We were very comfortable leaving our girl with Tia. She did a great job with introducing her to the other dogs and kept us up to date on how her first day went. Gorgeous yard and very dog friendly!

This was our first time using Joel and will definitely not be our last. I loved that he had our dogs meet before he watched our pup - to ensure all dogs got along. He knows what he is talking about and quickly made our pup feel comfortable. We have had a terrible experience with Rover in the past and Joel redeemed this app for us. I would recommend him to anyone.

Julie was willing to be flexible with us on time for drop off and pick up which was so helpful because we had never done a day at Lagoon and didn't really know what we were getting into. My dog seemed very happy and content after and he typically has a lot of separation anxiety so that was so wonderful to see.

Ashley and family were very loving and sweet. All I have to say to Steve is that we were going to see Ashley and he would run and sit by the door ready to go. We will definitely be going back for day care and boarding on weekends.

She did a wonderful job! My buddy is a little whiny when I’m not around, and she made him and me feel as if he was secure and safe. This was the first sitter I’ve used on this app and I will continue to use this app because I had a great experience with her. She took very cute pictures of buddy, and it makes me happy knowing he had a fun time over there.

Jarica and family took wonderful care to make our shy dog comfortable. Thankful for the peace of mind knowing that our dog had some play time while we attended an event. When in the area visiting friends in the future we will book with Jarica again. Loved the photos and the sight of our dog with little girls coming back from a walk!

Jana's love of animals really shines through! She was so patient & kind in getting to know my Frenchie named Ava, and astutely observed Ava's nervousness meeting a new sitter. She sent some great pictures of her dog Olive playing with Ava, and one cute pic of Ava chilling out. Jana provided Ava with her probiotic on time, and put all her treats back in her treat bag after they spilled out. Jana is a great sitter who I trust will give Ava everything she needs. I look forward to bringing Ava in the future.

About: Hi! I’m a military family member living right here on Hill AFB, and I’d love to welcome your fur baby into my home! 🐾 I live in a comfortable 3-bedroom home with a fully fenced backyard, giving your pup plenty of space to relax, play, and feel at home while you’re away. My wife also lives with me, so your pup will have a loving, comfortable home environment. I have an 8-year-old Black Lab named Bleu and a 3-year-old domestic shorthair cat named Scat. Both are part of the family and are used to having other animals around. 🐶🐱 I understand that life doesn’t always go according to plan. Work trips, vacations, last-minute changes, emergencies, or simply needing someone you trust to watch your pup can happen with very little notice. I’m happy to work with different schedules whenever I can because I know how important it is to have someone reliable you can count on. My goal is simple: treat your dog like they’re one of mine. ❤️ I’m comfortable caring for all kinds of dogs as long as they’re house-trained, dog- and cat-friendly, and not food aggressive. Outside of those basics, I’m pretty easygoing! I’m happy to follow your normal routines, feeding instructions, medication schedules, crate preferences, and whatever helps your pup feel comfortable. While you’re away, you can expect plenty of attention, a safe home environment, backyard time, and lots of love and cuddles. I’m also happy to send pictures and updates so you don’t have to wonder what your fur baby is up to. 📸🐾 Whether you need a sitter for a planned vacation or something comes up at the last minute, I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your furbaby! Rover Profile Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine! I’m already used to the daily responsibilities that come with caring for pets, including feeding, walks, playtime, potty breaks, litter box care, and all the little things that help pets feel comfortable and happy. One of the biggest benefits of booking with me is that pets will have someone around throughout the day, so they won’t be left alone for long periods of time. I’m able to give them plenty of attention, keep an eye on them, and make sure they stay on their normal routine while you’re away. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and treating every pet like part of the family. I’m happy to follow your instructions closely, keep their routine as consistent as possible, and give them plenty of love, attention, and care while they’re in my home. 🐾 Boarding & Daycare For boarding and daycare, I treat every pet that stays with me like part of the family. 🐾 My home is their home away from home, and I focus on keeping them safe, comfortable, happy, and on as close to their normal routine as possible. I have a fully fenced backyard where dogs can enjoy supervised outdoor time, play, and plenty of room to stretch their legs. Throughout the day, pets receive plenty of attention, playtime, affection, and downtime. For cats, I provide a calm and comfortable environment where they can relax, explore at their own pace, and receive plenty of one-on-one attention. I’m happy to follow each pet’s individual feeding schedule, medication instructions, crate routine, sleeping arrangements, and any other care instructions you provide. I also understand that every pet has a different personality — some want to play all day, some want constant cuddles, and some simply want a quiet place to nap. I’m happy to meet each pet where they’re most comfortable. Pets staying with me will have regular supervision and companionship throughout the day rather than being left alone for long periods. I’ll also keep you updated with pictures and messages so you can relax knowing your fur baby is safe, happy, and being well cared for. ❤️

About: I have experience fostering for a variety of rescue organizations, caring for animals with different ages, personalities, and needs. I was raised around all kinds of animals, including dogs, cats, horses, and more, so caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. I’ve also volunteered with veterinary clinics and gained hands on experience through rescue work. I’m comfortable working with different animals and enjoy making sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I’m home most of the day, so I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give pets the attention and care they need. I’m able to work pet care into my daily routine and can be flexible with feeding times, walks, and bathroom breaks. I do have a toddler at home, so I like to discuss each pet’s needs and routine ahead of time to make sure it’s a good fit. I make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for. I take the time to get to know each animal and their routine, since every pet is different. I follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, and any special needs they may have. I also make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and bathroom breaks. About: I grew up with cats and dogs since day one. As I got older I joined a local rescue as a pet foster parent and eventually rescued a few of my own outside of the rescue. I have had many types breeds of dogs in my care and have also watched ferrets, guinea pigs, goats, and cats. I have experience from newborn puppies/kittens/ chicks to senior care. I went through multiple puppy training classes with both my Dane and Shorthair. I am a stay at home human/pet mom so I have a very open schedule. I am able to watch pets in my home or drop in. I am typically always home. My backdoor opens into a 6 foot fenced, fully gated, dog run. They have 24/7 access to this, unless it's raining. We then have the "big back yard" or 1/4 acers, which has no shade and a chicken coop. So, I have to be a with them and it can'tbe blistering hot, that we work our some energy. We love outdoor time, so as long as the weather cooperates we are outside! When inside they are able to roam as they please, sit on the couch, sleep on the bed and get all the pets. I only use a crate if that is what they are used to.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your South Weber commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in UT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 1,033 sitters in South Weber, 86% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
