“David was very good with Dagger. He played with him and took him on little walks around outside the house. He did what we asked and did a good job of taking care of our dog. Thanks again David!”

“Amanda was wonderful! My cat took to her immediately, which is unusual because he is usually very shy! I was so appreciative of all of the pictures and updates! I’m so grateful and I highly recommend!”

“Eren and Luca are great ! Felt so reassured that our cats were getting great care , the senior boys need some extra attention and they were great . Communication was spot on and pictures were wonderful. Will definitely use them again”
“Melissa went above and beyond all of our expectations for her. We were contacted with pictures and text letting us know how our dog was doing each time she came to house. A++++. Fully recommend Melissa to anyone who needs a pet sitter. ”

“We couldn't be happier with the care our cats received! One of our cats is usually very shy around strangers, but to our surprise, he went straight to Misha without any hesitation; a true testament to her gentle and calming presence. She sent us adorable daily photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Our cats were clearly well-loved and looked after. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter!”

“Denise was so easy to work with and fit me in last minute. My dog really took to her and she doesn’t usually warm up very quickly. I would definitely recommend and use her again in the future”

About: Currently, I work full time during the week, but I will be unemployed around the end of August. I have my Bachelor's in Biology and Master's in Biotechnology. I have had animals all my life, and I could not imagine living without them. I currently live with two sassy kitties. I would ultimately love to have a farm of some sort with a wide array of animals like donkeys, cats, dogs, ducks, and much more! I am very easy going and adaptable. I will be unemployed as of the end of August, so I will have more than enough time to spend with the furry babies. I still currently work full time, but my week day nights and weekend days are open! I rigorously follow whatever schedule of the pet's, and make sure that basics are always covered such as full water, clean litter boxes, enough playtime, etc.

“Theresa was absolutely the best with my dog Sissy. She had great communication, was timely, and an absolute blessing to find for Sissy. Thank you so much! We will be booking again for sure!”

“Justina did an excellent job caring for our three cats while we were away. She provided frequent updates and amazing photos that gave us peace of mind and showed that our fur babies were happy, comfortable, and well cared for. It was clear she took the time to make sure they received plenty of attention and care during each visit. We came home to three happy cats and felt completely confident that they were in good hands while we were gone. We highly recommend Justina and will definitely be booking with her again in the future! 🐾💕”

About: I have a background in dogs and horses having had dogs my whole life and horses indoor over half my life. I have worked with special needs dogs as well, providing medications and medical intervention. I also can provide light aid in training, as I have experience in training my personal dog. I try to provide messages and pictures once per day as well! I’m currently receiving my doctorate degree and spending the next 5 months in Pennsylvania finishing school and have a bit more flexibility throughout my weeks. I love animals with my own personal dog Ruby who stays with me as well as horses back in my home state!! I hope to be able to accommodate you and your pet into my schedule to provide the best care. I strive to respect the client’s privacy and space by not disturbing any areas in which the animals do not inhabit. I often spend a bit of time with the animals, primarily outdoors for dogs as to allow them to get more energy and stimulation.

“Nina did a great job taking care of my cats! I can tell they spent quality time with my cats while I was gone and sent great pictures. They are awesome at communicating and really go the extra mile!”

About: For 13 years, I helped take care of and watch over our beautiful family dog. She loved to play in the yard and go on long walks around the neighborhood. Since then, I have attained more animal experience by house-sitting a friend's dog and cat for a weekend, as well as walking a dog almost every day for two years. I ran track at the University of Florida, and love fitness of any kind. I snowboard and hike regularly and can't wait for summer! Living in CA, watching or walking a dog is the perfect way to get me outside and exploring. Additionally, I am a good listener and follow instructions very well. Your dog will be loved, walked (or even run!) and overall, be in great hands. I’m currently working from home so I am very flexible when it comes to taking the dog out for potty breaks, walking, and playing with your dog! I have a fenced in backyard, where I often sit, read and eat. It’s perfect for any dogs to hang outside! I’m also close to parks and hiking trails.

About: I have experience with both cats and dogs! I have done cat sitting before as a teenager and I have even more experience with cats as I have a sweet one of my own! I’m a loving and caring person and would love to help with your furry friends 🙂 I am very flexible with scheduling. I am available most of the day during the week and weekends as well! I’m very reliable and loyal. I am big on safety and will ensure that your pet is safe at all time. I will also make sure to keep your pet happy and playful:)
“Absolutely AMAZING! Most of the time she stayed with our dogs longer than the designated time frame and took extremely good care of them. She left detailed notes and pictures EACH and every visit!!!! It was so nice to know my dogs were in great care while we were away on vacation.”

My afternoons, evenings and weekends are devoted to your pets in need! You can rest assured that your pets are always my number one priority! I am very responsible and punctual. I can adapt to all cats and dogs and their unique personalities. Whatever your pet needs, whether it be a walk, a meal or some fresh water, I am your gal. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in South Whitehall. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
