“Diana came to meet our three little dogs a couple of days ahead of our reservations for her to walk them while I was out of town. It was obvious that she loves furry little four-pawed people. She picked them up on time, took them to the Bark Park, and texted me pictures of them running and playing while they bounded around chasing each other. We will definitely be calling on Diana again when we need a walker to take our pups for their morning outing!”

“Sadia was fabulous. I texted about setting up a meet & greet for my 3 year old pup & she got back to me on availability almost immediately! When she came over she was enthusiastic which my dog really enjoyed, she asked great questions & was 100% down to help out with little things like changing the water bowl. When I booked a walk she double checked with me on times & was willing to answer any extra questions I had. I know she is newer to ROVER, but she is a great candidate. Will book again!”

About: I have pet sit for friends and family no less than the last 10 years of my life and have cared for dogs who are puppies all the way through elderly dogs. I have all the free time in a day to watch, play, and care for pets, and evenings aside from Monday and Tuesday. My weekends are completely open as well. Even though I live in an apartment, I have a great area for walking and exploring nearby. I have no other pets currently, so it isn’t a problem if you have a pet who doesn’t get along well with other animals. In your home, I will follow any instructions left and take care of your pet according to your standards because you know your pet best.

“Maya is amazing! I noticed a difference in my baby’s behavior and mood and it’s been amazing! Had to cancel because I got a new fur baby and need to get him settled in. Will def come back to Maya!”

About: My work in the vet field (+5 years) taught me skills like medication administration including oral meds and injectables, senior care, and adapting to a proper health and/or behavior plan for your baby:) I adore all creatures and would love to get to know and care for yours! I am currently spending all of my time doing pet care, so I am available to watch/visit your kiddos all day if I'm not otherwise booked until further notice! My access and skill from my clinic, along with my lifelong experience with animals will benefit me in assessing your pets behavior and health needs on a day to day basis. I aim to add to your babies happy memories in their little lifetimes :)

About: My sister and I are a team when it comes to caring for your pets! I’ve loved and cared for animals since I was 7 years old—training dogs, volunteering at shelters, and spending time with both dogs and cats has always brought me so much joy. I specialize in boarding, training, and house sitting, while my older sister offers drop-in visits and dog walking. Together, we’re here to make sure your pets feel safe, loved, and well cared for—like they’re part of our family. We’re a sister team with open and flexible schedules, ready to give your pets the time, attention, and care they deserve! I’m currently a college student on break and fully available until late summer or fall, while my sister has a consistent year-round schedule. Together, we make sure your pets are always in good hands—whether it’s boarding, training, walking, or drop-in visits. My neighborhood has plenty of sidewalks for safe walks, and I have a fenced backyard with room for pets to run, play, and relax in the shade. I also have a small cage and a bed outside available if needed. Inside, pets will enjoy a cozy, air-conditioned home where they’ll be safe and comfortable

About: In my 50 years I’ve grown up with cats and dogs my entire life, which means caring for them isn’t just a job—it’s second nature. From the shyest kitten to the most energetic pup, I understand what it takes to connect with animals of all temperaments. My years of hands-on experience have taught me how to approach each pet with patience, love, and expert care. Whether your pet needs gentle reassurance or high-energy playtime, I provide a calm, compassionate presence they can trust. This deep-rooted bond with animals is what truly sets me apart. I’m currently working part time from home but I make my own hours. I also have a 17 year old son that is available to assist me with caring for your pet. I have a smaller size yard that is fenced in and gates that are locked. So there is no way for a pet to get out or harmed in any way.

About: I am currently taking classes online while living at home so I will have plenty of time to spend with your pups!!! I have a lot of experience with cats & dogs being that I’ve grown up with atleast 1 dog and 1 cat in the house my whole life:) I love animals and would love to care for your pup :) I have no work commitments or class commitments so I am able to stay home all day if I chose to! About: I have owned dogs and cats my entire life. I have also helped take care of other people's fur babies for over 10 years. This has included: dog sitting, walks, and administering medications. I work as an independent contractor so my schedule is pretty flexible and can change based on your pets needs. I would love to take your fur babies on walks and take care of them. I will love and care for your pet as if it were my own. I'll be sure to keep you updated with pictures or messages of how they're doing. I can also water any plants and bring your mail in if needed, just let me know!

About: I cannot remember a time in my life when dogs were not around. As soon as I graduated college, I began volunteering with a no-kill shelter in Austin, Texas. Volunteering at the shelter quickly expanded to becoming a dog foster. At the time, I did not have dogs of my own, so I was the perfect candidate to foster long-stay dogs as well as dogs with behavior and medical issues. My first foster was a tiny puppy recovering from Parvo. It was one of the toughest and most rewarding dog experiences of my life! Fostering dogs with behavior issues gave me the opportunity to participate in several training courses and programs. One of those dogs even inspired a dog-empowerment non-profit organization (Dogs Out Loud) -- she was also the logo! After several years of working with this dog, she became my last foster dog...because we adopted her! We introduced another dog into our home a few years later and it was a constant work in progress (and training) to keep those two in each other's good graces. Both of those babes have since crossed the rainbow bridge. We are not ready to adopt, but as mentioned above, I can't imagine a home with no dog. My journey with dogs has allowed me to meet a wide range of unique creatures with unique needs, giving me the confidence to handle all types of dog situations. I work from home and am able to tend to pets all throughout the day. I love interacting with animals and I try to work them into any part of my day that is possible. I honor and respect all rules established within the home for each animal. I will spend time with and love on the animals in the same way I care for my own dogs.

