About: Hello! I graduated high school in 2022. During my senior year I attended the Bixhorn Technological Center for Animal Science Boces. There I learned a plethora of skills and knowledge including but not limited to, both animal behavior and phycology, as well as husbandry, nutrition, and grooming. I am trained and capable of administering insulin, as well as I have experience caring for disabled and paralyzed dogs:) I first joined rover in 2024 while attending community college on Long Island, since then I’ve worked a variety of farm jobs as well. Most recently the Suffolk county farm; there I was responsible for the care and livelihood of a variety of livestock from poultry, goats, pigs, llamas, horses, and cows. Please feel free to reach out with questions about farm help as well I would love to do it again! I stepped back from rover this past year for personal reasons, however I just transferred to SUNY ESF and would love to get back into pet care! Right now, I am attending SUNY ESF here in Syracuse NY. I am looking to explore the city and help others with needed pet care :) I am available for overnight care if contacted in advance, but I am always available for regular potty breaks, walks, and play time as needed. I have experience both coming for visits and staying in home for pet sitting,

About: I'm an enthusiastic dog walker and sitter that has a passion for dogs and rescuing them. I have been involved in dog rescue and fostering in the Syracuse area for a number of years. I've cared for a number of my own dogs and cats from young to seniors. I've also been a foster parent to a number of dogs when rescues needed someone. I can handle the most challenging of dogs down to little babies and everything in between. Your dog will get plenty of love and attention when I'm around! I give all dogs the same love and affection I would give my own dog and see the importance of cuddle and buddy time along with good exercise. I show confidence when I'm with a dog so that they know there is trust with me from the beginning. I currently work part time, so have plenty of time to spend with your fur baby. I am always available after 3:00 p.m. during the week, before 8:00 a.m. or anytime on the weekends. I've got a very pet friendly home. I live in a single story, ranch house that has a fully fenced back yard. I do not have children at home that we would need to worry about and I'm very respectful if needed to go into a client's home. Safety and security are always at the forefront.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats my since I was about 8. My family and friends often rely on me for pet care and now I work in pet care throughout the day. I hope to show you that you can reply on me too! Hello! I’ve had pets all my life so I’m accustomed to caring for them and I take pride in it. For I would primarily be available on Wednesdays and Fridays as well as weekends ( possibly other weekdays too but I would be happy to talk about any scheduling options if necessary. I also travel between NYC and Syracuse often so I can take on jobs from both areas! I understand that this is a place that will be familiar to the pet in comparison to me so I will do my best to familiarize myself with the home and the pet whilst respecting both the owner and their furry friend to better accommodate.

About: I grew up in Florida surrounded by a wide variety of animals including dogs, and I love being able to care for people’s fur babies like they’re my own. I have experience dog-sitting, dog-walking, and I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes. I’m currently working a part-time job at a bookstore while pursuing my Master’s online through SU, so I have plenty of time to care for your pets! I can easily provide your pet with company in your home or simply go provide them with care and fulfill their needs before leaving. Whatever works best for you! I’ve also house-sit before and stayed with a person’s pet to ensure their dog never felt lonely or without care.

From 30 minute - 1 hour walks and visits to longer term care, I’d be thrilled to keep your dog happy when you are away. About: I work from home, so I am always available for the pets! I love all ages, puppies to older dogs. I had a dog growing up, she just recently passed, so I have experience with all ages. I work from home, so I am available to be with the pets all day long. I love to go on walks so I would love to bring them along with me! About: I have never taken care of pets professionally, but I have had pets in my house since I was a baby. My first pet was a rabbit. I have had dogs, cats, fish, mice, hamster and a rat. I currently have a dog and 2 cats that are rescues. I am a stay at home mom. My daughter is in Pre-K and is home Tuesday and Thursday, so she comes with me on Rover jobs. She’s been doing this since she was born and loves it. I have plenty of experience with dogs and cats, if you just need someone to let them out to use the bathroom, take them on a walk, or just let them stretch and play, I’m the person for the job

About: Hello, my name is Amanda! I grew up around all different types of animals ranging from dogs and cats to birds as my whole family are huge animal lovers! I even helped at a doggy daycare that my family owned some time ago.I originally started dog sitting for my family and friends and decided to branch out to help other animal lovers which brought me here on Rover! I currently 2 dogs.My dog Sadie as well as my dog other dog Libby,who are my world! I recently lost my other dog Gunner,who had doggie dementia so I have experience caring for older dogs that have special needs. When they're here ,your dogs will be treated just as how I treat my own , with lots of love and care. I have a 6 foot fenced-in yard as well as a doggie door so your dogs can go outside .I also walk my dogs everyday and would love to bring yours along if allowed . I eventually plan on going for my nursing degree later next year but am currently home most days.I currently work part-time as a home health aide 4 days a week for 4-6 hours each shift. My dad is with me for part of the year from winter to early spring . I have some experience in handling special requirements/and or medications as one of my own dogs had special needs and requires daily medication for her skin allergies . I also offer house sitting, drop ins and am able to do whatever is required to make sure everyone is taken care of and happy!

About: I am great with animals, dogs love being around me. I enjoy being outside walking them. My experience as a dog walker is limited to my friend’s dog, Leo, who I often dog sat. Being with Leo brought me such joy. It also created space for my friend to prioritize other important tasks for she knew Leo was in trusted hands. I am available for dogs walk from 5pm- 7pm on Tuesday’s and Wednesdays. Sundays 2pm-5pm. Saturday from 12pm- 7pm. Overall this is an exciting part of my day that I look forward to. I walk dogs only when they are on a leash. I bring treats to incentivize the walk. I Give them time to rest, poop and play.
