“This was our very first time leaving our dog Scarlet with a sitter other than family and needless to say I was a bit anxious...but after our meet and great day I knew Patrick and Susan were the sitters for her! It was definitely like a home away from home feel. They had a great set-up in their home and yard for Scarlet to feel comfortable. They are very caring and went above and beyond with Scarlet. The day we were supposed to drop Scarlet off, she had developed a sore on her hind leg and Patrick and Susan were so wonderful and reassuring that they would take good care of it. We were taking a trip for a week out of the country and felt so comfortable knowing Scarlet was in great hands! All the photos, texts and updates on Scarlet were even more reassuring! We are so grateful to have found Patrick and Susan for Scarlet and definitely will be using them again! We totally recommend them!!”

About: I have done both walking and house sitting for five years, and have worked with and am comfortable handling both large and small dogs. I grew up owning dogs, including a shitzu mix, a poodle mix, and a shelter girl of unknown exact breed but some sort of terrier mix (mom was a JRT). While all but one of the dogs I have owned were under 20 pounds, most of my history in pet sitting has been with has been with dogs in the 30-70 pound range, including labs, huskies, and a pit bull mix as my most frequent clients. I have experience with owning a fear reactive dog, but my comfort with taking care of them will be on a case by case basis. I also have experience with training young dogs for crating, potty training, and leash training I am currently exclusively self employed and have a flexible schedule with my income sources, so I am available most days and times of the week At this time I am only able to provide care in my clients home, I am unable to provide boarding due to limited space in my house I will work with owners to maintain your pets normal schedule, including feeding and walks. I am comfortable crating and using alternate feeders or feeding styles as needed Dogs will never be outside unattended, and will be kept on leash or in fenced in yards unless the owner specifically requests that I do otherwise. Cats will not be taken outside for any reason unless requested by owners. All animals will receive a significant amount of play and/or pet time during each visit, assuming the animal is comfortable with and enjoying it For drop ins, I will provide at least one update per visit including pictures. For continuous house sitting, as my standard I will provide at least three updates per day (morning, mid day, and afternoon/evening) with at least one photo per update. I do not currently own a dog or cat, but I volunteer with Our Companions in their Adopt a Shelter program spending time visiting and walking dogs in local shelters, and I have volunteered at their animal sanctuary in Ashford walking dogs. I am also in their Canine College program, taking and assisting in dog training classes. About: All my life I’ve had a variety of different animals all including dogs, cats, birds, turtles, rabbits, etc. You name it, I have owned it. In some time spans all at the same time. I would love to take all this experience that I was fortunate enough to obtain throughout the years and bring it to your home! I am currently enrolled at the Western New England University. At the time being as I am on summer break I am looking for something to do to take up all this newly acquired time. As well as make some extra money to go towards my tuitions. About: I've been caring for animals since I was in elementary school, starting with my own pets and eventually helping care for the pets of family members, friends, neighbors, and coworkers. Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I truly enjoy spending time with them and building loving friendships with each one. I'm also a proud cat owner, and caring for my own cat has given me firsthand experience in providing attentive, daily care and understanding the importance of patience, consistency, and affection. I genuinely love all animals and treat every pet as if they were my own. My goal is to provide dependable, loving care and give you peace of mind knowing your furry family member is happy, safe, and well cared for. I have full time employment as a classroom teacher! I am now on summer break so I will have plenty of time to hang out and play with your pets!☺️ When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, my priority is always making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while keeping their normal routine as consistent as possible. In a client’s home, I follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special care needs. “This was our very first time leaving our dog Scarlet with a sitter other than family and needless to say I was a bit anxious...but after our meet and great day I knew Patrick and Susan were the sitters for her! It was definitely like a home away from home feel. They had a great set-up in their home and yard for Scarlet to feel comfortable. They are very caring and went above and beyond with Scarlet. The day we were supposed to drop Scarlet off, she had developed a sore on her hind leg and Patrick and Susan were so wonderful and reassuring that they would take good care of it. We were taking a trip for a week out of the country and felt so comfortable knowing Scarlet was in great hands! All the photos, texts and updates on Scarlet were even more reassuring! We are so grateful to have found Patrick and Susan for Scarlet and definitely will be using them again! We totally recommend them!!”

I have a 14 yr. old and 5 yr. old labradoodle. We would not hesitate to use her again. She repeatedly sent us pictures of how they were doing, which is comforting as it was their first visit with her. We did a meet and greet beforehand which was also very reassuring!”
“This was the first time we left Nila, our 1.5 yrs goldendoodle in the care of Steve and Debbie for 3 weeks, it was overall a great experience. Our puppy fell ill the first week, Debbie and Steve took good care of her, they were updating the status everyday with pictures which gave us some relief during our travel. Nila had a good time with their dogs during her stay. They are good people took good care of Nila and I will certainly leave Nila with them for all our future vacations. Thank you once again.”
