“Nathalya was wonderful! She was super sweet with the dogs and had a lot of patience with them since they tend to go on hunger strikes while we’re gone! She communicated well and sent us a lot of wonderful pictures!”

“Thank you Samantha, for getting to know our three dogs and stay with them over the Christmas Holiday. We greatly appreciate your professionalism, and also the love you showed our furred family. Thank you.”

“Darrius did a great job with our pups. One is very prickly and needs medicine. He did a great job of making sure she took her medication which is our main concern. He also let our bigger dog take his time outside even when the weather wasn't great. We will definitely use him again.”

“Jayelyn was great! She stayed at our house and dog sat our 15 week old French bulldog puppy for a week over Thanksgiving. She was very responsive and sent daily pictures. Our home and pupper were just as we left them when we returned! I knew I could relax with Jayelyn taking care of everything!”

“Anastasia was wonderful with Max. She is very responsive and a good communicator. She followed all instructions well and left my home in hear spotless condition. Max was in great spirits when I got home. I'm so thankful Anastasia could watch Max so last minute. We would love to have her watch Max again.”

“Alex was a very nice, pleasant and attentive dog sitter. Our dog Gibbs seemed very happy and comfortable around her. We appreciated her willingness to travel a short distance to take care of him. We'd use her again the next time we are in the area.”

“Skyler was great, he was able to step in and watch our boys at the last second when our other sitter fell through. Caring for both a puppy and older dog with health issues at the same time is not an easy task and he did it with ease.”

“Elmer was absolutely amazing! He went above and beyond to sit our dog Ghost at our home for a week. He kept us updated daily and sent us lots of pictures and videos. We have a big energetic dog and Elmer made sure to walk him daily (sometimes multiple times a day) and cater to his needs. He even took care of a small wound Ghost had while we were away. We came home to a clean and tidy home and healthy and happy dog. We will definitely be using him again in the future.”

“Abigail did a great job watching our dogs! They’re pretty rambunctious and the older one can be a little moody, but she handled them perfectly. She was also able to administer their daily medication without issue. We would definitely use Abigail again.”

“Sophia was everything we had hoped for. She stayed with our elderly anxious poodle and gave him lots of love a reassurance. We felt like he was in great hands! We will definitely be calling on Sophia again to come stay at our house and take care of our fur baby!”

“Jad is very trustworthy. We had him house sit and take care of our three dogs. He spent time with them and gave them plenty of attention. We thought he did such a great job, we are having him back next weekend.”

“Apollo is somewhat “special” and can get nervous with strangers but Jessica was so patient with him the first day until he eventually came around! I am so grateful for her kind, gentle approach towards my slightly weird doggo! Will DEFINITELY be using her regularly!!”

About: I always make sure to go by the rules & routine of the owners when it comes to feedings, walks, medications, etc. If I have any questions or concerns, I contact them directly. I have taken care of a few dogs and cats ranging from a variety of my friends/family members and a few neighbors. My favorite part is cuddling and/or playing with them because that just brings me joy. I work from home, so my schedule is pretty flexible when it comes to being able to take a dog on a walk or feed them mid day. In my home, my cat has an area of his food & water as well as a separate area for his litter box. His sleeping area varies because he’s our spoiled boy. I make sure that if the pet makes any kind of mess that I clean it up right away with any cleaning supplies that are available and wash laundry if needed.

About: With over 5 years of hands-on experience at Lonestar Pet Lodges, I’ve cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities! From energetic puppies to senior dogs with special needs. My time in a professional boarding facility taught me how to spot behavior cues, administer medications, and create a safe, stress-free environment that feels like home. I treat every dog as if they were my own, giving them not just routine care, but real companionship, playtime, and affection. Whether it’s a walk, a weekend stay, or drop-in visits, you can trust that your pup is in experienced, loving hands! I’m currently still working part-time at Lonestar Pet Lodges but my schedule is very flexible-as well as weekend availability. I don’t have a set schedule so it changes throughout the month but I will make sure your pet gets the most care and time with me! I have a big dog of my own and I treat her like she’s my child. I always make sure she is surrounded by the people she loves and makes sure she gets all the biscuits and pets! I can guarantee your pet will be loved and taken care of under my watch!

