“I had such peace of mind having Amber watch our two pups. She is excellent at communicating, gave frequent updates which we loved, and left the house in great shape after her stay. She also asked questions to make sure the dogs were able to continue their normal routines under her care. I'm so glad I found her and she was able to accommodate the sit on such short notice. We look forward to booking with her again, especially knowing how much the dogs loved her too. 🙂”

“Cassidy took such great care of our dog, Teddy! She was friendly, communicative, and clearly loves animals. We got regular updates and photos, and it was obvious Teddy was happy and well-cared for. Highly recommend Cassidy—she’s the best!”

“From the moment I booked Susane on Rover, I hoped to find someone who would care for my beloved Jack as much as I do. Little did I know, I had found someone truly special. Susane took the time to come for a meet-and-greet before her stay, which immediately put my heart at ease. But the moment she greeted Jack with a treat and the warmest smile, I knew—I had made the perfect choice. She didn’t just take care of Jack; she showered him with so much love and attention that I almost felt a little jealous! It was clear that he adored her just as much. Knowing he was in such good hands allowed me to enjoy my time away without a single worry. Beyond her incredible care for Jack, Susane went above and beyond in every possible way. She left my home absolutely spotless and even surprised me with thoughtful cards and gifts on her last day. The kindness and dedication she showed truly touched my heart. Leaving your precious fur baby with someone new can be nerve-wracking, but because of Susane, I will never feel that worry again. Peace of mind is priceless, and that is exactly what she gave me. Susane, from the bottom of our hearts—thank you to the moon and back! Jack and I love you and can’t wait to have you back! With endless gratitude, Jill R”

About: I was born into a house with 3 dogs and have had pets for all my life. Cats, dogs, bunnies, hamsters, tortoises, toads, fish and two raccoons while growing up, and at 8 years old had full responsibility for my cat. Later I volunteered at the shelter and at rescues, did TNR and fosters. I am retired so I can fit pet care flexibly, any days of the week and any hours, as long as I get enough advance notice. As of now I can't take care of your pets in my house, I will be able to do sitting at your location. I am in the future going to pet proof a space in my house but not now.

Southern Oaks pet parents share their Rover experiences
This was our first time leaving our dog at home with a sitter instead of boarding. It went great and Verna did a great job! Honey was happier and we could enjoy our vacation knowing she was being well taken care of. Verna communicated with us each day and let us know Honey was doing great and eating. We would definitely love to use Verna again in the future!

Annalise was the best! She had perfect communication, always letting us know how the dogs were doing with pictures throughout the entire day. She was punctual, spent lots of time with our dogs, did everything asked and they absolutely loved her. We came home to happy pups and will be using her again. We cannot recommend her enough, 10 stars!

I have had Mackenzie housesit for me multiple times now, and I have to say that her and her husband Gil always do an absolutely fantastic job. I never worry about what's going on at the house, and I know that my dogs are very well taken care of. I get plenty of updates, and they have been so accommodating in situations such as my flight getting delayed. She is quick to respond, polite, and just awesome all around. I highly recommend her, and she will always be my first choice for care for my dogs while I am out of town. Thank you so much again Mackenzie!

If you don’t book Abigail for your animals.. you didn’t get the best. That I can assure you! She is communicative, provides photo updates and will take care of your home and pets as if it were you.
