to care for pets and loved ones. I live with animals currently so pet care is already an everyday part of my regular routine. I believe in safety first. Leashes and harnesses must be available for animal and walker safety. I can adjust my care routines to any needs that are communicated to me and would love to play and spend quality time during my wellness visits.

“Paul and his fiancée do a great job with my Husky. My dog normally doesn’t enjoy other humans, and he loses his appetite when I travel. But Paul’s energy didn’t bring any of those concerns out.”

“Jenni had contacted me to let me know that she was on her way for our dogs’ walk. She took pics of them to show us that she was at our home with the dogs. I had told her about the route the dogs were use to taking and she showed us the map of the route. The dogs were good for her out on the walk. When they got home they were well tired enough and curled up for a nap. I look forward to having Jenni come walk them again!”

About: I grew up taking care of our Newfoundland from a puppy. I was his primary caretaker for brushing him, walking him, and feeding him. When I moved out, I helped my parents take care of him until he passed a few years ago from arthritis in his hips. Since I moved out, I adopted two cats from the shelter. I recognize that our animals are part of our families. I follow directions and schedules well, and will strive to provide the best care for your furry family members. I work 7am-3:30pm Mondays through Fridays, so I’m primarily available in the evenings during weekdays. I’m fully available on weekends for pet care. I also have most/federal holidays off, so I will be able to work long weekends. I will use whatever supplies that you have and your pet prefers. I will not bring anything else without your permission. I will make sure to follow directions and schedules as closely as possible, and keep you informed of how your pet is doing.
About: I’ve always had a soft spot for senior dogs and pets that need a little extra patience, attention, or understanding. I’ve participated in shelter skip days at the SPCA, and I’m almost always drawn to the older dogs. That’s just where my heart is. I genuinely enjoy taking things at their pace, helping them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’m also a huge cat person. Whether your cat is social and playful or more reserved and independent, I’m happy to meet them where they are and make sure they feel relaxed while you’re away. I understand that every pet has a different personality, routine, and comfort level. I know how important trust is when someone is caring for your pets, and I try to be the kind of sitter I’d want for my own animals, responsive, dependable, calm, and genuinely caring. Whether it’s walks, drop-ins, medication routines, companionship, or just giving your pet some extra love and attention, I’m happy to help. Pet care is the perfect fit for my current life schedule. I took early retirement from my day job just so I could provide pet services. It’s way less stressful and more rewarding. I can provide overnight care for a dog in my home as well as provide drip in visits and walks. I can do extended drop in visits for cats so they have a chance to get to know me.

About: Hi everyone! My name's Shirl and I am hoping to make your life a bit easier by taking away the stress of leaving your pup behind while you're away. I have been pet sitting for over 12 years; I used to have dogs come board with me while owners went away, but I've found that most owners prefer their pets to stay in the comfort of their own home. I have years of experience doing overnight pet sitting, but unfortunately my growing family (3 dogs and a cat of my own) no longer allows for me to stay away from home overnight. I am happy to provide multiple daily visits and/or walks! My goal is to keep your pet as comfortable as possible while you're away, by keeping their daily routine as close to "normal" as possible. I've cared for all types of pets including dogs, cats, bunnies, chicks, quail, lizards, fish, etc.! I am an experienced dog handler/ animal lover at heart. I worked at/managed a doggie day care/boarding facility for 4 years, learning from a very experienced trainer who focuses on positive reinforcement techniques ONLY. During my time there, I had opportunities to complete trainings to understand dog behaviors and body language. I have volunteered at BARCS as a dog walker/foster, working primarily with bully breeds. Why I love dog sitting I have been an animal lover my entire life. From playing with salamanders as a kid, to growing up with cats and dogs of all shapes and sizes; I've also had bunnies, fish, frogs, hermit crabs, hamsters, birds...the list goes on! I couldn't imagine a life without animals in it. My experience administering medication Yes. Working at a dog boarding facility for nearly 2 years I have had to give many forms of medications, and my personal pets also take oral medications. I am not trained to give injections. My full time job allows me to work from home majority of the week. That makes it easy for me to swing by for a visit at different times of the day. The latest drop in I can provide is 7pm. I am happy to provide updates as soon as I arrive, during the stay, and as I leave. For dog walks, I prefer not to introduce any dog that I’m handling to another dog passing by. This ensures everyone’s safety.
About: Extremely flexible! I'm experienced in taking care of cats, dogs, turtles, bearded dragons, and fish. I would love to give your furbaby the best care possible! The cats & dogs are separated. I am very patient with animals! I am also extremely diligent with their care such as cleaning food/water bowls, scooping poop, changing pee pads, following feeding/medication schedule, and playing with animals.
“We take Ben, our yellow lab, with us everywhere. He has not left my side since he was a puppy. Tracey is the first person we trusted to take care of Ben. Although I was extremely anxious about leaving Ben, from the moment I met Tracey, I knew he was in great hands and with someone who really cares for animals and understands how much we love our companions. She was very calm and patient with "very joyful-high energy" Ben:) Tracey is dependable and really followed through with the care plans we discussed. Her communication while we were away, was very reassuring and the photos she sent really brightened our day! Thank you Tracey! Ben looks forward to seeing you again soon!”

