Dogs are better than people
Recently lost my 14 year old corgi named Penny. The house feels very empty and since I’m not looking into getting a new dog I thought dog sitting would be a nice option to try. Fenced yard, hardwood floors, easily divided up rooms if needed. I work Monday - Thursday 7:30-5 but if needed would be able to come let a dog out during lunch. I love dogs and would treat any animal as if it was my own.

First off, Marissa is absolutely wonderful with dogs! I have 2 corgi's and Marissa has watched them on several different occasions while my husband and I have been out of town. My dogs can be quite challenging (do not walk well on leashes, bark at everything, and jump on people) however, Marissa is so attentive, patient, and wonderful with them. She walks them each day and gives them all the love in the world. I know that when Marissa is with them, I do not need to worry because she truly cares. She understands dog language and knows how to handle all situations that can occur. If you are looking for an amazing, trust worthy person to care for and walk your dog, I highly recommend using Marissa as she will become your pups friend for life!

Schedule
I work Monday - Thursday 7:30-5. Able to come home during lunch to let a dog out if needed. My evenings are very open and can be dedicated to the dog I am watching.

Safety, trust & environment
Fenced yard, no children or dogs in the home. There is an inground pool but dogs will be monitored. No neighbor dogs on either side to cause dog stress or barking
A typical day
My neighborhood is a great place for short or long walks. I live 2 blocks from a school with a large field to walk through. If your dog has favorite toys to play with I’m more than happy to sit on the floor and play tug.
