About: I worked as a lead kennel attendant for nearly three years before moving to Springfield, and I can tell you there is a huge difference between boarding with a family rather than a facility. Now don't get me wrong, I absolutely loved my job taking care of other people's pets, but I always wished there was something more I could do to comfort pets who were stressed or overworked by all the commotion. The large volume of pets and and tight schedules often left minimal to no time for cuddles, and only a couple potty breaks a day. This structure often separated families, especially those with cats and dogs, as they were kept in different buildings. By boarding in my own home, I am striving to provide a calm environment where your pets can be able to relax and feel comfortable. Unlike typical boarding facilities that are only open for 12 hours, your pet will be able to have someone there with them 24/7 to comfort and monitor them. Families of pets will also be able to be kept together, and roam the house as they normally would at home. I would be more than happy to welcome your pets into my home, so you can leave them knowing they are in good hands. Photo, video, and text updates can be requested at any time during the day to keep you updated on how your pet is doing. I also offer free optional baths at the end of their stay to wash any dirt from their adventures away! I would love to be your pets home away from home and spoil them with attention, play, and cuddles while you are away. ❤️ I do pet care along side my other businesses at home. I will sometimes go out to DoorDash around lunch and dinner time for just a couple hours at a time. Otherwise I will be at the house. I try to follow the owners regular routine to the best of my ability. If you have specific feeding, walk, kennel times, or other routines you would like to keep in place please let me know! Otherwise I work with your pet, offering potty breaks whenever needed, two feedings a day, large walks 1-2 times a day, unlimited water, and bed time the same as however you would do it at home. All walks must be leashed as I do not have a fenced in yard. The neighborhood has large open streets and side walks, with a large park only a 5 minute walk away.

About: Hello! I’m Mariah, and I have a dog (Salem) and three cats, Wren, Luke and Dorian. I have a strong love/passion for animals. My animals are like my children! We go out on walks, go for car rides, play with toys, play in the backyard and snuggle! They love to play with other dogs and cats. They are very gentle. Wren, likes to hide, and come out for food and cuddles in the evenings. He gets along with other animals, it just takes him some time to warm up. Luke and Dorian are both very social and love to play! I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals. I grew up on a small farm. We had horses, goats, pigs, and chickens. We also had many dogs and cats that I cared for. I am a former Animal Control Officer and have worked for another pet-sitting company. I have been trained to recognize different behaviors in dogs, administer medications to both dogs and cats, and will be pet first aid certified. I promise to treat your pets like their royalty and treat them as if they were my own. I look forward to having your fur baby stay with us! I currently work a full-time job however, I am only 13 minutes between work and home. I come home for an hour to let my babies out during the week. I am home on the weekends. If I am away, it is just for a few hours at a time. We like to play in the backyard and go on walks around the block. I can work around whatever schedule you and your babies needs! Additionally, I live on the same block as the Emergency Vet Clinic, which is about a 1 minute's drive. I am in the process of becoming Pet CPR and First Aid certified. For Drop in visits, dog walking I only service Springfield. I care for my babies throughout the day. In the mornings when we get up, they go outside and eat, and throughout the day around every 2 to 4 hours, I let them outside to go get some exercise. for about 30 minutes, they eat again around 5 PM. If I am away, it is just for a few hours at a time. We like to play in the backyard and go on walks around the block. If you message me before 7:30am and after 8pm I will respond when I am able to. I can work around whatever schedule you and your babies needs! Additionally, I live on the same block as the Emergency Vet Clinic, which is about a 1 minute's drive. About: My dogs and I have been through AKC certified obedience training I'm experienced in walking multiple dogs at a time Can housesit and care for dogs with special needs Providing positive reinforcement and tasty bribes is my main method of gaining trust with a new dog friend. I'm open to meeting and discussing all forms of service ahead of time I have a flexible part time job that is generally from 9 - 4 Monday through Friday. These times are flexible so if you have a question about a particular day feel free to ask My 2 dogs and I walk almost everyday around our neighborhood just to get some adventure and smell some new fire hydrants. My house has a wood 6' privacy fence around the backyard and I have time to them out 5 or 6 times a day for bathroom breaks or to just run around an play. My dogs started being crate trained as a puppy but as they have grown older and more trusty we use them less and less. I use a lot of positive reinforcement and treat training to bond and build rapport. I feel comfortable around dogs of all shapes and sizes and would prefer to take care of new dogs in their home environment first. My dogs: I have a 6 year old 60lb female Portuguese water dog -- She's a big napper, cuddler and loves cats. My 3 year old, 30lb, male terrier mix is the feisty play pal that keeps everyone entertained.

About: I’m really good with being patient and understanding with animals. I’ve had many difficulty animals and so I’ve learned to cater towards their needs. No animal is too difficult I’m currently in college so I would have to wait after classes or before classes. Most days I’m done with school at 12pm and I don’t have classes on Fridays. Unfortunately because I am living in a dorm therefore I cannot take care of pets in my home. Over breaks however, I have a fence.

About: My neighbors and friends of family have depended on my rapport with their pets and punctuality. I'm looking forward to meeting your four-legged fur baby! I'm currently working part time, so I'll have plenty of time to play and get to know your fur babies. Very dog friendly and I'm not too bad with cats either! my dog has an invisible fence that works very well which I highly recommend. we feed him his favorite dog food twice a day with honey!
