About: I’ve grown up around dogs and have always loved caring for them, always helping my mom and sister with their own dogs. I’m comfortable with dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels, and I enjoy giving them plenty of attention, playtime, exercise, and companionship. My classes only run until about 11am-12pm, so I am free most of the day! I also would be available for early morning drop-ins. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their normal routine as consistent and comfortable as possible. I follow their feeding, walking, playtime, and medication instructions, while also giving them plenty of attention and companionship. I’m respectful of the home and make sure everything is left clean and just as I found it. About: I am very versatile. Adaptable. I have always tended to lean toward older dogs and have had older dogs up to age of 18. I have an absolute love of all animals. I work 2 days a week Wed and Friday. Friday is an 8 hour day in Ankeny. I am available after 445 on Fridays. I love all living creatures but I am allergic to cats. I have owned dogs, my last one passed away last year. I am a nurse and am very comfortable giving meds, injections and recognizing illness in dogs.
