“I could not recommend Ms. Pamela enough! She was able to take care of our maltipoo on very short notice on our drive from NY to GA. We discovered Hotel Roanoke does not allow dogs, so we last minute had to find a pet sitter in the area. It is difficult leaving your dog with new people, but Ms. Pamela made the process seamless by being responsive, good at communication, warm, and friendly. Ginger came back clearly well cared for and we got several status pictures throughout the stay. Ms. Pamela has a heart for dogs, and we are so appreciative of her care.”

About: I’ve had dogs and cats around me for most of my life, from growing-up on a farm in Maryland to working large animal husbandry at the Virginia Tech Veterinary School to sharing a 1-bedroom studio with two cats in Roanoke City, and I’ve always loved all animals. All! Right now, I have one dog and three cats of my own, and they are very much part of my family. I’m comfortable caring for both dogs and cats with different personalities and needs. I enjoy walks, playtime, and just hanging out with them and giving them attention. I know how important it is to have someone you can trust with your pets when you’re away, and I’ll care for yours just like I care for my own. I’m currently in the process of my Pet-CPR/First Aid certification. I’m working a flexible schedule (as a Referee). When I’m at work, Nalini (my wife), will be there at home with your pet. So, your pet would never be there alone day or night. The most respect, care, compassion, and hugs!! There’s separate pet living spaces in my house for accommodating your pets needs, and we have a friendly and vaccinated dog.

Donna was absolutely wonderful! My dog can be a little anxious when I leave her but she like Donna immediately and settled in as if she had been staying at her house forever. Donna was attentive and caring and has a really nice home and yard to host dogs. I can’t recommend her enough.
Bosco had the time of his life, he was so happy, played so much with the other dogs. I cannot thank Samantha enough for her contact, sending of photos and videos. She quickly realized how anxious that we were leaving Bosco a recent adoption (mind you he was totally fine leaving us....). Samantha was so attentive to him, love him, dressed him in Halloween clothing, he was so happy! We have already booked another week for Bosco to go stay with his adoptive family and Auntie Samantha. I have not ever left for a vacation that I did not have a slight worry about the dogs. I had not one minute of concern for 6 days. Bosco may have to go over for play dates from time to time!! So very thankful, impressed and will be a returning client. Oh, Samantha gave Bosco a bath and sent him home with a Halloween bandanna. He was so handsome and smelled so good. Penny and Evan took wonderful care of my 8 year German shepherd dog. The time he spent with them was the longest we've ever boarded him, and it was very apparent that he was in great hands. I can tell they were very attentive to him. He definitely loves to be around people as often as possible and Penny and Evan are an excellent pair for him. Highly recommended!
