We had to be away for the day last minute and couldn't take the pup with us. Thankfully, Staci was available! We met for a quick 'meet n greet' ahead of the day. She was able to come a few times during the day/evening for walks and check ins. She was timely and communicative with each one, reassuring to know Clover was in good hands!

About: I know how hard it can be to find reliable and trustworthy pet care. I will always be intentional with the care I provide and will never hesitate to go above and beyond as I would want for my pets. I work Monday through Wednesday from 9 am to 5 pm. I am fully available all other days and am happy to stay at your house on the days I go to work as well. I have a large fenced in yard that is empty minus a secured shed. We also have a mostly empty dining room for extra space and we allow all pets on all furniture.

I’m patient, attentive, and committed to making pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I have experience caring for pets of different ages and temperaments, including energetic young pets that need extra play and attention, as well as older pets that benefit from a gentler approach and consistent routines. I treat every pet as if they were my own and focus on providing dependable, compassionate care that gives owners peace of mind. 🐾 Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because caring for animals has always been a part of my life. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate quality time to feeding, walks, playtime, exercise, and companionship based on each pet’s needs. I am reliable, organized, and committed to maintaining consistent routines so pets feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away. Whether it’s daily visits, overnight care, or regular walks throughout the week, I make sure every pet receives the attention, care, and affection they deserve. 🐾 When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping them comfortable by following their normal routine as closely as possible. This includes feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, litter box or yard cleanup, administering basic medications if needed, and providing plenty of attention and companionship. I also make sure the home stays clean, secure, and exactly as the owner expects. If caring for pets in my home, I provide a safe, calm, and loving environment where pets can relax, play, and receive plenty of supervision and affection. I pay close attention to each pet’s individual needs, personality, and routine to ensure they feel happy, comfortable, and well cared for at all times. My goal is to treat every pet like a member of my own family. 🐾💕

About: I live in Strathmore and work downtown. My absolute favorite things in life are my sons (who are amazing human beings!) and animals. Now that my sons are independent and out of the house, I enjoy being around and caring for animals. I have experience with all kinds of animals (e.g., dogs, cats, tarantulas, snakes, insects, and more). And I have had and loved dogs of all sizes and temperaments, from mini dachshunds with serious Napoleon complexes to larger-than-life Rottweilers and Great Danes. If you need a trustworthy, reliable, and affordable caregiver, feel free to reach out. :) Rate adjustments are available based on financial need. 😊 I am flexible on evenings, weekends, and holidays. Happy to work around your needs. I work in downtown Syracuse, so I can help with mid-day potty breaks for pets who live in Syracuse when needed. I have a fenced-in yard and live right across from Woodland Reservoir, a terrific place for walks if your pet needs to stay with me. I'm also happy to stay at clients' homes.

About: I have pet sat for neighbors and family friends for years and for long periods of time. I have taken care of dogs, cats, guinea pigs and fish. I also have experience working with reptiles and snakes as an intern for an environment education center. I took care of a box turtle, corn snake, and painted turtle. I am in college full time but am willing to watch or stop by when I am not currently taking a class. I am a junior at SUNY ESF. And have a relatively light schedule that would allow me to dedicate hours to your pet if needed. As I live in an apartment I do not have any pets nor can I board pets. However, I have my own car so I can travel to take care of pets. If you wish to have overnight care I can stay on a couch or blow up mattress by your pet for safe company.

About: No dog deserves the kennel! Why settle for the pound when they can spend a night in a home with an owner-on-loan; either in your house on in a house that has raised two other pets from puppyhood to old age? Admittedly, there are stairs and hardwood floors in my house, but I have bought several carpets for my old dog to move around on and can lay them down for your dog’s convenience. We also have a big backyard that your dog will love to run around in (and no predators, unless you count woodchucks and geese) and a long leash that can go all the way to the end of the property line. I love dogs and after a day with me, your furry friend will mistake me for his mother. I’m most busy Wednesdays-Thursdays, so I marked them out on the calendar, but if petsitting is required for several days, that is easy to accommodate! I also don’t mind waking up every few hours to take a dog out—I have not quite reached the age where sleep is important. I won’t allow your dog to roam around outside unleashed (sorry, but I don’t want to lose them!), but when they’re outside, I’ll make sure they have the freedom to run around to their heart’s content. Additionally, I’m willing to walk them in any weather they’ll put up with and even let them sleep on the couch/spare bed, if they’re not too dirty.

