About: I have worked in vet clinics for 6 years caring for dogs and cats of all ages and medical histories. I also worked in wildlife rehabilitation for nearly 3 years wrangling just about any animal you can think of. After working with wild animals, caring for your rambunctious pup is no problem. I am also an ideal caretaker for any senior or disabled pets requiring complex medical care. I have a wide range of experience from administering medications to splinting broken bones and managing large wounds. I have full availability and I am able to provide pet care services any day or time; of course, depending on my other current Rover bookings. Reading body language is a key to pet and human safety, but even some situations are best avoid altogether. I do not allow leashed greetings nor will I take your dog to a dog park or area with un-leashed dogs.

“Thank you so much!!”

About: I have taken care of my own and other's cats and dogs for years, from feeding, to exercising and of course plenty of clean up occasions. Not only have I managed a family home with both cats and dogs, but I also showed one of my dogs for AKC confirmation and graduated with another one of my dogs from obedience classes. I bottle fed two of my cats when they were infants and have cared for both cats and dogs into their senior, twilight years. I even cared for one of my senior dogs after she became deaf and blind. Just recently I helped usher my beloved 15-year-old cat across the rainbow. She was the last of my own pets. I have experience with dispensing oral medications to cats and dogs, and with very young pets as well as aging ones. In my professional life I was very organized, detailed oriented and practiced great communication skills. I will bring all this experience to the care and feeding of your beloved animals. I've experienced so much with my own and other folks’ pets, but now my two dogs and two-cat-household is feeling a little empty. So please let me offer my heart and hands to care for your dear fur babies. I am recently retired and have some on-going activities and appointments, but I also have quite a bit of freedom to determine my own schedule and be flexible. I have time and availability for daily visits, dog walking, or even in your household for overnight care. In your home I can offer feeding visits, occasional visits, dog walking, and if required, overnight at your home. Let's me know what you need to care best for your pet.

“Abigail is the best! My dog loves her! We came from out of town and she made us feel so comfortable and at ease looking after our pup. She was quick to respond, competent, professional and thoughtful. My partner accidentally locked her out and she was patient and went out of her way to wait for him to let her in. We will be rebooking her again and you should too! 10 stars!”
