About: I’ve cared for and trained my own dogs over the years, so I understand how important it is to have someone you can trust with your furry family member. I’m home throughout the day, which means your pup will get plenty of attention, frequent potty breaks, playtime, and daily walks. I’m happy to follow your dog’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, medications, crate routines, and any house rules you use at home. My goal is to make their stay feel comfortable, safe, and as much like home as possible! I’m a stay-at-home mom, so I’m able to spend lots of time with the dogs in my care rather than leaving them alone for long periods. We have a fenced yard for supervised play and potty breaks, and I can provide at least one walk each day along with plenty of playtime and attention. I know leaving your dog with someone new can be nerve-racking, especially the first time, so I’m also happy to send pictures and updates throughout their stay. ❤️ Every dog is different, and I’m happy to learn their routine, personality, favorite things, and little quirks so they can feel right at home while they’re here. I have a fenced yard and will play in the yard with them. I will do prioritize comfort and brain stimulation by allowing for a lot of playtime and walks if your dog allows.

About: I’ve been dog sitting for four years now watching my sister‘s dogs and my neighbors dogs and my dad‘s friends dogs for a long time now and I’ve grown to love it so I thought it would be nice to be able to help other people as well!! I’ve been babysitting for the last two years for two year-old. I started babysitting her when she was two months old, but I only babysit her 1 to 2 days a week so I’m free quite a lot. I have a big fenced in backyard and a lot of free space in my house. I live on a farm, so I’m pretty educated when it comes to animals and I worked at a vet clinic for two years!!

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats since I was a child. They are not like family, they are family. Many friends and relatives have entrusted me to care for their pets for short and long stays at my home where they receive love, attention, play, and care. When caring for your pets, they will not be alone for more than 4 hours at a time during the weekday. Evenings and weeknights they will not be alone for more than an hour at a time. I have a large fenced yard and close access to a public park for walks. I enjoy playing with animals and giving them attention and care.

About: I have had pets my entire life. Since moving to Springfield, I have helped multiple friends take care of their pets while they have traveled. I have experience with kittens and puppies all the way up to Great Danes. I currently have two pit bulls, a shiba inu and a ball python at home. Every pet and every home is different. You can trust that I will handle instructions exactly. I approach every animal slowly and with the respect they deserve. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, and I enjoy making time for animals throughout the day. I’m able to work pet visits, walks, playtime, and check-ins into my schedule while giving each pet the individual attention they deserve. I focus on keeping them comfortable and maintaining their normal routine as much as possible. I follow each owner’s instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, playtime, and any special needs. I also make sure they receive plenty of attention, affection, and enrichment while I’m there.

About: Hi! I’m Kassidy! 🐾 I’ve loved animals my entire life, and if I could have a dog farm, I absolutely would! I have experience caring for dogs, cats, and even farm animals for family and friends. I have two dogs of my own—a German Shepherd and a Miniature Poodle—so I understand how important it is to find someone you can genuinely trust with your pets. They’re family, and I treat every pet in my care the same way. ❤️ Whether your dog needs a walk, some playtime, companionship, or simply someone to stop by and make sure they’re happy and comfortable, I’m here to give them loving, attentive care. Currently my availability is mostly on weekends but I do still have time after 3:30 to help your pup get the exercise they need! Holidays are free unless otherwise noted! My calendar is updated daily! Every pet is different, so I like to follow their normal routine as closely as possible. Depending on your pet’s needs, our time together may include walks, playtime, enrichment activities, potty breaks, feeding, fresh water, and plenty of attention and cuddles. I especially love keeping active dogs busy with walks and mental stimulation! I’ll also send updates and photos so you can relax knowing your furry family member is doing well. ❤️

I love animals and love exercise so it's a perfect fit. I have a part time job I have to work around. but there's usually a few hours a day I can take care of your best friends. I don't offer a pet sitting service.But I would happily visit your home, take your animal on a walk and feed them, give them water, and make sure they are as comfortable as possible.

FAQs for Pet Sitting - Linden

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost of Pet Sitting in Linden is $22 per visit as of November 2026. Most bookings cost between $22 and $22 per visit. On Rover, sitters set their own rates based on factors such as their experience, the length of care, the number of pets, and your pet’s specific needs. As long as your booking dates and pet profiles are accurate, the price shown before you confirm is the total, including any booking fee.

As of November 2026, there are 441 sitters on Rover offering Pet Sitting across Linden. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.

Before booking, confirm:

  • the timing, length, and frequency of visits;
  • the care instructions the sitter should follow;
  • which parts of your pet’s usual routine should be prioritized;
  • how often you would like to receive messages, photos, or other updates.

Not every sitter offers the same services, availability, or booking options. Review their profile and discuss the care you need through Rover before booking each service.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Linden. On Rover:

  • 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 95% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.

During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.

sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.

Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
