About: I love my pets. People call me the pet whisper. Dogs amnd cats just walk up to me in a crowd and stare. I was once on an international flight and after we got our luggage the security dog came up to me and stare so they checked my luggage, purse and carry on and found nothing of course. I am a retired surgical technologist so I have a lot of free time. If I get a job and I don’t have another sitting job I take it. I just moved to Iowa last September and just joined Rover. When I was in Kansas all my clients where word of mouth. Dice I have live in Iowa I have travel back to Kansas to either cat or dog sit and house sit many times. I brush, feed and love on them. About: Experienced Pet Lover — From Small Animals to XXL Dogs 🐾 I’ve been caring for animals for over 10 years, and taking care of pets has always been a big part of my life. I raised my Great Dane from a puppy and have a huge heart for big dogs, puppies, and animals of all sizes. Over the years, I’ve cared for my own Great Dane, bunny rabbit, and cat, as well as pet-sat for other dogs and cats. I was also raised in a household with Siberian Huskies, so I’ve been around dogs and animals from a young age. I enjoy building a bond with every pet I care for and have experience with basic training as well. I taught my Great Dane commands such as sit, stay, spin, and shake. I also litter-box trained my bunny and taught my cat to sit for a treat. I’m comfortable caring for everything from small animals to XXL dogs, and I’m also open to caring for reptiles and other pets. Whether your pet is a playful puppy, a gentle giant, a curious cat, or a smaller animal that needs extra attention, I’ll treat them with the same care, patience, and love I give my own pets. Your pets are family, and I’ll do my best to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. 🐶🐱🐰🦎❤️ I currently work from home, so my schedule is very flexible and allows me to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. About: I’ve owned at minimum one dog my entire life. Currently don’t have a dog in my household, would love to host yours. They’ll receive many walks, a fenced in yard, and lots of love. About: I’ve had a dog in the house since I was 5. I’ve dog sat 2 pit bulls while I also babysat 2 kids when I was just 14 for 12 hours a day. I currently dog sit for my mom all the time. Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
