“Evelyn was excellent! She communicated well and was SUPER patient with my very nervous dog. I would highly recommend her and will reach out to her again in the future.”

“We just had our beloved husky stay with Nichole and her family for six days. It started with a meet and greet and our dog loved meeting and playing with her three dogs. After meeting Nichole and her lovely family, I knew right away my dog would be well cared for. They have a massive fenced in backyard in a great neighborhood. I received video and picture updates while we were gone and a recap of activities when I picked up our dog. I highly recommend Nicole and will definitely plan on booking with her again next time we go out of town. Thank you Nichole for taking such good care of our baby!”

“Elizabeth and Christopher and their family took excellent care of our dog Bruce and cat Toast. They communicated promptly and kept us well updated while we were gone. I can tell our boys were well cared for, we would definitely use them again! They also made drop-off and pickup and a breeze.”

“Stephanie took great care of my two dogs while I was traveling for 10 days. I received lots of updates & photos, which I appreciated. It took away any anxiety I had at being away for that long. Stephanie gave Yoshi her required daily medication and lots of belly rubs. Both Itsy & Yoshi seemed to enjoy their stay. Both slept most the evening once back home. I will definitely book Stephanie again in the future. She was great!”

“Cassie and Ben and their kids did an amazing job keeping our dog for a week. It felt like family was keeping him. They played with him and treated him like their own. They sent us pictures and videos throughout the week. We highly recommend them.”

“I am extremely satisfied with the care that was provided for my dog by Kristy, and I know Bruno had an excellent time when he stayed with her over the weekend. Her and her kids were so great with him, and he was totally worn out when he got home. Not only that, but he played in the mud over his stay and they gave him a bath and got him all cleaned up, going way above and beyond my expectations. Kristy sent me pictures of my dog all weekend, so I knew he was in great hands, and having fun. I would definitely recommend Kristy if you're looking for an awesome petsitter!”

“We are so grateful to have found such a wonderful sitter like Jessica. She stops by to let our fur babies out, and they absolutely adore her. She doesn’t just give them a quick bathroom break- she plays with them, gives them loving attention, and makes sure they enjoy their favorite treat before she leaves. What really sets her apart is the care she takes without ever being asked. If an accident happens while we are gone she takes the initiative to clean it up, which means the world to us. It’s clear that she genuinely cares about our pups and treats them like her own. If you’re looking for someone who is loyal, caring, and truly dependable, we can’t recommend her enough. Our boys light up when they see her, and we feel completely at ease knowing they’re in such good hands.”

“Nate did a great job with our 2 cats. He sent lots of pictures and was very responsive throughout the week. He also went above and beyond leaving our house very clean! We would certainly use him again.”

“Recently my oldest son was getting married out of state. An event, no mother would ever think of missing. I would be gone for a week in October, along with my entire family. Over the last few months I couldn’t help worrying about who, or where, I was going to get to care, for my two cats. Everyone I knew who could possibly take on this task, wasn’t available for the day’s or times I needed. I was tired of feeling sick to my stomach over this and knew I’d have to find someone I didn’t know, to come into my home for seven days and care for my beloved pets. I came across the website “Rover”. I looked over the website at least ten times. I kept thinking, this is the type of job I would LOVE to have! But, at that moment, I wasn’t trying to find a job, I needed to find the right person who was trustworthy and reliable. I looked over several people, I wanted someone who was close to where I live. When I care for other people’s pets, they’re treated the same way I treat my own and that’s the type of pet sitter I wanted. That’s the moment I reached out to Angela. When I first reached out to her and found out she was available for the dates I needed, I was ecstatic . We scheduled a Meet & Greet prior to my trip. I explained how shy my cats were and was even unsure they would come out to meet her that day. Unfortunately, they hid so Angela was unable to meet them. I knew by talking to her that first day, I would have nothing to worry about with the care of my cats. Angela was great, not only at getting any picture she could, of my bashful fur babies, and sending pictures daily, but followed all directions regarding feeding, watering and everything else we went over during our visit. I commend Angela for her honesty, trust, and the excellent care and time she so generously provided. It’s obvious to see, the love she truly has for all animals, and with her kind heart, I’ve no doubt, that love, is returned to her, from every animal she cares for. 💕🐈⬛ 🐈 Thank you, Angela. It’s nice not having that worry of going out of town and finding the right person to watch my cats. You’ll be the first person I reach out to.”

