About: Hi! I’m a reliable and patient pet sitter with experience caring for cats with a wide range of personalities..from super social and playful to more independent or shy. I understand that cats thrive on routine and a calm environment, so I always take the time to learn their habits, preferences, and boundaries. Whether your cat loves attention or prefers their space, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I’m experienced with: • Feeding routines and fresh water care • Litter box cleaning and maintenance • Playtime and enrichment • Giving space to more reserved or anxious cats • Monitoring behavior and overall well-being I’m very detail-oriented and will make sure everything is done exactly how you prefer. I do work full-time as an accountant, but my schedule is very flexible in how I structure my days around watching and caring your animals and their needs! I have a fenced in backyard where my dogs can play and relax without the worry of a leash or harness, and they have free roam of my home

About: I grew up around dogs & cats of all kinds! I have been a solo pet owner for 8+ years & have 2 dogs, a cat, and 2 birds in my home. I am able to care for reactive dogs, diabetic cats/dogs, and know how to operate an E/Collar. I work for Rover because being around animals is a passion of mine & I am always open to helping out! I have flexible hours during my work week (between 7AM-11AM and 2PM-9PM specifically) and I am available on weekends! Anytime after 6pm, I can be there for your pets. I live in a central enough location, so travel to different parts of the metro easy! If I come to your home to care for your pets, I am an avid runner & am sure to get those pups out & active. I am comfortable using treats as incentive & have worked with my own dog through reactivity, so ensuring your pet feels safe is important to me! If your pet stays in my home, I live close to Gray's Lake & Waterworks Park.. making it easy for us to get out and explore. For cats that may come stay with me, we've got large windows & a cat hammock for lounging!

About: I've had dogs and cats for most of my life that are treated as family. Buster, my 16 year old Border Collie mix, recently passed. My family consists of several grand puppies who come for visits. I am retired and have a very flexible schedule. I am home most days all day long, with occasional appointments. About: Hello! My name is Sammie and I’m a recently retired college athlete and nursing student. I’ve had three dogs in my lifetime so far with many more to come. I am 22 years old and a New Nurse. Im also a huge animal lover and obsessed with every furry friend. I had two beagles growing up… and now I have a six year-old sassy, husky named Skye… we rescued Skye a little over 6 years ago when she was 1 year old. We take her on three walks a day, short car rides, dog park trips, and we give her plenty of playtime. She has a few different husky friends in the neighborhood. Although she’s a little crazy, she’s my best friend. I recently moved to Des Moines, IA from Massachusetts and I’m excited to get started helping other families with fur babies. Every morning and every evening I walk my husky. We play with her throughout the day depending on who is around in the family. She gets weekly dog park trips as well and hangs out with her friends in the neighborhood. Plenty of playtime, cuddles and walks. I know my dog loves to take long walks in the neighborhood, play fetch with her ball and snuggle on the couch when she’s tired.

About: I have lots of experience working with dogs with Thyroid disorders, joint problems, hip problems, diabetes, and special diets. I'm very flexible. All you have to do is ask and we'll see. I've had Chocolate Labs, Chesapeake Bay Retrievers, Poodles, Terriers, and Shih Tzus. I love animals especially puppies and dogs. I am also willing to watch your cats if you also have them. I wanted to be a veterinarian or veterinary assistant but I didn't quite have the grades for it so that's why I decided to become a dog sitter, a dog walker, pet care taker, dog lover, and pet lover. I will take the best care of your pet and love it like my very own. Hope to hear from you soon. I'm available for house sitting on weekends and some week nights just ask me. Availability for pet care all week depending on the hours needed. I always accompany pets when they are outside even in a fenced in yard. I take short or long walks depending on what is requested.

I’ve had experience with special needs dogs that can’t be around other dogs as well. I’m a stay at home mom so I’m home all day and almost always available. I can take your dog potty as much as necessary and provide special care if instructed. Furthermore, I can stay with them all day and provide love, attention, and lots of treats! I can also help reinforce good behaviors if you’d like! I have two friendly dogs that are great with kids and other dogs. They are well behaved and can safely socialize with your fur baby. About: I am a veterinary student at ISU with experience pet sitting, caring for shelter animals, and clinical care. I am comfortable caring for pets with special diets and administration of oral medicine. I have experience with puppies and senior dogs, and I have flexibility in caring for pets of varying activity levels. I can't wait to meet your fur baby! I have school on weekdays, but I'm available for walks during the lunch hours from 11am - 1pm. I'm also available after 5pm Monday - Friday and have full availability on weekends. Your pet's comfort is my number one concern so I have no problem coming to you or taking your pet to their favorite park. I'm comfortable walking larger dogs that pull the leash and explore or older dogs with limited mobility. My dog has a vestibular issue, so I'm experienced lifting pets to help them up and down stairs and getting into cars. I'm also experienced giving oral medication, clipping/shaving nails, and bathing.
