About: I live in Strathmore and work downtown. My absolute favorite things in life are my sons (who are amazing human beings!) and animals. Now that my sons are independent and out of the house, I enjoy being around and caring for animals. I have experience with all kinds of animals (e.g., dogs, cats, tarantulas, snakes, insects, and more). And I have had and loved dogs of all sizes and temperaments, from mini dachshunds with serious Napoleon complexes to larger-than-life Rottweilers and Great Danes. About: I have professional experience working with dogs in a daycare and boarding setting where I cared for dogs of all sizes, energy levels, and care needs. I helped care for many dogs at a time, monitored their behavior and safety, handled feeding and medication, and fostered personal connections with each and every dog to establish trust and respect. I also have experience with basic humane training and disciplinary practices. Outside of work, my friends and family have always had lots of pets, including dogs and cats, so caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. I've also fostered a number of dogs and done a lot of pet-sitting over the years. I'm patient, attentive, and happy to give pets plenty of playtime, attention, and love. I am currently a full time student at Syracuse University, but my classes only take place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays after 12pm, so the rest of my time can be dedicated to your amazing pets! I am currently living in a pretty small apartment with one of my cats and two roommates so I do not offer any form of care at my residence. However I have my own very spacious car (2020 Honda CRV) which enables me not only to travel to you but also to safely and conveniently transport pets. Additionally, because I am a student at Syracuse University I have unique access to a lot of large and pet-friendly green spaces.

About: With over 20 years of experience handling cats and dogs of all shapes and sizes, I can promise that any pet under my care will receive all the care and attention they need. As I stated, I am very comfortable with both cats and dogs of any breed and any disposition. I am especially experienced handling large dog breeds. I also have experience training dogs and handling older animals. I am also able to administer medication As a teacher, my summers are wide open. I am also available during the school year, with most of my availability being in the late afternoon and evening While in your home, I will maintain a safe and loving environment for your animal. The same care is provided for your pet if it is boarded with me. Boarding amenities include a fenced-in backyard, friendly roommates, and all the cuddles they could want

About: Growing up my family owned a dog as well as a cat, and I helped tend to the care of both animals in the home. I believe that having this responsibility engraved in me from a young age has helped shape me to be a solid pet care taker now. I was able to experience first hand the changes in a pets life as they age, both behaviorally and physically. I also have taken care of friends and family’s pets in their homes while they are away, most owning multiple types of pets from dogs, cats, and even bearded dragons. I currently work a full-time job at a bakery. My shifts/days off would be: Tuesday-Friday 4am-2pm Saturday-Sunday open availability For any overnight sitting needs, I will probably do best with an owner looking for a weekend sitter as my 10hr shifts can be a long time away from the home. On the other hand, for any drop in visits or walks I am free after I get out of work at 2pm to assist in any late afternoon care! As well as my open availability on the weekends I can not unfortunately offer to care for pets in my own home, as it is unfenced and has a cat residing that does best as a single pet. This is something I can recognize, so it is best that I come to the clients home. A pet communicates with people in so many ways, and the best way to create a safe environment for both you and the pet is to understand those behaviors. I have a good understanding of reading an animal and when boundaries are being set, whether they are done with play time and need space, or need some extra attention. Any pet care details left by the owner, I follow very closely to give the pet the closest experience they can get to a typical day in the home with the owner.

About: I’ve have cared for many dogs in my lifetime. I frequently house sat for friends, and family. By day, I work part time at the front desk of a local dog shelter, which keeps me highly organized, safety-conscious, and comfortable with all kinds of breeds. My shifts are in the afternoon. This flexibility means I can easily accommodate early mornings, evenings, or weekend care depending on the week—just shoot me a message and we can always find a time that works! I work part time mid day so I will have plenty of time in the mornings or evenings to provide care for your dog to fit your schedule and needs. I typically spend more time with a dog than the typical owner. I love dogs immensely and give them my full attention when house sitting.

About: I have professional dog walking and in-house dog sitting experience as well as a deep love and appreciation for the wisdom of dogs. From 30 minute - 1 hour walks and visits to longer term care, I’d be thrilled to keep your dog happy when you are away. I’d say I’m quite receptive to dog personalities and can provide pets, cuddles, scratches, walks, dances, etc. Maybe your dog isn’t into cuddling and playing around — that’s okay too. I respect that and will keep a healthy distance. We will walk. We may talk. About: Hello! I graduated high school in 2022. During my senior year I attended the Bixhorn Technological Center for Animal Science Boces. There I learned a plethora of skills and knowledge including but not limited to, both animal behavior and phycology, as well as husbandry, nutrition, and grooming. I am trained and capable of administering insulin, as well as I have experience caring for disabled and paralyzed dogs:) I first joined rover in 2024 while attending community college on Long Island, since then I’ve worked a variety of farm jobs as well. Most recently the Suffolk county farm; there I was responsible for the care and livelihood of a variety of livestock from poultry, goats, pigs, llamas, horses, and cows. Please feel free to reach out with questions about farm help as well I would love to do it again! I stepped back from rover this past year for personal reasons, however I just transferred to SUNY ESF and would love to get back into pet care! Right now, I am attending SUNY ESF here in Syracuse NY. I am looking to explore the city and help others with needed pet care :) I am available for overnight care if contacted in advance, but I am always available for regular potty breaks, walks, and play time as needed. I provide my pets walks twice a day and daily play at home. On the weekends visit the dog park and play catch, get a good stretch and workout for the week followed by a wash!