“Here's what's great about Alex, other than the fact that my animals love her. She is the consummate professional - she handles things well, she cares about your pets and home as if they were hers, and she keeps you informed! I'd take Alex at 75% over anyone else at 100%!”

About: I haven’t had much experience with cats, other than helping take care of them in an animal shelter. I played with them to make sure they stayed active and felt loved. I will do the same with yours.
“Nicole did extremely well. Great communication through out, and took good care of both cats. Our cats are not friendly at all, and routinely hide from strangers, but by the end of her care period, they were brave enough to show themselves so we got to see pictures of them, which is a sign that she was really good with them.”

“Michele took great care of our cat Veronica. Our shy kitty even came out long enough for Michele to take a photo, which is a first in all of our Rover visits! Thanks for everything Michele!”

About: I may have more experience with dogs, but I’ve always loved cats too. I’ve owned and cared for a cat before and understand how important it is to make them feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while you’re away. “Shanelle went above and beyond to ensure our cats were well-fed and happy for the week were out of town. She kept in regular contact with us on the app with daily updates and pictures. She was also right on time with the initial visit. I would not hesitate to hire Shanelle again.”

“Tara was great! She completed all tasks very well. She left my house neat and clean w dishes done and garbage and recycling taken out. I’ve only used 3 other pet sitters and she was by far the best! We had a little difficulty communicating and operating around the bitter cold, snow and ice conditions, but she rallied. Tara is personable and conscientious - I would definitely book her again.”

“Sydney was a great pet sitter! She listened to all of my directions and actually got one of my scaredy kitties to play with her!! She is a kitty whisperer for sure! She was comfortable with all my of pets including rats, mice, and lizards. I will definitely being trying to use Sydney in the future! Thank you so much!”

About: As a cat owner myself, I love caring for other cats as well. I have always had cats for as long as I can remember. I really enjoy meeting cats of all personalities, as I know all cats are unique.

“Josh was very flexible, attentive, and caring for our pup! He sent us lots of updates and my dog came home every day exercised, socialized and happy! Would definitely recommend!!”

“My mini schnauzer loves to go for doggy daycare! Rae Lynne takes pictures and videos through out the day and communicates via text message. She is close by and has a big yard for the dogs to play. She is fabulous!!! And so sweet! Highly recommend her!!!”

“This daycare has been great for my super fearful rescue who came from a puppy mill/hoarding situation so she has no idea how to be a dog. They have been SO patient with her and having somewhere affordable she can go while I work 12 hour shifts has been such a relief I can't even verbalize the magnitude of difference it has created in our lives. I'm telling anyone and everyone who will listen about this place. Cannot recommend enough.”

“I was initially hesitant about booking a doggy daycare, especially after hearing various rumors and fearing the worst. However, I must say that I was thoroughly impressed with the daycare I chose. It truly exceeded my expectations. My dog, Coco, showed immense love and care for Miss Shantanice, who was very happy and content in her care. I . “Jamie was prompt in her response to my initial inquiry and we were able to set up a meet and greet right away. Her home is lovely, clean, and has a fenced in backyard. She spoke so highly of my puppy and it really made me feel like she cared about her. She spent time training her every day and adhered to the schedule I provided for structure. She set up play dates to socialize my puppy as she doesn’t have any pets in her home. She went above and beyond training on concepts I hadn’t introduced to my puppy yet. She was thorough in our initial meet and even recapped with me at the end of the week. Her daily recaps shared so much info about my puppies day and I loved hearing about everything they did together and how much she enjoyed her time with my puppy. Jamie is a stellar caregiver, accommodating of my schedule, loving towards my puppy, and great with communication.”

“Brittany was great and Ovi had a great time staying with she and her family! Very flexible and personable and made sure every detail about his care was attended to. And their dog Franklin was a great companion for Ovi!”

“My dog absolutely loves coming to this doggy daycare! He gets so excited every time we pull up to the building. It's clear he has a blast playing with the other dogs and getting attention from the staff. Knowing he's in such a caring and fun environment makes my day so much easier. We've returning, and it's the best decision we've made for his socialization and happiness!”

“Kasey is a great sitter! She replies to texts very quickly and she sends good pictures and provided proactive updates of how my dogs were doing! I felt very safe having my dogs in her care!”

