“Emma was fantastic with our pups! She sent us lots of “pupdates” with pics. Took the girls on several walks, on outings to the park and even tried to teach them tricks. She went above and beyond with everything. I couldn’t have asked for a better first time Rover experience.”

“Sammy is a high energy boy but Amanda and her family embrace his puppy side and take great care of him. I am super confident he is well loved when he is in her care.”

“Kaitlin was especially communicative via txt during the whole process of setting up Maddy’s one night boarding. I felt totally confident on leaving and at pick up that Maddy was in good hands. I would not hesitate to use Kaitlin’s pet service again. She was accommodating about my short notice, rescheduling the right day, pick up and drop off times and dealt without complaint when Maddy reverted during her stay to an incident of nervous tinkles. Couldn’t be happier.”

“Our dog had a great time playing with Megan’s dogs and staying with her. When we came to pick him up, he didn’t even want to leave! She was sensitive to the fact that he is older and took good care of him. We are thankful to find her and her husband!”

“Gerrad was wonderful and took amazing care of our boys. He took care of them like if they were his own. The boys enjoyed their time there and we look forward to next time.”

“Mikala was absolutely amazing! She took such great care of Remy and treated her like part of the family. She sent lots of pictures and updates throughout the stay, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was clear Remy was happy and comfortable. Mikala was also incredibly flexible and understanding when my drop-off plans changed multiple times, and her communication was excellent from start to finish. She even reached out after I picked Remy up because she found one of Remy’s bowls and offered to ship it back to me. That level of thoughtfulness really meant a lot. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter, and I would absolutely trust Mikala with Remy again. Highly recommend!”

“Molly and her sweet daughter were wonderful with our corgis while they stayed with them for a week. We were at first a bit hesitant to leave them with someone we did not know since it was our first time. However, our dogs immediately warmed up to them upon meeting for the first time prior to booking. Molly communicated well and provided us with updates or any concerns or questions she had. We received cute photos of them playing in the yard and going for a pup cup. Our dogs appeared happy and well cared for upon pick up. We'd happily have Molly care for them again.”

“It is so nice to be able to leave Major (7 month old pup) in a safe place knowing that he is happy, running and playing with the other dogs. While also learning to be around small children. Mickayla is wonderful and incredibly kind and gracious.”

“Moose had a great time, again. I’m so thankful for the way Nicholas takes care of Moose and the nice things he says about Moose while he is visiting. I’m also glad that Moose has other dogs to play with while he is there.”

“they took the best care of my cats for a few days. they sent plenty of photos every day, they kept to their feeding schedule exactly, and there was someone in the home with them nearly 24hrs. i'll definitely be a lifelong customer.”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better couple to watch our Molly! From the moment we dropped her off, we could tell she was in amazing hands. They were so attentive, caring, and genuinely engaged with her—even at 3 AM when Molly decided it was the perfect time to discover a squeaky toy! 😂 The updates and videos were absolutely amazing and gave us such peace of mind while we were away. They kept us in the loop, and their communication was wonderful. They especially helped calm my husband’s nerves about leaving Molly, which meant so much to us! It was also such a sweet bonus that our kids had a great time too. They loved the beautiful fish pond and had so much fun collecting little rock treasures from the yard. 🥰 It truly felt like Molly was staying with family rather than just being boarded. We are so grateful for the love, attention, and care they gave her. We would absolutely recommend them and will definitely be booking with them again! ❤️🐾”

“Cortney and her family are amazing and took wonderful care of Ri! There was great communication including messages, photos and videos. Ri was happy with his stay and to meet his new friends!”

About: Combining my years of pet experience with my current flexibility as a stay-at-home wife allows me to provide an incredibly attentive, safe, and loving environment for your dog. As a stay-at-home wife, my schedule is incredibly flexible, so pet care fits perfectly into my daily life. Since I manage our household from home, I don't have a rigid 9-to-5 commute. This means your pet becomes a natural part of my day. I structure my routine around their needs—whether that’s morning walks, mid-day playtime in the yard, or just having them keep me company while I’m taking care of things around the house. They are rarely left alone and get consistent attention throughout the day I treat every furry friend exactly like my own They have full access to our main living spaces, plenty of comfortable spots to lounge, and they are never left unattended for long periods. I stick closely to whatever feeding, medication, and bathroom schedule they are used to at home so their routine stays completely normal. You can trust they are good hands.
“Mariah is awesome! One of my dogs is slower to become comfortable around new people. Mariah was patient and understanding and was able to get this dog to feel comfortable in a short amount of time. My other dog loves everyone and Mariah was no exception. The updates from Mariah were awesome too. Enough for me to be comfortable with their care and well being, but not so many that I wasn’t able to enjoy my mini vacation. Based on the pictures, I think my girls had a great time. I recommend Mariah and plan to book with her again.”

About: I’ve been around pets my whole life and enjoy spoiling them. I have two dogs and a chinchilla. We also have a cat that we introduced to the home about 2 months ago. When I’m not working, I love playing, cuddling, and making sure they feel loved and spoiled. I would love the opportunity to welcome your pups into our home, give them lots of attention, and make them feel like part of the family. We have a large, fenced-in backyard where dogs have plenty of space to run, play, and explore. The yard is enclosed with a 5-foot chain-link fence to help keep everyone safe, including our dog Pepper, who loves to jump. We’re located in a quiet subdivision outside of town, away from busy highways, allowing us to provide a peaceful and secure environment for your pups to enjoy.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
