About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember, and caring for them has always been something I truly enjoy. My family has always said that one of my best qualities is how naturally I connect with animals. I have a calm, patient, and loving personality, and I treat every pet with kindness and respect. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing outside, or just having someone to keep them company, I’m happy to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I know every pet has their own personality and routine, so I’ll follow your instructions carefully and give your furry friend the same care and attention I would give my own. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big decision, and my goal is to make both you and your pet feel comfortable. I’ll always provide dependable care, lots of affection, and updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. Pet care fits well into my schedule because I currently work a part-time job, which gives me plenty of flexibility throughout the week. I’ll also be starting community college soon, but I’ll only be attending classes two days a week. This allows me to dedicate time to walking, playing with, and caring for pets while making sure they receive the attention and love they deserve. I’m dependable, organized, and committed to providing reliable care. Whether your pet needs a daily walk, drop-in visits, or extra attention while you’re away, I’ll make sure they’re safe, happy, and well cared for. I understand how important routines are for pets, and I’ll always do my best to accommodate your schedule and your pet’s individual needs. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I always make their safety, comfort, and happiness my top priorities. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, fresh water, medication if needed, and any special instructions provided by the owner. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, exercise, and affection so they feel comfortable while their family is away. I also keep their environment clean, watch for any changes in their behavior, and provide regular updates so owners can have peace of mind. I treat every pet with the same love, patience, and care that I would give to my own.

“Karen is a superstar! The dogs loved her and so did we! Karen is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to dog behaviors and personalities. It was our pleasure to have her watch Temple and Bandit over the weekend.”

About: I have been around dogs my whole life. Dogs seem to take to me well. I’ve worked as a junior groomer for a few months and trained my own dog. Not professionally, but he listens and understands. I’ve always loved dogs and been an animal person! I have an almost 4 month old baby so I have been a SAHM. I love to work and would like to help my family more. This way I can be at home loving on my son and also your fur babies! We just moved into our forever home due to my husband being retired Navy. We got married in Hawaii where he was stationed and I grew up. Our neighborhood was military and I would watch peoples dogs, board, check ins, walks. I worked at a doggie daycare and became close with a client who would bring her dog over to me to watch instead. Also, became very close with some people in the neighborhood whom I’ve take care of their dogs and now can say are friends like family!
“Paris was very responsive to my questions, comments, and requests. I appreciated the care she gave my dogs. They are pretty independent but having someone there to keep them company and watch the house while I am gone gives me peace of mind while I am traveling.”
“Mardi did an incredible job taking care of our cats and home while we were away for a week! She followed our instructions perfectly, sent regular updates and photos, and left our house in even better condition than when she arrived. I’m usually a little anxious about leaving the cats when we travel, but I was able to relax and enjoy our trip knowing everything was safe in her hands. I will absolutely book her again the next time we need a cat sitter!”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life since I was a kid. I love dogs and my whole family is very dog friendly. I currently have two of my own dogs, Blizzard my 5 1/2 year old Goldendoodle and Boomer my 8 1/2 year old Beagle. These guys are my best friends! Since rescuing my Goldendoodle Blizzard, I’ve also learned to bathe & groom him, a special skill that takes practice and patience. Boarding Notes: I work from home, so I am able to take care of the dogs and be very flexible with their walking, feeding and bathroom needs. At my house, dogs are welcome on the furniture and on the bed at night but I will respect other owners obedience/rules while caring for their dogs. We have a lot of the room in the house which even has a fun room with toy mountain, a collection of hundreds of dog toys that everyone is welcome to play with! I have a big backyard but it is not fenced in. Instead, I prefer to walk the dogs on leashes/leads or attach them to the dog-run line I have running across the backyard for playtime! House Sitting Notes: I am more than happy to pack up and come stay at your home to watch your dog(s)! My only condition is that I would need to bring my two dogs with me for the house sitting stay. If this is something you would not allow, I will not be able to house sit for you. If you are open to this, we can discuss more about rules/regulations if I were to house sit for you to make sure you are fully comfortable with me and my two dogs staying in your home once you submit the request! Drop In Notes: I am happy to do drop in's to care for your dogs, instead of boarding them at my house. For drop in's, I would stop by 1 or 2 times each day for a length of time you request to play and care for your dogs. I would not stay overnight. I do this for families that would prefer their dogs stay in their own environment and not get boarded. You should only book this if your dog(s) can go 12 hours or more without a bathroom break. If your dog(s) cannot do that, I would strongly encourage you to board your dogs with me or request I house sit - either way I would make sure they are very comfortable and safe. I would love the opportunity to watch your dog(s) and can be flexible with short-term or long-term boarding, drop ins, house sitting - plus other accommodations. I will treat your dogs as if they were my own and give them a lot of love and care for their entire stay! My services are worth the investment so you have peace of mind! If you are interested in my services, put a request in so we can plan everything out. I work from home, therefore I can accommodate many different types of schedules based on a dogs needs. Frequent walks, feeding or medication is no challenge throughout each day/night. Any dog who comes to stay with us will be loved and cared for as if they were my own. Same goes if I am to come care for your dogs at your home. They will get plenty of love and attention with play-time and companionship!
“I truly can't say enough GREAT things about Caroline and Gavin. I have a senior dog (14), a nervous, high anxiety dog (5) and a brand new kitty. I have always been nervous about leaving my home and animals and this was the first vacation that I truly enjoyed because I knew everything was being taken care of. Great communication and tons of pictures to show how great my animals were doing. It is so nice being able to leave and know your animals get the same (and maybe even better!!) care! 5 stars!!”
“I can't recommend Charisma highly enough for her exceptional care of my puppy! From the moment I dropped him off, I knew he was in great hands. Charisma took him to the dog park, where he had an absolute blast playing with her puppy for the day. By the time I picked him up, he had expended all his energy, which is exactly what I needed! Not only was he well-exercised, but he was also well-fed and clearly taken care of with the utmost attention and love. Charisma's communication throughout the day was fantastic; she kept me updated with adorable pictures and notes on how he was doing. If you're looking for a reliable, caring, and fun caretaker for your pet, Charisma is the perfect choice. I wholeheartedly recommend her services to anyone who wants the best for their furry friend. She truly goes above and beyond!”

