About: I grew up with my mom finding strays to care for and finding them homes. I've always wanted my own. I've had my dog for 4 years and adopted my kitten a few months ago! I am mostly free on weekdays and most weekends so any day works for me to give your pets my undivided attention and my best care. About: I am returning to Rover! I moved to UT in late 2024. I have since gotten married, started work, and established my life here, so it’s time to start pet sitting again! I work in Farmington from 8 AM- 5:00 PM Monday- Friday. During the week, it would be best for me to be with a dog who can be alone for at least 4 hours so I can go to work, let them out/ hang out during my lunch break, and then go back to work. Once I am off work I will not go anywhere. Also, my weekends are completely free, but I am happy to do stays during the week as long as you’re comfortable with my work schedule/ my going to work during the day. I Would love to hang out with your pet and provide them top notch care! I make sure to pay special attention to each pet I take care of, making sure they feel loved and safe when they are around me. I like to make sure that they get their exercise in as well! Not all pets need the same things. With my dogs, one just needs someone to sit with but the other needs someone to run around with. About: Hello, My name is Alex. I am a lifelong dog lover and have been pet sitting and walking dogs for over 14 years. I worked as a Kennel Technician at Burch Creek Animal Hospital for 3 years and did a 5-week internship at Best Friends Animal Society where I took care of dogs, cats, horses, pigs and bunnies. I also have over 250 hours of volunteer work with different animal organizations. I raised a very difficult puppy at the age of 13 and he turned out pretty good, if I do say so myself. I have experience with all dog sizes, temperaments, ages and health statuses. I don't mind cleaning up messes and have cared from young, high-energy puppies to old dogs that need extra attention and care. I can also lift big dogs if needed. “Allison and Sloan took great care of our senior pup for two weeks. He went on walks, hikes, and got to play tug. They sent us many photos and were always available if we wanted to check up on him. I could tell he was very comfortable and given the attention he needed while we were away. They gave him his medications and made sure he didn't over exert himself with his arthritis and joint issues. We were very pleased with his care and know that he was well loved while we were gone.”