About: I am available for drop ins over the holidays! I have spent my entire life around animals! I have extensive experience with cats, dogs, and horses, as well as some experience with small pets, including rabbits, ferrets, and aquarium animals. I am certified in Cat & Dog first aid through the Red Cross, and I have previously worked full-time at a doggy daycare and boarding facility, so I have plenty of experience with all different types of dogs. I am also comfortable administering oral and topical medications, and have limited experience with injected medications. My schedule tends to be very flexible; however, I appreciate requests made well in advance. Please be aware that on a typical day I am ONLY available in the mornings and evenings, not at midday. I have experience taking care of many anxious pets, so I always work hard to make sure that each animal is as comfortable and happy as they can be! During walks, that means sniffing if they want to sniff and running if they want to run. I do not interact with other dogs or people on walks, no matter the friendliness/reactivity level of your dog, to keep yours as safe as possible.
About: I’ve been pet sitting for 9 years and caring for animals is truly one of my favorite things ever. From playful puppies and curious kittens to senior pets who just want extra cuddles, I’ve done it all. I also have experience with special needs pets, reptiles, birds, and those wonderfully dramatic high maintenance fur babies who act like they pay the bills. I’m free spirited, goofy, adventurous, and always ready to make pets feel safe, loved, and entertained while you’re away. Whether that means playtime zoomies, slow walks with senior pups, or giving your cat the personal space they demanded five minutes ago, I’m happy to adapt to every pet’s personality. I send daily updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pets are having a great time. I also leave a little pet magnet behind as a thank you for trusting me with your furry family members. I’d love the chance to meet you and your pets and become their new friend! I currently do Rover full time, so I always try to keep a spot open for my regulars and new furry friends too! My schedule is super flexible and I’m happy to work around your needs. I just ask for at least a day’s notice whenever possible. As of 2025, I officially have a home with a fenced in yard, so your pups will have plenty of safe space to run, play, sniff every blade of grass dramatically, and enjoy their own little vacation while you’re away. 🐾 If your pet loves the outdoors, no worries here! I make sure potty breaks happen every 1 to 2 hours, and with my fully fenced in yard they’ll have plenty of safe space to stretch their legs, sniff around, and burn off some zoomies. I also live right down the road from Wyandotte County Lake Park, so walks and little adventures are always an option for energetic pups. I offer training, endless affection, and personalized care to help your pet feel completely at home. Whether your furry friend needs long walks, nonstop playtime, couch snuggles, or even a dim light and TV left on at bedtime so they don’t feel lonely, I’m happy to make them comfortable. I also offer baths and light grooming when needed, so your pet comes home happy, fresh, and probably just a little spoiled ✨
“Stephanie is a great communicator and very patient with all of our concerns for her first visit with her. Frankie had a great day and came home happy and tired from the day of play (that she loves). We are so glad to have found Stephanie and appreciate her beautiful attitude!”

“I booked with Taylor to watch my dog for a couple hours one morning. He has separation anxiety. She understands the needs for a dog with SA and was able to help manage his nerves while we were gone for some errands.”

About: Much more than just “pets”, dogs are our loyal, loving family members. Facebook: KC Pet Nanny Time to book stays for your summer plans!! It’s never to early to book & guarantee your spot! We recently had to let our 14 year Manitou, our beloved German Shepherd mix go. We adopted her when she 2 months old!! My daughter was 8 at the time and got to grow up with her “sister.” When she got her own place at college and wanted a dog of her own, I helped my daughter find and rescue her own 2-month old dachshund puppy, Margot. We spent the summer together crate training and potty training the newest member of our family, my grandpuppy. We attended Puppy Training classes together where Margot learned good manners with people and other puppies her age. A little about myself; I worked as a Paralegal for over 20 years. January of 2020 I decided to start petsitting full time. I saw the need for “dog nanny” services, housesitting & caring for some dogs who do not handle new environments as well as others or other dogs. So I focus on one on one care. I also open up my home for “dog lodging” where the dog is treated as a guest & I make them feel as comfortable as possible & stick to their normal routine. Our home is smoke-free & our fenced in backyard is chemical free (I like dandelions!) Our dogs are like our children and grandchildren. I understand how much yours mean to you, and I will always take care of your dogs as if they were my own.
About: For as long as I can remember, my family has always had dogs! I have been around a variety of breeds and am comfortable with all kinds. I haven’t gotten another dog since my last dog received his angel wings but I love to be a sitter! I have a large backyard that is great for potty breaks and play time! I am home all day every day. I am looking for a fun part time job for the time to go along with my weekly schedule. I’ve always had dogs up until my last dog received his angle wings. I miss the doggy snuggles and outdoor play time. I would love to care for yours when needed.
About: I’ve had dogs and cats in my house since I can remember. I’ve learned the different signals they use to communicate their needs with us. I’m currently working part time and in the process of switching to a remote job. Either way- I will be able to pay plenty of attention to the animals in my care! I have an unfenced yard, but I will take dogs for walks frequently. If they are an active pup, depending on the comfort level of the owner and dog, I can take them to a dog park!