“Maria is everything her numerous reviews say and beyond. She is the ultimate professional and her love and consideration for the fur babies is obvious. It gave me great comfort to have someone with her knowledge and consideration help me with my senior (15 years old) retriever as she has some delicate arthritis issues. Maria is exceptional in her service, such a blessing. Thank you Maria. Gracias!”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs since I was very young. My pup is a senior that has been with me since her weening. I have worked with the arlington animal shelter & search one rescue’s weekly training. One of life's greatest feelings is the love of an animal. I work part time with a non profit in the disd school system and have most weekends available with daily activities local to the dfw area. I have a fenced in yard. Experience with dog crating. During the summer months I limit my personal pups’ time outdoors. We keep the animals in the first room from the front door with baby gates which is a large area we use for dining.

About: Hi, my name is Emma! I've had dogs and cats since I was little and I've taken care of family pets from time to time. I know how to take puppies for walks, take them outside, and feed them whatever they need to be fed! My house is free for any and all pets, big or small. I have a pet of my own, but she is good with other dogs as long as they are good with her. I go to school from 9:30 to 11 am on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but other than that, I am free to take care of your pets whenever needed! As long as I have instructions on what to do, I will be able to follow them to a T, and be able to care for your pet how you want your pet to be cared for!

About: I’ve loved caring for animals and have my entire life. I have the energy to play and am not lazy when it comes to grooming, walking, or taking to the bathroom. I am looking for some extra income and "dog therapy" until I can get another puppy if my own. I want to be able to help others out because I know how much responsibility and time consuming having a dog can be. I am here to help however I can and can be flexible with hours and any special needs that your dog might need. I am open to all breeds and sizes. Please message me with any questions! I am available early morning, nights, and most weekends. I do not have a dog of my own right now so I love taking them on walks and playing after a long day at work! I treat all animals with respect love to spend a little extra time with them in order to make them more comfortable! “I can give Ariana the highest recommendation! She has taken care of my cats, dogs, and chickens when I was out of town. Ariana is responsible, loving, gentle, and patient with the animals. She truly loves and enjoys them and takes the time to make sure everything is done according to specifications. I recently got a feral cat that is very skittish. It took 2 weeks before it would come to me. At the end of a weekend with her it was sitting in Ariana’s lap! She’s the best!”

“It honestly felt like I left my dog with a close friend. She made everything easy. super fast replies, clear communication, and just good energy all around. My dog came home calm, happy, and clearly loved (he even slept the whole car ride back, which never happens!). You can tell she really loves animals. Definitely booking her again.”

“First time using Rover and we were so thankful to find Josh! He took care of our old guy and was very flexible! Will definitely book him again!”

Troy L.
“To Whom It May Concern at Rover, I am pleased to write a character reference for Troy, whom I’ve known for approximately two years. In that time, I’ve come to know him as a kind, patient, and engaging individual with a natural ability to connect with both people and animals. While I have not personally used Troy for pet care services, I have observed his genuine affection for animals. On several occasions when he has visited our home, he has gone out of his way to interact with our dog—playing with him, keeping him company, and giving him attention even while others were socializing. His gentle and attentive demeanor with animals is clear and sincere. Troy is also wonderful with children. He frequently plays games like frisbee or basketball with the kids and easily engages them in conversation. He brings a positive and friendly energy into any environment and gets along well with people of all ages. One particular conversation that stood out to me was about our shared belief in the importance of treating animals ethically. We both agreed strongly against hunting animals for sport, which further confirmed to me Troy’s compassion and strong character. Troy is articulate, thoughtful, and has a wide base of knowledge. I truly believe this opportunity with Rover aligns well with his strengths and personality. I am confident that he would be a reliable and caring addition to your network, and I wholeheartedly recommend him. Thank you for your time and consideration. Wishing you a wonderful day. Sincerely, John”

“Keitha’s love and passion for dogs is tangible. I’ve known her over ten years and caring for pups has been a significant part of her and her life all that time. Keitha is very reliable as well as a great communicator, making it easy to schedule with her and check in if need be.”

Newana N.
“Newana has been a lifesaver for me and my pets. I frequently travel overseas and I am gone for a week or more from home. Newana has cared for my cats each time, providing them food and water, playing with them, and taking care of the litter boxes. I never had to worry about them while I was gone, she arrived on time each day and took care of everything. I am so grateful for her and wouldn't hesitate to use her in the future for pet and house sitting.”

Michelle B.
“Michelle is awesome, reliable, adventurous, trustworthy and kind! I have had the pleasure of having Michelle watch my rather rambunctious puppy on a few occasions and I was always comfortable knowing my little guy was in good hands! Michelle is assertive and knows exactly how to love on my playful dog! She’s always been really clean and picks up after herself after each stay! She is patient and calm when my pup needs cuddles and is always ready to take him on adventures when he is being rowdy! She’s great at communicating and flexible with my schedule and my fur baby’s needs! I would recommend Michelle to anyone who needs their dogs looked after!”
