About: Throughout high school and my first two years at college, I've consistently had the opportunity to dog sit for coworkers, friends, family, or people who knew me from a friend! I'm used to taking dogs on walks and caring for them in their homes. I currently don't have a pet of my own so it's always nice to hang out with other people's pets! I will be a student at Iowa State University this fall. I want to be able to get out and hang with your pet or take them for a walk! It'll be the perfect break from studying and any stress. My schedule at ISU is pretty flexible for anyone's pet needing care in the early morning, evening, or nighttime! I take extra precaution when I meet new pets to try and figure out and understand their nature and what's normal for them. I always ensure that every instruction from the owner is noted and followed. I love to form connections to new pets and watch them get comfortable around me or even become more and more excited to see me! I will only be able to visit the client's home as my apartment does not allow pets.

About: I've had dogs and cats for most of my life that are treated as family. Buster, my 16 year old Border Collie mix, recently passed. My family consists of several grand puppies who come for visits. I am retired and have a very flexible schedule. I am home most days all day long, with occasional appointments. Outside breaks are offered in the morning, afternoon, early evening and evening. Breaks are typically 15-20 minutes or more but also dependent on weather. Feeding schedule can be 1-3 times a day. I have a six foot privacy fence and latched gates. All doors are locked when I'm away from home and at night. We're in the country away from any busy roads.