About: Caring for furry friends has always been a part of my life. My husband and I have two very different dogs so I’m comfortable walking both high-energy dogs who love to move and explore, as well as low-energy or senior dogs who prefer a slower, more relaxed pace. I also have some experience caring for reactive dogs. My patience, awareness, and attention to each dog’s individual needs helps me care for your furry friend just as you would. I don’t rush walks—I enjoy getting outside, soaking up the fresh air, and making sure your dog has a safe, positive, and enjoyable experience every time. I’d love to schedule a meet & greet so we can make sure it’s a great fit for both you and your pup! About: I’ve never known a time during my life when I didn’t have a pet. My family had several dogs and I even owned some exotic pets. My current doggo is Kali, a five year old Bernedoodle. As somebody who is highly empathetic by nature, I connect really easily with animals. For this reason, family and friends always trusted me to take care of their loved fur friends. I work well with young to old pets, and am accustomed to very gentle training and care with lots of love. This is my full time gig. I’m autistic, so being around animals is both therapeutic and what I enjoy as I find it to be much less stress inducing than work that requires socialization. I also have a special connection with animals as I’m a very empathetic person and read energies well. I have a yard and a friendly, trained bernedoodle that works very well with other dogs. She’s been in training and daycare since she was a puppy. Your pets are more than welcome to have a playmate if they’re friendly as well. I also have a large crate if your pet needs kenneled. I give pets constant attention and honestly spoil them, so to me they are just another family member.

“Honey LOVES Ethan! Ethan did a wonderful job with our Labrador the past few days! I could tell how happy she was to see him and for her walks. The proof is through my ring doorbell footage (excessive butt wiggles are a telltale sign). We will absolutely book Ethan again!”

About: I was raised with dogs and responsible for feeding and walking them most of my life. My childhood home had a yard for them to play in but we would walk the dogs three times a day on vacations. One of our dogs had accidents a lot so I’m adept at cleaning up. I work from home so I can be anywhere to play and care for your babies. My schedule is flexible and my work is mobile so your pets will never have to wait for play time or walks. It’s already stressful when their parent is gone so I like to keep your pets schedule the same. If they get up early, I get up early. Simply let me know your pets routine so we can keep it the same while you’re gone.

“Anna was a lifesaver. She walked my puppy Clark 5 days in a row. She was very communicative with me, and let me know the time frame in which she’d be coming to take him. Took pictures and updated me on everything. I HIGHLY recommend Anna and will definitely be choosing her to walk Clark next time I need it.”

I am working at a vet clinic and getting experience in that field. I am also available on weekends and capable of working with you to put the needs of your pet first. My dogs have a fenced in yard so during this time of year they spend a lot of time outside and playing fetch. We have crate trained them as puppies so I can accommodate to any means necessary.

