“Nexsy was incredible. She helped on short notice and still snuck in a meet and greet. Polite, kind, and very understanding of our dogs. She went above and beyond during the time she spent with them by doing some helpful behavioral training. We felt they were in safe and capable hands. Highly recommended!”

“Nic was great and the best sitter out of 3 that I have e used from Rover. Some of the dog sitters I've used in the past do it just for a little extra money but I feel that she truly enjoyed my dogs, sent many pictures and video's, and did very well with communication. I have rebooted with her for next week. She is a 10 allstar dog sitter!”

“Ace is great! They showed up on time. Provided pics all night. our puppy was very well cared for. Will definitely use Ace again. Thank you Ace!”

“Katie was fantastic! She came over a couple of times before staying with our cat and dog which made us feel very comfortable. Our animals loved her. Within 20 minutes of being at our house I was sent a picture of our dog giving her a big kiss. The cat who is very selective about showing himself was hanging out in the living room with her. Would highly recommend. Would definitely use her again.”

“Nala was well loved and cared for, as well as my other small critters that just needed a little checking in on. I loved seeing pictures from all of the adventures of the daily walks and felt completely comfortable with Samantha doing what she needed to do! 20 out of 10! Would highly recommend!”

“Lila was a great sitter for Minnie. My very anxious “baby” took to Lila very quickly and that is not her norm, so I felt very comfortable leaving them together. Lila communicated and kept in touch well. She was very respectful of my home and even left a cute doggie thank you note. Minnie seemed to love her and I know this because often when I get home Minnie us sitting by the door waiting. She was sleeping in the living room and much calmer than my usual returns. I recommend Lila as responsive, responsible, and respectful. Thank you!!!”

“Kaitlynn was amazing! My dogs have special needs and their care instructions are very specific. She kept their routine and did perfect! She gave my dogs much love and attention. She is the only sitter I would trust with my dogs. After I got back home, I asked one of my dogs (she uses button communication) if Kaitlynn was nice and she said yes! 🐾”

About: I have always been surrounded by pets; enjoy giving plenty of attention; and have cared for their well-being (bathing, administering medications, monitoring recuperations after illness/surgery). I work full-time (leave home at 7:30 a.m. and I am home by 4:30 p.m.) and have my evenings and weekends free. I am available for check-ins, walks, and stays. Your companion would be cared for by keeping to his/her routine/schedule, keeping them safe, following any additional instructions, and giving them lots of attention and playtime.

“Annina was amazing! She took such great care of Emma—attentive, responsible, and clearly a true animal lover. We got regular updates and photos, which gave us total peace of mind while we were away. Emma came back happy, relaxed, and clearly well-loved. Highly recommend Annina to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!”

“Donna house sat and watched Indigo (our cat 🐈⬛) for 12 days and she was absolutely wonderful, she kept us updated and sent us pictures. Indigo isn’t really a people person, but when we did the meet and greet he seemed to attach himself to her. And when Donna stayed with him it sounded like they just clicked. Donna kept the house tidied and she even shoveled the snow that we had gotten in mid April. I would highly recommend Donna to watch indigo and our house in the future. In one word she was fabulous.”

About: I will take care of your dog or cat like they are my own. I currently have an almost 3 year old Bernedoodle who I trained myself when she was a puppy. My love of animals started when I was 5 years old and I got my first dog. He came home in a shoebox and grew into 90lbs of German Shepherd that was gentle as could be with his little girl. Throughout the years I had several types of animals from hamsters to lizards I don't think I was ever without a pet! Let me be there for your pets, we will have a lot of fun! I run my own business so my hours are extremely flexible. I am able to take same day appointments with just a few hours notice if needed. This flexibility allows me to take care of puppies as well. Whether your dog is a cuddle bug or one that loves to run I am the sitter for you. I can keep them on their normal schedules while watching your dog and maybe throw in an extra walk or play time! I am great at following directions to make sure my time with them goes smoothly.

“Sarah was great housesitting for our pup and cat. We loved the photos and it was clear that our dog and cat had their playtime and cuddles and were well looked after.”

“This is the second time Chelsea has come to watch our dog goose. She sent us many pictures during her stay, and it was clear our puppy liked her. Despite being usually nervous around new people, he happily snuggled with Chelsea on the couch. We came home to a clean house, a thank you card, and homemade biscuits for Goose. If Chelsea is available, she is our number one choice for a dog sitter.”