“Veruchka has been fantastic with Holly! She was so pleasant and flexible when it came for the meet and greet and was readily available to come over to take care of our pup. She has been a joy and I love all the pictures she takes!”

About: I have the empathy and patience for even the shyest of animals. Respecting a pet’s boundaries is key to success. I love the satisfaction of gaining trust and building bonds! I’m a hybrid/remote employee with flexible work hours. In general, I have pretty open availability for providing the services you need for your furry friend(s)! In the past, I have owned cats and snakes. I kept them strictly indoors to ensure they were in a safe environment. In your home, I will follow all safety protocols to properly take care of your pet(s).

She went above and beyond to not only make sure our puppy was enjoying himself, but to make sure our minds were at ease during our vacation. 10/10, recommend ☺️”

“We left our tiny little shih tzu puppy with Bethany and her pitbull, Star, for the weekend. The two not only got along great, but I understand Pookie harassed Star at length and got nothing but cuddles and patience in return. Bethany was very nice and made everything easy for us. She returned our messages promptly and made us feel at ease while we were away. Next time we need a sitter, Bethany will be our first call. ”

“We love Karen! Bruno always has a great time staying with her, we use Karen’s services for him every time we go away. This time around she trimmed his nails for me which I am very very grateful for. Thanks Karen!!”

“Rackeem came in clutch when we needed a last-minute sitter for our little girl Piper over the Thanksgiving holiday! He took great care of her at his home, sent plenty of photos and updates daily, and was super flexible when it came to drop-off and pickup days and times. 10/10 would absolutely leave our little girl with him again!”

“Great communication. Sent us plenty if pictures of our puppy! We felt comfortable with her supervision. We also booked last minute and she was very accommodating. Thank you!”

“This was our first time boarding our dog, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Chyann was incredibly sweet, attentive, and caring, and it was clear from the start that she genuinely loves animals. She provided regular updates, photos, and messages, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Our dog was well cared for, comfortable, and happy throughout the stay. She has a natural way with animals and made the entire experience stress-free for both us and our pup. We would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a safe, trustworthy, and loving environment for their dog.”

“The fact that Courtney is a vet was one of the reasons I reached out to see if she was able to watch Sunny for a weekend while I was out of town due to how anxious she can get. Let me tell you, she did not disappoint. During the meet and greet, she asked about emergency vet info and offered her office as an option for urgent but non-emergency situations since I don’t have a primary emergency vet. She was aware of Sunny’s needs while she was there. Courtney also kept great communication and sent lots of videos and pics during her stay. I would 10/10 recommend her and will definitely be booking services with her again when the time comes!”