About: Hi I’m Jess! I am currently an Oncology Pharmacist at a local hospital and proud mama 2 rescue pups! I worked for Rover during pharmacy school and now that student loans are knocking, I am looking to make some extra money. I was raised in an animal loving house with at least two cats and a dog at all times. I Currently help care for a Newfoundland and Husky mix so I have experience with large breed dogs as well as smaller breeds and all levels of energy. I also assist in carrying for my families goats and chicken and many cats- So I am a well equipped to help out with any animal care needs. I even completed a rotation in school at a Veterinary Pharmacy! It’s never a bad thing to have a Pharmacist in your corner for animals and humans alike 🤓 I mostly have availability on the weekends to cover for trips and vacations as well as most evenings/overnights. For boarding services, our own dogs are kennel trained and are kept in their kennels while we are away. They both have easy going temperaments and get along with most dogs. We are happy to do meet and greets before hand and always keep dogs separated if we are not directly observing them. I care for your pet as well as I care for my own. I have experience fostering animals and am keen on providing safe and quality care to pets of any temperament.
About: I have taken care of dogs and cats for at least 25 years. My in laws have 2 lovable labradoodles who I just adore. I haven't met a dog or cat that I havent loved and taken good care of like my own pet. I currently am working on a part-time basis for dog/cat and house sitting. I think that families and single people should be able to have the freedom to go on vacations or out of town without worring about their pets or home. I want to give you peace of mind to enjoy going out of town or on a long needed vacation. I wouldn't be able to have pets come to my home because I dont have a fenced yard. I take my dog out on a leash. I am available to come to clients homes because my husband is able to take care of Sadie while I am away from home.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 15 years old. I started out volunteering at a local animal control. As I got older I continued to volunteer at local rescues, which is where I started working full time as a kennel attendant. I fostered and helped rehabilitate dogs for 2 years. I’ve handled puppies all the way to seniors. My unique ability to stay with dogs with behavior/anxiety issues is what sets me apart from other sitters. I work from home currently and only have my 2 personal cats. So my schedule is pretty flexible with overnight care! With drop ins and walks my afternoon availability is a little difficult. I have a fenced in yard. I have 2 personal kitties who are well behaved. When staying in your home I will provide as many daily updates as necessary.

“Bo spent four nights with Lizmarie T. this past week. He appeared to have a great time at her house and with the other doggie buddies. Will definitely use her again in the future! Thanks so much for taking care of our Bo!”

“Brittany and family take such wonderful care of Rose! I really appreciate frequent photos of the dogs playing together and comments about how well Rose is doing. Rose returns home a totally happy and relaxed dog. Best dog sitter I’ve ever had!!”

“Bubba was very happy and content when we picked him up. He was tired from all the activity and play. A very positive experience for us and was the first experience for us using Rover. Nate was great with Bubba and flexible also to meet some extra requests extending our sitting needs .”

“Carolyn took great care of my fur baby! She took him for a lot of walks, sent daily updates and pictures. Nice to have the peace of mind that my baby was well cared for!”

“Steve is great. Really good guy who obviously cares about his and other people’s pets. He’s very accommodating and flexible. My dogs enjoy being there. Steve has become my go-to pet sitter in Lawrence.”

“Natalia was so sweet! I have a pretty energetic big dog and she had no problem taking her on even with us asking at the last minute. She made sure to take pics and give updates which really eased my mind since I was so anxious leaving my dog.”

“Samantha was great!! I ran into many crises during my trip and luckily I didn’t have to worry about my boy at all. I could tell Samantha was very caring and knew I was having trouble, so she even went out her way to accommodate me and the pup without complaint as she knew I had a lot on my plate. We need more Rover sitter like her!!”

“Taylor always takes the best care of our doggo! She's great with timeliness and communication. She's also wonderful with her updates/pictures during longer stays.”

“I can't say enough good things about Richard. From the time we did the meet & greet, it was clear he really cares about dogs and has a special knack with them given his calm and in-control energy. During the six nights my dog stayed with Richard, I received tons of photos and videos of my dog having a blast playing and relaxing with his two pups...and Richard's wife even knitted my dog a scarf! I would recommend Richard to anyone, including my mom and her two dogs, who demanded I share his info with her. Thank you!”
“Sharon & Glen both took great care of my 2 dogs while I was out of town. One of my dogs has a hard time getting around and they were accommodating and so gentle. They also have the perfect back yard to let the other run off energy. Will absolutely book again for future travel needs. Thank you!!”
“Amazing Family and dog watchers! Very communicative and gave us timely updates. We already booked for them to watch our dog again. Can’t recommend this family enough!”

“Austin was great with our boy Loki. He made sure to introduce his dog to Loki in a manner that was safe for both dogs and they ended up really loving to play together all weekend. Austin made sure to get correct feeding instructions and asked about Loki’s preferences. I really felt at ease leaving Loki with Austin. I got updates and photos/videos during Loki’s stay which was great!”

“Tori and the kids, thank you so much for hosting Koda. We're so happy to see that Koda is settling in so well and getting all the snuggles. She's already feeling right at home. Thank you again for taking such great care of Koda.”
