“Dan and his family were excellent dog sitters for our pup who stayed with them for 3 nights. She is 7 months old and this was our first time leaving her with anyone so I was very nervous. We did a meet and greet and Dan and his family made us feel comfortable right away. During her stay, he was very responsive to texts and gave multiple updates about what they did and even sent pics! They have a nice background where our girl was able to run around and play and their house is very spacious and clean. They took her on multiple long walks during her stay and when we picked her up on Sunday and brought her home I could not believe how exhausted she was! She’s a puppy with lots of energy so to see her passed out means she must’ve had a great time getting lots of attention and exercise! I definitely would not hesitate to have Dan dog sit again for us and I’m grateful to know I now have someone that she & I both trust & feel comfortable with. I was the primary caretaker for our family dog for 15 years, have worked in many animal care facilities ranging from a dog grooming boutique to the zoo! On top of my hands-on experience with dogs and cats, I have an educational background in wildlife conservation. My passion in life is to care for all animals the way they deserve to be cared for, so you can trust that I will put 110% of my love, skills, and dedication to your beloved pets. I'm always here to answer more questions if you have any! I'm excited to be a loyal caretaker to your loyal companion. I have a flexible work schedule that allows me to be home during parts of the day so you can be sure your pet will get plenty of exercise, outdoor time, and cuddles (if they like them). You should note that I also have a pet bunny and a roommate who will be sharing the responsibilities! I am happy to keep the bunny separated or if they are friendly letting them roam together. It's up to you and what you are comfortable with! We can always set up a greeting ahead of watching your pet as well. Safety is my number one priority when it comes to caring for other living creatures, so you can be sure that I will be communicative and explicit with detail about how your pet is doing along with any concerns you or I may have. I want you to be secure in knowing that your pet is in a loving and safe environment. Providing specific feeding regimens, favorite toys, and places your pet enjoys will be helpful in making sure that safe environment is all the more comfortable for them as well!
