I am a very active retiree who enjoys walking, I would love the opportunity to care for your dog. I have had many breeds of dogs my whole life. Small dogs and a St. Bernard! I love all dogs. I am also a very satisfied Rover client. I have found it gives my peace of mind knowing my dogs get individualized attention when going to a Rover sitter. I have a fenced in yard and a good sized home with a porch. So lots of room, for playing or quiet time. I have 3 dogs that are all very friendly and playful with other dogs.

About: I’ve had my own animals or taken care of others dogs, cats and rabbits for 20 + years Love all types of dogs, cats and bunnies. Looking forward to helping. I have a very flexible work schedule and I’m happy to help on evenings, weekends and early mornings . I don’t mind walking long distances for dogs that need the extra exercise I follow directions on how you want your dog taken care of in your home. I currently have a rabbit, so I’m unable to have a dog or cat in my home.

About: I owned by PWD, named Bruna. My family and I loves dogs and cats. I love taking dogs for a walk and play with them 2-3 times a day. I have 14 years of experience, of walking and sitting the dogs, by helping my neighbors, while their on vacation. I know how to groom the dog, clip their nails, and clean the teeth, and of course to feed them! I have fenced nice yard, for dogs to run and play around. About: Hello! I’m a lifelong animal lover with experience caring for pets of all kinds. Back in Texas, I had a hobby farm with cats, goats, chickens, and my lovable dog, Hero. We even boarded dogs on occasion, and my passion for animals has only continued to grow. These days, I enjoy getting outside often—I’m a recreationalist who loves walking and hiking with my own dog. Now that I’m new to the Outer Banks, I’d love the opportunity to walk your dogs or stop in for house visits with other pets, too. My goal is always to make sure your animals feel safe, happy, and loved. You can feel confident knowing they’re in caring hands and treated like part of the family. I’m also happy to answer any questions or concerns before booking to help put your mind at ease. I am currently a stay at home Mom, with school just around the corner I will be kid free with plenty of time to care for your pets! While caring for your pets in your home or taking them for a walk, I’ll happily provide updates about the visit—including whether they ate, went potty, and how they’re feeling—along with photos and even our walk route. I can also administer any needed medications, crate them if required, and ensure your home is secure before I leave.

About: I grew up with dogs my entire life! My previous rescues, Bailey and Kira, passed away of old age and it took several years but in January of 2021 I adopted Sprinkles, a lab-hound mix who is approximately 2-ish years old and 50lbs. She gets along well with all dogs and loves to play! She can be rambunctious so if your dog is mellow, she will get on their nerves. I grew up with dobermans and I regularly watch my bff's 10lb small dog (and Sprinkles' friend) so I'm used to dogs both big and small. Nothing phases me - I can administer medication and subcutaneous fluids and can follow complicated feeding instructions - some of our furry friends are finicky! I love the bond formed when walking dogs - it's very special. My home is pet-friendly, with a small fenced-in backyard. Your dog will have a lovely time and I will be thrilled to take care of them! I am a realtor with a very flexible work schedule so there will be a lot of 1:1 time with your pet. We have sidewalks everywhere and a dog park within walking distance (only if you give the ok). I set an alarm and feed them breakfast and dinner consistently at the same time - it typically provides a calming effect when staying in a new place. I can let them out first AM in the backyard and after that it will be walks in and outside of Bermuda Bay, with lots of great sniffs!

About: I have lived with dogs my entire life including 2 golden retrievers, a Chihuahua, and now a German Shepherd. I work with all sizes and love them all. I really do this because its awesome and not for the money!! Overall I just want you to know your dog is in good hands and will get a ton of excersise while it is with me! - -PAYMENTS- Rover has a weird set up for payments so please refer here and not my actual price chart for payments. DAILY dog siting (7am-6pm) will be 30$/day. NIGHTLY dog sitting (6pm-7am) will be 20$/ night. Ex: if you drop off Monday at 7am and pick up Friday at 6pm it will be 230$. 5 days @ 30/day=150, 4 nights @ 20/night= 80. Combine the 2 for 230. Simple dog visits 30 min and under 10$. Feel free to ask any questions. I am very flexible. I would prefer a 2 day notice before booking. Thank you!

