“Kaylah was an absolute lifesaver! I reached out on very short notice twice this week, and she responded quickly and was more than happy to help. She took amazing care of my dog, Oakley—made sure she was walked, fed, and given lots of love. I came home to a happy pup and really appreciated the updates she sent during the visit. Kaylah is reliable, kind, and clearly an animal lover. I’d definitely book with her again and I highly recommend her to everyone.”

“Jamie is the BEST! We have a super nervous, occasionally reactive dog, and within two thirty minute walks, she’s my dog’s new best friend. She’s great at recognizing body language of dogs, and is always sure to take pictures of my baby on walks and send them over. She also checked to see what tricks Goose knew, and refreshes them with him on every walk. We’re so glad to have her as part of his weekly routine :)”

“Carly was absolutely fantastic! She was perfectly on time, brought a wonderful, positive energy, and came prepared with treats. My pup was clearly happy and excited to walk with her, and I felt instantly comfortable and confident in her care. I'll definitely be booking her again very soon!”

About: **Im sorry but I will not accept a next day booking if I have never met your dog previously, it's for safety's sake!** I've taken care of dogs of all shapes and sizes since I was a little kid. All the dogs growing up were considered "my dogs" by everyone else in the house. I currently have two well behaved dogs, a husky who enthusiastically learned to do basic tricks and a special needs staffie that is a certified couch potato. If your baby has a medication regimen, I can make sure it gets followed. We can be as lazy or active as your baby needs me to be. I also have extensive experience with cats and some experience with ball pythons. My human kids are adults now, so I spend most of my waking time doting over my fur babies; I could consider yours a part of my pack if you'd like! If your dog is an adventurer we can walk for hours. I have two very friendly dogs and two...lets just call them tolerant...cats. I love just watching them go, so I am very engaged with the babies all day long. I'm good at following instructions and I can crate your pet as I come and go if you wish.
“Adriana was an incredible help with our nervous dog who can be a bit ~weird~ with strangers; she had our boy snuggling on the couch with her in just one weekend. She gives great updates and calmed every worry we had this weekend.”

“Pam has been so wonderful to work with! Going back to office is so much easier with Pam walking our dog. She’s friendly, responsive, and we 100% trust in her to keep our dog safe and cared for based on her needs. Selfishly I’d love to keep Pam to myself, but if you need a dog walker, she’s your girl!”

“Well communicative and caring dog walker. Took nice pictures and always kept me updated on how my dog was behaving. Very grateful to be able to hire her on such short notice”

“Kristin was great. I needed someone to walk my dog a few times on a sunday evening. She was able to meet me and Oakley before, and check out my apartment so there were no issue the day of. She provided pictures and updates, along with beginning and ending walk times. It helped keep me at ease, and I highly recommend her!”

About: Schedule-Monday through Friday 6-2:30 I work and weekends off 🫠😁Animals have always been a part of my life growing up. Some of my family has a farm which I got to experience and learn from. I would walk a dog named Molly. She belonged to an older person who struggled with it. All 4 years of high school I was responsible for her grooming, as well as making sure she had plenty of extra love. I truly enjoyed the trust of this pet parent, and Molly that I gained from this time. I wish to continue that commitment now with the pet parents I will be able to meet on here. I truly hope to get the chance to gain your, and your pets trust by reaching there needs. -Christian Rosario My week is surrounded around taking care of my own home and animals. I have flexible hours with my job. If I am unable to be home my girlfriend is there all through the week. She only works weekends as a traveling vet assistant. On those days I am home to reach our animals and your pets needs. They will always be given attention and love. I have a fenced in back yard and two dogs of my own who are trained and help me train other dogs. Both are working emotional support dogs, as we understand they need a purpose to feel a part of the pack. Our house is big enough that no animals have to be together at any point. If this makes pet owners more comfortable and would like there pets separated to enjoy some alone time.
About: I live in Strathmore and work downtown. My absolute favorite things in life are my sons (who are amazing human beings!) and animals. Now that my sons are independent and out of the house, I enjoy being around and caring for animals. I have experience with all kinds of animals (e.g., dogs, cats, tarantulas, snakes, insects, and more). And I have had and loved dogs of all sizes and temperaments, from mini dachshunds with serious Napoleon complexes to larger-than-life Rottweilers and Great Danes. If you need a trustworthy, reliable, and affordable caregiver, feel free to reach out. :) Please note: Rate adjustments are available based on financial need. 😊 I am flexible on evenings, weekends, and holidays. Happy to work around your needs. I work in downtown Syracuse, so I can help with mid-day potty breaks for pets who live in Syracuse when needed. I have a fenced-in yard and live right across from Woodland Reservoir, a terrific place for walks if your pet needs to stay with me. I'm also happy to stay at clients' homes.
“Nora was excellent with our dogs, they came back from walks tired and happy. It was clear that Nora has a ton of experience and is very knowledgeable about dog behavior. Would definitely book her again!”

About: I have experience working with dogs of all sizes, ages, and care needs both in a professional setting and as a pet owner! At my previous doggy daycare job, I walked, fed, administered medication to, and boarded with dogs. I also have cared for cats for 3 years and have some experience caring for birds (and absolutely love them! particularly cockatiels and conures) I currently am a full time student and have 2 days off during the work week thanks to online classes, so more time to care for pets! I live in a large apartment with no personal pets. Dogs would be crated when I’m in class (only a few hours a day, less than 6 usually) and free to roam when I’m home, with at least 2 relief walks a day. I have one female roommate who is also experienced in caring for dogs, but I will be the only one responsible for the dog’s care. Care at a client’s home would all depend on their personal preferences! I am comfortable sleeping over for any type of pet.

Far West-Side dog parents share their Rover experiences
Carly has been wonderful with my senior dog. She is patient with him and goes above and beyond to help him get outside and enjoy his walks. I also appreciate her flexibility when I have asked for earlier or additional visits for him. Been such a relief to have her check in on him when I am at work🙂

Diana has been great with Cooper. He is usually a timid dog, but he feels very comfortable with her. Diana is also very responsive, and sometimes I've reached out to her at the last minute to check in with Cooper, and she has always accommodated us. She is reliable, great with dogs and a pleasure to work with.
We’ve been so lucky to have Jennah taking care of our pup from the time she was just 8 weeks old, all the way through her first year. Super reliable, great at keeping us updated with how the walks went (plus lots of adorable photos!). Jennah was consistent with training reinforcement, whether it was leash manners, basic commands, or working through little puppy quirks at each stage. Jennah clearly loves dogs, and genuinely treats them like her own. Highly recommend!
Megan is fantastic! She’s been walking my dog Tala, and I couldn’t be happier. Tala absolutely adores her and comes home happy and relaxed after every walk. Megan is reliable, punctual, and always provides great updates and photos, which gives me so much peace of mind. It’s clear she genuinely cares about the dogs she works with. Highly recommend Megan to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog walker!