About: I have a lot of animals myself and have grown up surrounded by them. I love taking care of them and will treat each as my own. I work a flex schedule so I’m available during the day and evenings . I can make myself available during most parts of the day to care for your pets. I can’t have more pets in my home, but I’m more than happy to spend time with animals in their home or where they feel most safe.

“Chris was awesome house and dog sitting for us. He sent us pictures to let us know our dog was in good hands. We will definitely book with Chris again!”

“Kristen was lovely. My dogs seemed very happy upon returning. Usually they get very stressed when we not here, the calmness reinforced her attentive care. Everything clean and she even washed her sheets. The pictures and updates a comfort to us. Thank you Kristen. You were wonderful.”

“Kim did a good job handling my large reactive live stock guardian dog. She was able to work around her quirks well. Azula and Kaiser love her! She is very flexible with getting to know your pets before she watches them and she sent updates both in the morning and as requested. I would recommend her for watching your pets!”

About: As a college student with a flexible schedule, I bring years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, breeds, and temperaments. While I may be new to the Rover platform and the area, I’m certainly not new to pet care. I grew up in a household with three dogs and currently help care for my family’s yorkipoo, so I’m well-versed in the daily responsibilities and emotional needs that come with pet ownership. In addition, I’ve looked after the dogs of friends and coworkers, giving me valuable experience in adapting to various routines, behavioral quirks, and care preferences. I understand that leaving your pet with someone new can be a big decision, and I take that trust seriously. Whether your dog needs gentle attention in their senior years, high-energy playtime, or just a reliable companion while you're away, I’m committed to treating your pet like family—with patience, love, and respect. I may be new to this platform, but I’m not new to providing quality, compassionate care. Pet care fits seamlessly into my weekly routine, as I am currently in graduate school and not employed, allowing me a high degree of flexibility in my schedule. I have ample availability throughout the week to dedicate to your pet’s needs, including extended care, walks, playtime, or companionship. My academic commitments are structured in a way that leaves me with large blocks of free time during both weekdays and weekends. This flexibility enables me to accommodate a variety of care schedules, including early morning or evening visits if needed. I understand the importance of consistency and engagement in pet care, and I’m committed to providing dependable, attentive, and compassionate service. Your pet’s well-being will always be my top priority while you're away. Safety and trust are my top priorities when providing drop-in visits and walks for your pet. During drop-in visits, I ensure your pet feels comfortable and cared for in their familiar environment, following your instructions for feeding, playtime, or administering medication if needed. I’m attentive to their needs, providing companionship and keeping them happy while you’re away. On walks, I prioritize your pet’s safety by using secure leashes and harnesses, sticking to familiar routes, and staying alert to any potential hazards. I tailor each walk to match your dog’s energy level, ensuring they get the right amount of exercise and mental stimulation. With my attention to detail and genuine love for animals, you can trust your pet will be in good hands during every visit or walk.

About: I have over 10 years of experience caring for my own dogs, I helped take care of my first dog when he was a senior, and I’ve been taking care of the dog I have now since he was a puppy he’s now 10. I also have 3 years of experience taking care of cats, I have one of my own and I help take care of my sisters. People who know me describe me as responsible and I’m signing up for this app because I love animals and I am trying to make a little extra money before I go to college in the fall. I am available monday - sunday at all hours of the day for whatever your pet needs. This is currently my only job and it has my full attention. I will not be able to provide boarding in my home because my dog does not get along well with other dogs, but I am available to stop in and see your pets whenever needed to feed them, take them outside, walk them, and just to play with them. I can also do overnight stays if that is what your pet requires.

“Alexa did a great job watching my dogs over the holiday’s! She gave my dogs the love and attention they needed while I was away. Alexa kept me informed and left my house in perfect condition.”

14. Ashley L.
“Ashley is a phenomenal pet-sitter. She takes wonderful care of my two cats, 5 and 3 years-old, both of whom have very distinct and somewhat fussy personalities. They also both have different dietary restrictions of which she’s always been very cognizant. My youngest cat has some temperament issues, so she does have to administer medication on the nights she’s watching him, and my older cat requires frequent teeth brushing to keep her hereditary gum disease at bay, which Ashley is also able to handle. Would definitely recommend!”