But also knows how to be lazy. Two kids in high school that also love dogs. Your pet will be loved I am newly retired from the Coast Guard. Making your animal feel loved and cared for is my number one priority. I grew up with a lab, golden retriever, and an Alaskan Malamute in my house. I have the maturity, energy levels and personality to provide the absolute best possible care for your beloved while you’re away. I also have references for you if you’d be interested. As I mentioned, I do school from home so I have plenty of time to give your pet exactly what it needs. For the most part, they will rarely be left alone since I’m currently a full time student. They will have plenty of walks, exercise, affection, cuddles and belly rubs etc while you’re away! I can accomadate your dog’s usual walk schedule and also furniture, food, exercise, play, affection and temperament needs. I will also communicate and send pictures and videos to reassure you, unless you don’t want to get them frequently just let me know! I’m very present and affectionate with the dogs who stay with me. They can cuddle and sleep on my bed with me or the couch if that’s what they’re used to at home with you. There’s plenty of room for their doggy bed and toys.❤️ Lastly, I will only have other dogs at the same time as yours if it’s with prior permission. About: I have grown up always having pet dogs and volunteering at animal shelters . My passion for animals inspired me to become a wildlife biologist. I am lucky enough to have heaps of friends with dogs , and often walk their dogs and pet sit when needed. I have also hiked the entire length of the Pacific Crest Trail; so I’m happy to take dogs on nice long walks. I love hiking/ walking , animals , and I would love to be able to help your family out . Currently I have a pretty flexible schedule and am willing to work with you on what’s best for your dogs . I can also work weekends and holidays . I am currently living in Kill Devil Hills, NC and am willing to travel to the surrounding areas. I am a wildlife biologist that works Monday through Friday. I usually get off work around 4 pm and would love to be able help out with your fur babies. I make sure the dogs have a comfortable place to rest with plenty of enrichment items available. I am happy to do whatever it takes to ensure the dog has a comfortable and lovely time.

About: Foster mom of 1! Most of my free time is spent walking dogs at the shelter so I have lots of experience with every type of dog! My parents run a pet care business and I often help them with daily walks as well as overnight stays. I live on a horse farm and have extensive experience caring for livestock as well as household pets. I work at one of our local mountains Saturday- Tuesday. I’m happy to drop in after work if your pup needs, but I’m also available all day Wednesday-Friday! My pup is a recent foster who prefers some space when he’s outside so I often let him out first thing in the morning, then we do a 20-30 minute walk before having breakfast and often lounging around the house until we go outside to get some exercise in the early afternoon.

About: I have two English labradors with my older, one being a therapy dog. My younger one is in training. At this time, I can provide in-home visits and dog walking with the possibility of boarding in the near future. I work full-time during the week however I do work from home so I have some flexibility as to how I schedule my day of course depending on mandatory meetings. About: Hi! My name is Jess and my husband Earl and pup Atlas are free to watch your pets anytime. We have a small fenced in backyard and go for atleast three walks a day on bay drive. Our dog is 6 years old and he keeps to his own space but can be playful if you have a lively pup. He tends to match the energy of other dogs. I am usually away from the house for 2-4 hours a day otherwise I’m home with the pups. Earl works 8-5pm Monday to Friday or he’ll be around loving on your pup also! We are mellow and kind hearted people looking to make your pets feel safe and at ease while you’re a way. Will send pictures and keep you in the loop!

About: I have been on Rover for a few years and caring for my own dogs for much longer. Whether it’s a drop in visit or a slumber party, I love spending time with dogs. I’m currently unavailable for doggy daycare at my home and boarding at my home but am happy to travel around the Nags Head area to care for your pets. I look forward to meeting your furry friends! I have a job at a restaurant in Kill Devil Hills. My shifts are usually 11-4 or 4-9. Usually when I watch pets it for walks or drop in visits that I work around that schedule Safety is my number one priority while watching dogs. I’m always very vigilant on walks and never have dogs off leash unless we’re in a secure area and the owners approve.