“Zahra exceeded our expectations! We originally went with Zahra because of her hilarious and witty description on Rover, but her “no reviews just vibes” couldn’t be any more true. She was beyond amazing with our 3 pups, sent us update pics constantly, along with reassurance that our pups were doing amazing with her. Zahra went as far as taking them on rides daily to get pup cups (not requested, out of her own kindness), played with them, cuddled them, and loved on them like they were her own. I honestly wish I could give her 10 stars if that was a thing! She made our first nerve wracking experience with Rover an easy one. My 3 pups are missing aunty Zahra (yes, she’s aunty, my babies loved her that much)! 🥹”

About: I have had a plethora of pups all my life in a variety of sizes; and everything from teacups to titans. I have also more recently (4yrs) been able to unleash my love for fur babies on kitties too! I also have experience pet and house sitting for many years. I have a teacup poodle named Nugget that loves playing with dogs and cats of all sizes. Though Nugget and I live in an apartment, it is quite large with an open floor plan and plenty of room for the zoomies. It is also a very pet friendly gated complex with plenty of grassy areas to run around and play, and only a few minutes from the dog park! It is also just a block away from an artisan pet bakery and a veterinary hospital. Just across the street from my complex is a beautiful neighborhood with picturesque tree lined sidewalks that are great for afternoon walks. Nugget and I can’t wait to meet your fur baby and share some pets and cuddles. I currently work from home and make my own schedule, which gives me the flexibility to work with you and your pet’s schedule for the best outcome for all. My teacup poodle, Nugget, and I love hosting furry friends. We have lots of treats and toys to share l, with your permission of course. Multiple walks take place each day, anywhere from 15mins to an hour, depending on the weather, and fresh water is always available. Pets are allowed on the furniture and multiple pet beds are available, but I understand if you and your pet prefer their own and/or their crate. The longest time pets would be left alone is 1-2hrs, but this rarely happens as I usually take them with me if the errand allows for it. I am also happy to care for your pup in your own home. Please just let me know what kind of routine you wish me to follow and I’ll be happy to oblige to the best of my ability. Please note, walks during drop-in visits will only be long enough for your heart up to take care of their bodily needs. These visits are for feeding, checking in on your animal, and socialization. If you would like the focus of the visit to be walking your pup, please book a dog walk, as opposed to a drop-in visit. Thank you.

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and was lucky to grow up with three amazing pups — a Schnauzer, a Poodle, and a Toy Poodle. Since I was little, they were always part of my daily routine. After school, I’d spend time playing with them, and every evening after dinner, I’d take them on walks. I’ve always loved observing their behavior and moods. Whenever something seemed off, I would let my parents know right away so we could make sure they were okay. That early experience taught me to be attentive, gentle, and proactive when it comes to pet care. Being raised in a home filled with dogs, I naturally developed a strong sense of responsibility and love for animals. I treat every dog as if they were my own family. I currently work part-time, so I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate quality time to pet care. I'm usually available between 3 PM and 9 PM on both weekdays and weekends. Whether it's daily walks, playtime, or just keeping your pup company, I’m happy to help during those hours! When caring for pets, I make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I enjoy playing with them using their favorite toys and taking them out for walks after meals or at scheduled times. I also love giving them gentle physical affection—whether it’s cuddling or simply sitting beside them for a good belly rub. Safety is always my top priority. I keep an eye out for anything in the environment that could be harmful, and make sure pets stay away from unsafe foods, objects, or areas around the home. My goal is to create a calm, caring space where your pet feels at ease.

About: I love dogs, they are a family and we have to take care of them like that, I love to play with pets, they are awesome. The secret with pets is to make them feel comfortable and in trust, so you don’t have to worry about they can feel alone because I'll take care of him as if he were mine. I have had two dogs, one I bought and the other adopted, I love them both very much, their names are Mili and Toto , both of small race, very playful and naughty but above all affectionate ... I hope to spend a nice time with your pet and make it happy with each ride. Thank you for your attention, and your trust !!! I work in a full time job but with flexible schedules so if we can set appointments with some time in advance I’ll be happy to share and play with your fur baby. I have fenced, no pets at home, just me and my mom so we can both play and delivered all the love that your fur baby deserves ♥️

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life from a small tadpole to a big Great Dane, I am a huge animal lover. I’m extra patient and very considerate with every animals needs. Not all pets are the same and I go by what your fur baby needs. I am currently a stay at home mom so I have plenty of time in my hands. Anytime from 8:30 am to 2:00 pm during the week for babies potty breaks, play time or just simply checking up on them. Boarding I’m available at nights any day any time. I have a fenced patio, my two bedroom home is open for their pleasure. Leash and crate if needed. Will always keep my eyes on them and will protect and take care of them as if they were my own.