About: I have been pet sitting since I was 16 years old. I have been involved in animal rescue since 1996 after returning home from the Air Force. I am a veterinary technician. My whole life revolves around animals... caring for them, being an advocate for them... being a voice for the voiceless. I have experience with cats, dogs, exotics and ... well, everything! I have a very flexible schedule, as I drive for Uber. I also have all of my rescue cats that I take care of, so I'm rarely out of town and usually available on short notice. I can only care for animals in your home, not mine. Rest assured, they will be treated as if they were one of my babies!

About: I have never taken care of pets professionally, but I have had pets in my house since I was a baby. My first pet was a rabbit. I have had dogs, cats, fish, mice, hamster and a rat. I currently have a dog and 2 cats that are rescues. I am a stay at home mom. My daughter is in Pre-K and is home Tuesday and Thursday, so she comes with me on Rover jobs. She’s been doing this since she was born and loves it. I have plenty of experience with dogs and cats, if you just need someone to let them out to use the bathroom, take them on a walk, or just let them stretch and play, I’m the person for the job

About: I’ve been taking care of my own pets, as well as the pets of family and friends, for as long as I can remember. Animals have always brought joy to my life, and I love the positive impact they have on my mental health and overall well-being.My schedule is very flexible, which gives me plenty of time to provide attentive, reliable care and spend quality time with the pets I look after. I live in a spacious house with plenty of room for pets to play and relax. I also have a partially fenced backyard and a front yard where pets can enjoy supervised outdoor time. In addition, I live near several parks and green spaces that are perfect for walks and exploring, always with your pet’s safety as my top priority. I am currently unemployed but going to back grad school in policy studies at su so I will have pretty of time to devote to taking care of pets. I have a larger house with pets of rooms for animals to play around. I also have a semi fenced in backyard and front yard for out door activists. I also live next to many green spaces and places for animals to explore. Safely of course!

About: Currently just accepting previously established/contacted owners! Growing up my family owned a dog as well as a cat, and I helped tend to the care of both animals in the home. I believe that having this responsibility engraved in me from a young age has helped shape me to be a solid pet care taker now. I was able to experience first hand the changes in a pets life as they age, both behaviorally and physically. I also have taken care of friends and family’s pets in their homes while they are away, most owning multiple types of pets from dogs, cats, and even bearded dragons. I am currently working a full time and part time job; the hours of the full time job can vary on the specific day depending upon the released schedule, but hours of shift typically vary from 8a-4p or 1p-9p; as for the part time job, I work Wed-Fri 1am-6am. outside of said working hours, I would be fully attentive to the pets and inside the home/providing direct care. With this, I seem to best fit with clients who have on-site jobs and a work schedule that allows the pet to be left alone up to 8hrs, as it more closely resembles the pets usual experience within the home. (Updated 4.5.26) Please feel free to ask what my work shifts are for the time you’re interested in potentially booking! I can not unfortunately offer to care for pets in my own home, as it is unfenced and has a cat residing that does best as a single pet. This is something I can recognize, so it is best that I come to the clients home. A pet communicates with people in so many ways, and the best way to create a safe environment for both you and the pet is to understand those behaviors. I have a good understanding of reading an animal and when boundaries are being set, whether they are done with play time and need space, or need some extra attention. Any pet care details left by the owner, I follow very closely to give the pet the closest experience they can get to a typical day in the home with the owner.

Jamie has been such a good addition to my dog team. Roxy, the very busy cattle dog, is sweet but reactive and headstrong. Jamie handles her so well. Roxy loves her, and she’s getting her walk needs met while I’m down with a broken arm. Highly recommend Jamie!