About: I’ve always grown up around animals in a big, loving family that treats pets like family members, so caring for them has always come naturally to me. While I’m new to Rover, I do have hands-on experience caring for my own pets as well as helping family friends with dog sitting, check-ins, feeding, walks, playtime, and giving lots of attention. I genuinely love animals and enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality. I’m patient, kind, dependable, and committed to making pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. Whether your dog loves energetic walks, belly rubs, or just a calm companion, I’m happy to match their needs and make sure they’re well cared for. I’m currently a college student and I’m the Army Reserves taking one summer class and working part-time, which gives me a pretty flexible schedule this summer. I have plenty of free time for dog sitting, drop-in visits, walks, and giving pets the attention they deserve throughout the day. I’m especially available for families who need reliable help during vacations, work hours, or busy summer schedules. Because of my flexibility, I can often accommodate different routines and make pet care a genuine priority. Your pet’s comfort and safety are extremely important to me. I understand how important trust is when someone else is caring for your furry family member, so I always aim to provide dependable, loving, and attentive care. In your home, I will respect your space, carefully follow all instructions, and keep your pet’s normal routine as consistent as possible. I pay close attention to feeding schedules, potty breaks, exercise, and behavior to make sure pets feel secure and happy. I believe in gentle care, patience, and creating a positive experience so both pets and owners feel confident and at ease.

I live on 13 acres of beautiful land with backyard access to trails, which gives plenty of space for walks and outdoor playtime. I primarily offer in-home sitting and make sure to maintain your pet’s normal routine so they feel secure, relaxed, and loved while you’re away.

About: I’ve had/been around many different types of dogs my entire life. My family would always want me to come over and train/watch theirs animals for them like I was the go to person for anybody who got a new pet. I also use to volunteer at a boarding company to help feed/walk the dogs. I currently do doordash so I can pretty much fit any request in to my schedule. The most amount of time I would be away would probably be around 5-6 hours. I’m a dependable and caring pet sitter who treats every pet like my own. Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Stovall walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Stovall maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Stovall choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Stovall. On Rover:
- 89% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 94% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
