About: I've had dogs for over 25 years and most recently I'm caring for a dog with a seizure disorder. Everything from young energetic puppies to elderly dogs. I have worked with an organization called Missing Pet Partnership (an organization started by a police officer who trained scent detection dogs). I was trained to find lost pets and the psychology of dogs and cats including training in pet first aid and CPR. My previous career was as a special education teacher. I now work full-time from home. “Cynthia was great with my 1 1/2 year old Sheltie. She allowed us to meet her and her pup a couple of weeks before our vacation, to make sure we all were comfortable with each other. Drop off day was hard for us since our Sheltie is only 1.5 year’s old and a rescue, we didn’t want to stress her out too much. Cynthia has lots of experience with rescues and was quick to pick up on her needs. During the vacation she sent us many videos and pictures, which helped a great deal. About: I have a consistent morning walk routine and welcome yours joining me. Our dogs are great hosts who respect our guests. I have fostered for years, from bottle babies to seniors, so have lots of experience with new dogs and short term visitors. I am primarily working from home and can keep your dog company. On days when I do have to go to the office, your dog will be alone (with our dogs) for only 4-6 hours. I know a tired dog is a good dog, so some exercise and playtime are built into our mornings and afternoons. We have two dogs - a 9 year old (DOB Jul 2017) 10 pounder and a 7 month old (DOB Dec 2025) golden retriever. I have a fenced in yard with plenty of safe space to run. We have several crates here if needed or preferred.

About: I’ve have been a dog owner all throughout my life. I currently have a golden retriever that is three year old named Steve. I know level 1 and level 2 dog training techniques. About: I own It takes a village animal rescue, though I am taking a 2 year break, I have had 451 dogs come through my rescue in the last 10 years. I can help with house training, and basic puppy skills. I have probably had about 100 plus puppies in the last 10 years. Having my own dogs, I have gone through the process of training two different types of temperaments and am looking forward to engaging/learning about more! I currently work from home as an accountant M-F. I have the flexibility to leave and return as needed. I could take my laptop if I needed to be around for an extended amount of time. Otherwise, I have the ability to use my flexibility to be present. I have an open living room setup and an English bulldog of my own to keep them company as well. We go on multiple walks a day and I make sure to try and exert the energy of whatever dog I am with at the time (so they don’t have much time to miss their parents 😂). I have room to crate the dogs if needed and also a pet camera that helps with monitoring.

I also keep their living area clean, administer medications if needed and instructed, and make sure they feel safe and relaxed while their family is away. About: I have grown up around dogs my entire life, big and small! I’ve bathed, feed, played with, and let dogs outside! Cuddles are a must! I attend Western Kentucky University but am home for the summer. I currently work part time at Brusters Ice Cream! About: I have always had pets. As a toddler my dog and I would explore the woods together. I have had pet birds, fish, hamsters, turtles, spiders, frogs, lizards, rabbits, horses, turkeys, chickens, cats and dogs. I also have experience caring for cows and sheep. I have used clicker training in the past. I usually use reward based training. I occasionally seperate dogs, so they might not play together unless they are from the same household. I have rooms set up as individual dog suites. I have lots of cozy blankets and toys for dogs to feel comfortable. Dogs will still roam and play throughout the house. Dogs will get lots of individual attention. Dogs usually make friends and enjoy playing together. There are lots of toys beds and blankets for them to get cozy and have fun. I have a large unfenced yard (will be fully fenced in October. Currently only one side is fenced.) that backs to woods with a creek and a park. Dogs will be leashed outside. I can take more than one dog and for extended stays. Dogs should bring their own food and potty training pads if they use them. I send lots of pictures of your dogs during their stay. I can send videos and have done live chat videos, so you can see and talk to your dog. Dogs will be taken outside regularly. Dogs will go outside in all weather at least 2 times during the day. Dogs also will have ample play time indoors with running, chasing, fetching or jumping. Dogs can play ball or nap. I take dogs running at the park. Each dog will be cared for according to his personality. Dogs get alot of individual attention. I make sure dogs are comfortable throughout the day and i play with them and incorporate them into my day as much as possible. My 2.5 year old son and husband also play with the dogs. They help train, feed and care for dogs too. They also run with dogs and take them to the park or dog park. Dogs may go to the store with us or on errands or on an outing. Dogs may sleep in our bed with us. Dogs may join in for Disney songs and dancing. Dogs may make new friends and bond. I only care for a few dogs at any given time. I can care for dogs weekly and monthly. I can cater to dogs special or individual needs. Drop off pick up is between 6am to 7am or 7pm to 8pm weekdays and anytime weekends. More About Me: I started pet care professionally more than 20 years ago, when i was studying nursing. I was in college and nursing school full time, working at a healthcare facility full time, doing home care and pet care. I received both of my undergraduate degrees in legal studies. I started 2 master's degree programs one in law and one in business. I plan to continue doctorate studies in psychology. My main interest is behavior. About: I've had dogs for over 25 years and most recently I'm caring for a dog with a seizure disorder. Everything from young energetic puppies to elderly dogs. I have worked with an organization called Missing Pet Partnership (an organization started by a police officer who trained scent detection dogs). I was trained to find lost pets and the psychology of dogs and cats including training in pet first aid and CPR. My previous career was as a special education teacher. I now work full-time from home. I can crate your dog if needed based on your preference and socialization with my dogs is entirely up to you. My home has separate areas to accommodate a variety of situations including multi pet homes that crate and rotate dogs, dogs with medical needs who need to be in separate areas, etc. For overnight stays I will tailor your dogs experience to ensure it is a home away from home.
“Cynthia was great with my 1 1/2 year old Sheltie. She allowed us to meet her and her pup a couple of weeks before our vacation, to make sure we all were comfortable with each other. Drop off day was hard for us since our Sheltie is only 1.5 year’s old and a rescue, we didn’t want to stress her out too much. Cynthia has lots of experience with rescues and was quick to pick up on her needs. During the vacation she sent us many videos and pictures, which helped a great deal. About: Ive had cats and dogs since a very young age I currently have 4 dogs and three cats. I have many years of experience and love them all! I am currently a student at University of Delaware and I thought maybe this job would work for my class schedule. I have a lot of free time outside of class. I have 3 cats, a boarder collie, australian shepherd, and a west highland terrier. They are all very good animals most of my animals live at home except for one of my cats that lives with me at school, but I’ve taken care of all these animals from almost all my life.
