“Recently my oldest son was getting married out of state. An event, no mother would ever think of missing. I would be gone for a week in October, along with my entire family. Over the last few months I couldn’t help worrying about who, or where, I was going to get to care, for my two cats. About: Located just 10 minutes west of the Legends of Kansas City, your fur-baby will get the TLC that you’d provide in your own home. Plenty of attention and room to run! I currently work some evenings and weekends in order to homeschool during the day so we are home often. I will be clear about availability during bookings. My family is fur-baby friendly with 4 goats, a flock of chickens, two sweet puppies, and a cat currently. During bookings my two dogs (one is an outdoor farm dog) and cat will be kept separate to ensure the safety and comfort of all. About: I am available for drop ins over the holidays! I have spent my entire life around animals! I have extensive experience with cats, dogs, and horses, as well as some experience with small pets, including rabbits, ferrets, and aquarium animals. I am certified in Cat & Dog first aid through the Red Cross, and I have previously worked full-time at a doggy daycare and boarding facility, so I have plenty of experience with all different types of dogs. I am also comfortable administering oral and topical medications, and have limited experience with injected medications. My schedule tends to be very flexible; however, I appreciate requests made well in advance. Please be aware that on a typical day I am ONLY available in the mornings and evenings, not at midday. About: I’ve never known a time during my life when I didn’t have a pet. My family had several dogs and I even owned some exotic pets. My current doggo is Kali, a five year old Bernedoodle. I just ask for 3 days notice for changes! I have two big dogs at home, so I’m very comfortable with active dogs and daily care routines.
