About: I've had a dog since I was born, have lots of experience with walking, dogs of all ages, playing, etc. Happy to learn any new things as they might be necesssary! About: I grew up with blue herlers and now have a Chihuahua named Bentley, Golden Doodle named Nash, and a Kitten named Prada! About: Although I don't have a dog of my own, pets have always been a part of my life! My childhood best friend has two golden retrievers, so growing up we spent countless hours taking them out for playtime and keeping them occupied. My sister adopted an adorable golden doodle two summers ago, and our house is like his second home because of how often he loves to visit. About: Hello and welcome to our little side of dog paradise! I will need a meet and greet before I can commit to any extent of stay. All dogs must be current on shots and show no symptoms of infection or intestinal issues. Charlie, my last dog was a dachshund, she was not a good social fit for most dogs and we were very limited in taking her or leaving her with anybody. I loved her dearly but she was a total pill! Dottie our new cattle dog mix is just wonderful with other dogs, and because she loves to play...here we are on this site! Dottie is such a great host to all dogs in our house I thought why not? I work from home and also have times where I need to be gone but never for more than 3 hours at a time. I will never book if I am too busy to be a good dog parent. That is a promise. I have a flexible schedule that I am in charge of at all times. I would like to see a complete profile with photos to consider a booking. I am not looking to make this my primary business and only want to cater to the right pets that fit our life. I am not a dog trainer but do love them dearly when they are in my care. A good fit for us is a typical fun loving dog that likes everybody and wants to play and walk. I do believe another good fit would be the super lazy or old pet that just likes to lay around or be petted. I am all about them. They need to be house trained crate trained is a plus. I can’t take any aggressive tendencies toward kids, cats or other dogs. I would also like to avoid dogs that have intense anxiety or tend to be destructive. I Have a nice house in an awesome south east Springfield neighborhood, It comes with a wood 6ft privacy fence. I have a 9 year old kid who loves pets as well. We have Felix, a 3 year old male tabby who comes in and out on his own free will at all times of the day. He is indifferent to dogs, doesn't want to hang out with them but not going to bite or attack anybody. He is a good boy. Dottie is our new adopted dog. We got her from care rescue shelter in August 2025 to foster and eventually sealed the deal for keeps. She is a lovely little creature that loves to play and run around the backyard with her other dog buddies. Dottie has a crate and we still use it at times but she is pretty well allowed to roam around. She is crate trained and potty trained. Basically I am pretty easy dog mamma. If they need rest, they get it. If they want to play and run they can. They come in and out when they want. That's how we roll at our house.
