“Great GREat GREAT service and care for our dogs! We were nervous about leaving our elderly dachshund with Brooke along with our puppy (we have previously used Brooke for daycare for our puppy and had a Super Positive experience), but, because our older dog is such a cranky fella and doesn't do well outside our home, we were hesitant to leave him anywhere. After deciding to try it, as Brooke was so amazing with our puppy for daycare, we were not disappointed. She went above and beyond to make him (and the puppy) feel comfortable while we were away. We received daily updates, photos, or videos. Don't hesitate to book Brooke - she provides wonderful service. We will definitely use again.”

“Amanda was fantastic - she was very communicative and sent me daily updates, pictures, and adorable videos of my pup!! It was so comforting having regular updates and seeing my gal so happy and well taken care of. Highly recommend!”

“Bogey and Birdie made themselves right at home at Gretchen’s. We can tell they got lots of TLC from her entire family. Communication was great and we received fun pictures and updates.”

“Emma was fantastic with our pups! She sent us lots of “pupdates” with pics. Took the girls on several walks, on outings to the park and even tried to teach them tricks. She went above and beyond with everything. I couldn’t have asked for a better first time Rover experience.”

“Ashlyn and her pets were fantastic with my sometimes-reactive dog. She listened to my cautious instructions and made sure my dog had a warm start-up to his week-long stay. Thank you!! Will be returning in the future :).”

“Jennifer and her family were amazing and took excellent care of our puppy! When we came to get our dog, she was having so much fun she didn’t even want to come back with us!”
“Kaitlin did a wonderful job watching our miniature Schnauzer, Chet, during our four day getaway. Her home has a wonderful, homey feeling that you notice the second you walk through the door. Chet loved the large fenced yard, playing with the family's black pug and playing with anyone else in the house who could. After picking Chet up, I found him to be chill, relaxed and happy. (Unlike the time I made the mistake of placing him in a kennel for a few days... that was a disaster.) I will definitely use Kaitlins services again should the need arise. Thanks Kaitlin and thanks to your wonderful family!”

“Anne watched my dog over a recent weekend, and I couldn’t have been happier with the experience. My dog can be a bit timid and struggles with some separation anxiety, but Anne was wonderful with her. She kept me updated with pictures and videos showing my dog calm, comfortable, and getting along beautifully. It gave me a lot of peace of mind, and I would absolutely feel comfortable leaving my dog with Anne again anytime.”

“Ashley was just absolutely amazing! If I could give her 10 stars, I 100% would! She really went above and beyond taking care of our girl! We really enjoyed the consistent check-ins and pictures and appreciate the extra time she took to let us know how Harley was doing while we were away! I was so thrilled that she actually seemed to take the time to get to know our fur baby and treated her like one of her own! This was our first time boarding Harley, but Ashley made it so smooth and stress-free! Would definitely recommend and will be booking with her again in the future!”

“Ashleigh was great with all aspects of our dog's stay. Great communication before and during the stay along with pictures of how our dog was doing. Lucy was comfortable with Ashleigh and her home, and we look forward to using her again!”

“Payten is sweet, easy to work with and she is in a convenient location. Jovie was her normal self the next day rather than needing extra rest, which tells me it was a very good stay. Payten also sent me several pictures that told the story of how she was doing, but did not overwhelm me. I would be happy to use her services again.”

About: I have cared for pets all my life. I have always had a dog or 2 in my house that are spoiled and had me well trained. I owned a dog boarding, daycare, and grooming business in Ozark for 8 years.. I retired about four years ago. Since I am retired, I am home most of the day, except for a few errands to run occasionally. I live alone with two senior dogs who get along with most other animals. There are no children in the house. My home is all one level, with a fully fenced backyard. Fur babies cared for in my home have free run of the house, are allowed to be on the furniture, (unless the owner request differently). I am capable of crating your loved one if they are already crate trained… Your fur babies will get lots of love and ear scratches. I’m experienced in various diets and food prep along with medication’s, including injections.
“You know you’ve found a great sitter when your dog runs happily up to the door and into the house! No guilt or worry for us, we know he’s in the best hands with Gerrad!”

“This was the first time using Rover and leaving our pup. After a meet n greet with Molli and her daughter, we were able to get our questions answered. We noticed Molli's calm tone and temperament which helped ease our minds. We liked that Molli only watched one pet at a time and would allow Ozzy to sleep on the furniture. We knew her daughter was excited to help out which meant even more attention and playtime for our sweet Ozzy. There were lots of photos and messages sent keeping us updated throughout the week. Everything about this process went smoothly. We will absolutely use Molli again!!”

“Raelynn was the sweetest and took excellent care of our two senior rottweilers. We were sent an update daily along with pics and could tell they were having a good time with her. Would recommend again and again!”

“Nella is a very good 'Caregiver' & welcomed my dog/Bella w/open arms. Bella loved playing w/Her dog & running around endlessly outside. Nellas' property is in a rural community just N of Springfield proper & appeared to be relaxing when dropping Bella off. Nella was attentive & gave me regular text updates re: eating habits & activity level during Bellas' stay. I appreciated that & was able to enjoy my Trip bc of Her open communication. I will definitely contact Nella in the future, when I go out of town/state ~”

Many sitters in MO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
