“Julie is incredibly kind with Romina and treats her as if she were her own cat. She kept me updated with photos throughout the stay, which gave me so much peace of mind. She made sure Romina was well fed, spent time playing with her, and even slept beside her. It was clear that Romina was loved and cared for the entire time. I’m so grateful and would absolutely trust Julie with Romina again.”

“Diana was amazing with my two Goldens (one 10 yo and the other 6 months). She kept me updated on how they were, was very responsive, and respectful of my house. I’d absolutely recommend her!”

“Our three dogs with very different needs can be a lot to manage (a rambunctious 18 month old, a five year old, and an elder dog in significant decline), and Adriana took great care of all of them simultaneously. She asks the right questions and communicates clearly and quickly to resolve anything that comes up. We could not be happier with how she works with us and cares for Maddie, Olaf, and Otter.”

“Kara bonded with my cat, which is not easy to do, but important to my cat's and my peace of mind! She was great at communicating and sending updates & pics. She took good care of my home. Kara is an interesting person also!”

“Amoreena was wonderful with our two high-energy pups! This was our first time booking a house sit, and Amoreena put our minds right at ease. Super communicative with lots of pictures/videos/updates, which was so appreciated! Our golden actually had an unexpected medical emergency come up while we were away, and Amoreena acted quickly, calmly, and professionally with great care for our boy. Would absolutely rebook and recommend Amoreena!”

“Alyssa was so great with my critters (2 small dogs and one cranky cat) while we were out of town for a wedding. One dog is a recent adoptee who is a very skittish girl- so a little more to handle. Alyssa kept her comfy and safe at home for us. We truly appreciate her and will definitely book again !”

“Allyanna is wonderful! She recently house sat for us for almost a week. From the meet and greet, to her time at our home she was very accommodating and easy to work with. She sent pics and indulged our pup with the things she loves. We will definitely contact Allyanna again when we need to be away and it is a no brainer for us to recommend her to others. Thank you Allyanna!!”

“Riley was very good and I would recommend him to annyone and use him again! I texted him daily to check on the pups and he always responded back! Very nice and I’m a nervous dog mom so he was great!”

“We had to go out of town for a week for our wedding. As it can already be a stressful time planning a wedding, Emalyn kept us updated every single day with a picture of our dog and ensured she was doing great, giving us a peaceful mind for our big day. Emalyn did an absolutely amazing job. I have a pitbull rescue that is very hyper and Emalyn made sure she had her full attention and playful times with her. I will definitely book Emalyn again to watch our dog again!”

“Kendra was so lovely to work with - she was friendly, understanding, and communicative. She was great about checking in with regular updates, and she took excellent care of our dogs and our home while we were away. Would definitely love to work with her again!”

“Kaylah is very responsive and dependable. She did a great job with my very nervous rescue dog, putting my dog right at ease. We’re looking forward to having her back!”

“Marie was wonderful with Bailey. We were away for long stretch and Maria sent many photos and videos which helped being away less stressful. Maria was very communitive and respectful. I would not hesitate to ask Maria to take care of our Bailey.”

“Nick's level of care and communication was great! Our pup was not feeling well when we left for our trip, but Nick made him feel comfortable and updated us on his progress. Would reccomend him for any in home sitting needs.”

About: I’ve had pets since I was a child. Dogs, cats, rodents, reptiles, birds - you name it. I’ve always been an animal lover and even wanted to be a veterinarian until I found out was euthanasia is. In my adolescence, I began pet sitting and volunteering with the SPCA (where we adopted all of our pets); small and big dogs, and sometimes multiple at a time. I started to experiment with training and enjoyed teaching tricks and obedience commands. When I turned 19, I inherited my family dog, Rocco, and we became best friends. My favorite memories from those years are taking him to parks and reserves across New York State. In 2025, he got sick and I learned a lot from taking care of him through the end of his life. It was important to me that he felt like a happy, special dog during his last days because he filled my life with so much joy. The day before his euthanasia, I invited everyone who knew him to celebrate his life. He was showered in presents and treats and cuddles and surrounded by humans he loved. Animals share such unique bonds with us. Now, I am looking for opportunities to share my love of animals through Rover. I hope you consider me as your next pet sitter. I am available! My best times are evenings and weekends, with sporadic availability midday during the week. I work 8-4 Monday through Thursday at a local farm collective in Kirkville and a community garden in South Syracuse. In my free time, I enjoy making art in all kinds of media and being outside. I am looking to spend my time with animals and make their lives happy and bright! Trust and safety is my utmost priority. Through many years of being around different animals, I learned the important of an initial bond based in trust and respect. I hold myself with strength and create an energy of a safe and inviting environment. I am able to gauge an animal’s personality and demeanor, and adjust accordingly. For pets that love to play, I am always happy to bring out my goofy and fun-loving side. For more reserved companions, I enjoy taking things slow and doing calmer activities. Most of all, a pet’s joy and comfort is my number one goal!
“Tyler did an awesome job with our 2 high maintenance Border Collies who are rarely left at home. They were well cared for and extremely happy upon our return. Tyler also house-sat and everything was in perfect order. We will definitely call Tyler again.”

“Quinn stayed with our dogs and my dad’s dog for a week and she did an amazing job! She was very communicative and sent pictures every day which I really appreciated. Our house was very clean when we got home and she left a note for us about how the week went in addition to the messages she had sent throughout the week. We felt very relaxed on our trip because of her updates and our dogs seemed happy and relaxed when we got home! Highly recommend!”
“Yelitza was absolutely wonderful with my pups. She stayed with them at my house while I was away, and spent plenty of time with them to keep them happy and loved, - walks, plays, and snuggles. She was very engaged and meticulous, and I was very happy about the whole experience.”

Julie is incredibly kind with Romina and treats her as if she were her own cat. She kept me updated with photos throughout the stay, which gave me so much peace of mind. Desiree was amazing! She was available for us very last minute and made the whole experience easy and worry-free. Even though we were only gone for one night, she kept us updated the entire time and sent pictures, which we really appreciated. Our dogs are older and very relaxed, and it was clear they were comfortable and well cared for. She took them on a walk, stayed longer than planned, and we came home to a clean house. We will definitely be booking with Desiree again and highly recommend her!

Cammie was very quick to respond and do a meet and greet same day we reached out. She was very attentive, took very good care of the animals and communicated every time she fed and let my dog out to potty. This was my first time using Rover for my animals and I will definitely be using Cammie again.

Meagan did a great job watching our pups. Bella, our golden retriever, showed off her hunting skills by catching a squirrel. Typical golden she had to roll on her catch to make sure every part of her body was coated with her prize. After some convincing and bribery Meagan was able get the squirrel and dispose of it. And then she gave Bella a bath ... all was good. Our house looked great when we arrived home. And Meagan left us notes on each of the two dogs. It was such a nice surprise to find those kind words. We hope Meagan will be available to watch Bentley and Bella for each of our travel plans when we can't travel with our pups.

Nicole was such a blessing! I hadn’t been separated from my pup before and was so nervous. He’s a little over and very energetic and 100+ lbs. that combination can be overwhelming and she was great. She did a great job with him and was phenomenal at communicating. I will definitely use her again!