About: I have owned several dogs of different breeds over the years. I prioritize familiarity with dogs to set a routine and have confidence in each other. I try to have a fun active time with any dog that comes into my care. I work from home everyday. Every 16th and 30th I am gone for 2 hours. Although working at home I am near my own pets and always aware. I have large living areas for play time as well. I have a 6 year old Chihuahua who I walk to help her arthritis. I have a younger Havenese boy that loves running around and playing with his toys. I prioritize cleanliness in any place I visit.

Paige S.
“Paige has been an incredible walker and caretaker for our Rottweiler, Jasmine. From day one, they treated her with so much respect, patience, and love—exactly what a strong, intelligent dog like Jasmine deserves. Rottweilers can be a bit misunderstood, but Paige saw her sweet personality right away and formed an amazing bond with her. Whether it’s daily walks or overnight stays, I know Jasmine is in the best hands. We get detailed updates and the cutest photos, and it’s clear she’s happy, calm, and well cared for every time. Paige is also incredibly reliable, communicative, and respectful of our home. Finding someone I could trust with a large breed dog wasn’t easy—but Paige has exceeded every expectation. Highly recommend to anyone, especially big-dog families!”

Alayna provides each pet with love, kindness and patience. I can think of no one better suited to look after your fur family.”

Haoxuan Z.
“I grew up with my brother and our family dogs, and we spent a lot of time together taking care of them—feeding them, walking them, and just being around them. He’s always been gentle, patient, and really in tune with animals. Now that I have a cat of my own, I always ask him to look after her when I travel. Every time I come back, I can tell she’s been in good hands—she’s calm, happy, and clearly comfortable with him. My brother has a natural ability to make animals feel safe and loved. I fully trust him with any pet, and I know he’d be a fantastic sitter for others too.”

Maria Milagro O.

Sugarland pet parents share their Rover experiences
Jayelyn was great! She was our house sitter for 8-nights. She took care of two small (handfuls) dogs. They both interacted with her quite well and cuddled. She communicated well as we were on a cruise. We would certainly recommend Jayelyn and plan on using her again in the future.

Zahra took good care of our dogs while we were away. She had a slumber party with them and even picked up more food for them when they ran out. Thanks Zahra!

I can’t say enough good things about Daniel! My pups loved him, he was extra attentive to them and I got tons of great pictures to let me know they were happy!!

Gabrielle is very responsive and sends regular updates. We appreciate the photos and videos that she sends throughout her stay with our fur babies!! Will definitely consider booking with Gabrielle in the future.

Very professional and very respectful. Sarah kept us updated throughout the stay and was great for our dogs.

Rafaelina is our go-to dog sitter! Our girls Lola & Birdie adore her, and she’s been available with short-notice the last few times we’ve hired her! She’s an excellent house sitter too and you will not be disappointed if you hire her!!!

Erica was a Godsend for my very senior lab-mix with some physical disabilities. She stayed in my home with him 24-7 and took excellent care of him, and my home. Although I have security cameras throughout my home, I never felt the need to look in and check on my boy. She sent pics and videos and updated me regularly. I could relax during my much needed vacation knowing my baby boy (14.5 years!) was in great hands and being loved on. I'm planning my next trip now that I have found the most amazing dog & house sitter ever & know my baby will be safe! She is everything I'm saying and more. Excellent communications too which I greatly appreciate. She even tidied up my house including washing the kitchen towels, taking the trash & recycling out, and making my bed with fresh sheets so it would be ready for me on my late return. I just can't say enough. My boy & I both hit the jackpot with this amazing girl. Feel free to ask her for my number if you'd like a personal reference.

Amazing job with fantastic updates while I was away which gave me every confidence my small zoo was well taken care of! 🥰😻
