About: I have a life of experience caring for animals including dogs, cats, newborn pups and kittens, a chinchilla, chickens, and geese! I look forward to taking care of yours! I have the summer off from teaching, so I am pretty flexible from June through August. Then my schedule is limited to weekends and breaks. I regularly keep my calendar updated! I'm available to feed and play with your furry loved ones! I'm comfortable administering any medicine they may need as well. I've got it, no sweat!

About: I have taken care of dogs of all sizes small to extra large as well as cats and even some exotic pets. I have been the go to sitter for my friends and family every time they go on vacation. I love caring for animals and can’t wait to help you with yours. I am experienced with animals- puppies to elderly dogs, kittens to elderly cats. I homeschool my kids so I have a very flexible schedule and can work with what you need. I mostly have open afternoons and Friday through the weekend. While I’m taking care of your pet I will do all I can to assure they are taken care of physically as well as emotionally offering love, play and exercise, whatever it is they need that day. Every pet is different and I will work with you to ensure they are getting what they need from me, walks, pets or play.

About: Caring for people and pets comes naturally to me. I worked in nursing for several years before leaving to care for my father full time. Between that and being a mom giving love and care comes easy. Sadly, now my father is no longer in my home. His care was too much for an in home setting, but we still visit and he shows my dogs off to everyone in his building. I find myself with time to spare and I know it's hard to get the minutes is for our 4 legged friends during busy weeks so why not let me take some of the burden from your schedule ? I have 2 dogs of my own, both of which are friendly and love a bit of play time. I am a big believer in fresh air and exercise. Let's get those steps in for your 4 legged family member. Cats are welcome too, we have plenty of treats and love to share. I don't work a regular job, I have recently moved my elderly father to a care facility, and I am taking classes to become a certified dog trainer in the hopes of making this my fulltime gig. I am available for walking and/or drop in visits at a moments notice a lot of the time. So let's get this thing started! For walking: usually I do a meet and greet with pet parents before we actually book services. Just to make sure your furry family member and I are fast friends, and also so you can show me how you care for your pet. I like to keep with the same que words and knowing where the leash and stuff is makes getting out of the house so much easier! I do keep a few different leashes and simple harnesses in my vehicle as well just in case it is ever needed. For drop in visits: I like to pop in with big excitement and spend a few minutes with your pet just simply petting and being social. After all drop ins are usually because a pet is in the home alone for an extended period, so we meet the social need first. Then I like to tackle the need to stuff, like feeding, or medication, or whatever the tasks may be, I finish out the visit with cleaning up any supplies, or food dishes, and a quick bit of play just for fun. Ending with a double check of the pet, the tasks, and bid goodbye, check that I leave the home secure and let you know how things went, then I'm off. For Stays: combination of both those with a rinse and repeat action and some added lounging and cuddle time if applicable. With stays I do walk (assuming it's a dog or more) at least once a day but usually more.

About: I have been working with dogs for years in daycare and shelter settings. I have managed play groups of up to 80 dogs, handled dog breeds of all sizes and ages, managed feeding schedules and medication administration, etc. I’m a college student with a pretty flexible schedule!! I would love to care for your pets, or even just take them on a walk :) House sitting and dog sitting go hand in hand - I will care for your home and for your pup all in one. Leave as many instructions as makes you comfortable!!

About: Hello! I am an avid dog and cat lover. I often watch my family and friends pets but aside from that I managed a cageless doggy daycare for 3 years. I own two senior cats myself. I am attentive and flexible. Always available to do meet and greet in person or over the phone prior to my services <3 helps me and your animals get an acquainted! Let me put your mind at ease and show you why your pets will be in great hands. I currently have a 16-year-old Pitbull, Buddy, a 3-year-old Shiba Inu, Nala May, and an 8-year-old cat, Bean. They are my world! I’ve cared for Buddy since he was just one year old—though sometimes it feels like he’s taken care of me. Over the years, he’s given me not only a deep love for animals but also firsthand experience in caring for pets as they age and require extra patience and attention. I’ve had Nala May since she was four months old, and I continue to train and socialize her daily. She keeps me active and always learning. I adopted Bean from a cat café in West Des Moines when she was two, and she’s been my independent, outspoken girl ever since. She’s taught me how important it is to respect each pet’s unique personality. Whether your pet needs a slow, gentle walk, a high-energy run, or simply a warm lap to relax on, I’m happy to provide exactly what they need. My professional experience started at a dog boarding and daycare facility, where I worked hands-on in play yards and learned how to read and understand dog behavior. Within a year, I advanced to an Assistant Manager position and became certified in dog and cat CPR. During my time there, I cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. Currently, I work at a veterinary and rehabilitation clinic Monday, Wednesday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with a hour break in the afternoon. I have had hands on experience with puppies and seniors. I do prefer to have dogs harnessed on walks to ensure their safety. I will give your pets my full undivided attention. About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 15 years old when I adopted my first dog Fez while working at the local animal shelter. I've also worked at the Louisiana SPCA for a year where I spent a lot of time getting to know all the different times of breeds and temperaments of both dogs and cats. I'd be happy to take care of your furry family member. My schedule is flexible. I can work with you to find the best time to take care of your fur baby. I'm even available for same day appointments. I would take great care of your fur baby with my undivided attention. I'd make sure they'd have all the time they need outdoors plus extra enrichments indoors during my visit or stay.

About: I have had dogs since I was but 8 years old and cared for them ever since. I have babysat friends’ dogs and take care of my own puppy daily, in addition to pet sitting for cats. I absolutely love animals and spending time around them. I am currently a full time online student at DMACC and nanny after school, with full weekend and daytime availability. Thus, I will usually have more than enough time to care for pets! I have my own puppy who is two, Nova, who loves other dogs, if you have a dog who does well with others, as well as access to a dog park. I am also comfortable taking care of pets in your home!

About: I am a veterinary student at ISU with experience pet sitting, caring for shelter animals, and clinical care. I am comfortable caring for pets with special diets and administration of oral medicine. I have experience with puppies and senior dogs, and I have flexibility in caring for pets of varying activity levels. I can't wait to meet your fur baby! I have school on weekdays, but I'm available for walks during the lunch hours from 11am - 1pm. I'm also available after 5pm Monday - Friday and have full availability on weekends. Your pet's comfort is my number one concern so I have no problem coming to you or taking your pet to their favorite park. I'm comfortable walking larger dogs that pull the leash and explore or older dogs with limited mobility. My dog has a vestibular issue, so I'm experienced lifting pets to help them up and down stairs and getting into cars. I'm also experienced giving oral medication, clipping/shaving nails, and bathing.
