About: Located just 10 minutes west of the Legends of Kansas City, your fur-baby will get the TLC that you’d provide in your own home. Plenty of attention and room to run! I currently work some evenings and weekends in order to homeschool during the day so we are home often. I will be clear about availability during bookings. My family is fur-baby friendly with 4 goats, a flock of chickens, two sweet puppies, and a cat currently. During bookings my two dogs (one is an outdoor farm dog) and cat will be kept separate to ensure the safety and comfort of all. Any medical, training, attention, and care needs will be accommodated as requested by the owner.

“Rae and Chris are wonderful with our girl, Pickles. She is a rescue and hadn't been exposed to other dogs in her former home. We really needed to socialize her because we often have guests with dogs at our home. We nervously decided to try day care. “Jamie was prompt in her response to my initial inquiry and we were able to set up a meet and greet right away. Her home is lovely, clean, and has a fenced in backyard. She spoke so highly of my puppy and it really made me feel like she cared about her. She spent time training her every day and adhered to the schedule I provided for structure. She set up play dates to socialize my puppy as she doesn’t have any pets in her home. She went above and beyond training on concepts I hadn’t introduced to my puppy yet. She was thorough in our initial meet and even recapped with me at the end of the week. Her daily recaps shared so much info about my puppies day and I loved hearing about everything they did together and how much she enjoyed her time with my puppy. Jamie is a stellar caregiver, accommodating of my schedule, loving towards my puppy, and great with communication.”

About: Hi all! My name is Manni and I have been working with animals for about 4 years! I have worked at 2 pet resorts, and a vet hospital! I also am currently in college working towards a degree in veterinary medicine. My goal is to become an exotic vet surgeon. I also can specialize my care based on your pets needs (i.e. senior care, medication administration, obedience training, and puppy care!) I make sure potty breaks happen every 1 to 2 hours, and with my fully fenced in yard they’ll have plenty of safe space to stretch their legs, sniff around, and burn off some zoomies. I also live right down the road from Wyandotte County Lake Park, so walks and little adventures are always an option for energetic pups. I offer training, endless affection, and personalized care to help your pet feel completely at home. Whether your furry friend needs long walks, nonstop playtime, couch snuggles, or even a dim light and TV left on at bedtime so they don’t feel lonely, I’m happy to make them comfortable. I also offer baths and light grooming when needed, so your pet comes home happy, fresh, and probably just a little spoiled ✨

About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs since I was a little girl. I’m the owner of two fur babies with our oldest being with us for the past 13 years. I’m comfortable with taking care of new puppies or senior pets and can administer meds as needed. I’m currently working from home so I’ll have plenty of time to spend with your fur baby, walking them and playing with them throughout the day. I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs, a Pomeranian and a golden doodle who love new friends. I can easily crate your pet if needed.

About: I grew up on the family farm surrounded by dogs and cats and all kinds of animals - caring for them was part of my life. That lifelong connection led me to volunteer at a local dog and cat shelter where I've gained even more experience with pets of all temperaments and needs. We recently had to let our 14 year Manitou, our beloved German Shepherd mix go. We adopted her when she 2 months old!! My daughter was 8 at the time and got to grow up with her “sister.” When she got her own place at college and wanted a dog of her own, I helped my daughter find and rescue her own 2-month old dachshund puppy, Margot. We spent the summer together crate training and potty training the newest member of our family, my grandpuppy. We attended Puppy Training classes together where Margot learned good manners with people and other puppies her age. A little about myself; I worked as a Paralegal for over 20 years. January of 2020 I decided to start petsitting full time. I saw the need for “dog nanny” services, housesitting & caring for some dogs who do not handle new environments as well as others or other dogs. So I focus on one on one care. I also open up my home for “dog lodging” where the dog is treated as a guest & I make them feel as comfortable as possible & stick to their normal routine. Our home is smoke-free & our fenced in backyard is chemical free (I like dandelions!) Our dogs are like our children and grandchildren. I understand how much yours mean to you, and I will always take care of your dogs as if they were my own.

About: For as long as I can remember, my family has always had dogs! I have been around a variety of breeds and am comfortable with all kinds. I haven’t gotten another dog since my last dog received his angel wings but I love to be a sitter! I have a large backyard that is great for potty breaks and play time! I am home all day every day. I am looking for a fun part time job for the time to go along with my weekly schedule. I’ve always had dogs up until my last dog received his angle wings. I miss the doggy snuggles and outdoor play time. I would love to care for yours when needed.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats in my house since I can remember. I’ve learned the different signals they use to communicate their needs with us. I’m currently working part time and in the process of switching to a remote job. Either way- I will be able to pay plenty of attention to the animals in my care! I have an unfenced yard, but I will take dogs for walks frequently. If they are an active pup, depending on the comfort level of the owner and dog, I can take them to a dog park!
