About: I have years of experience caring for dogs in my family, and my own 60 lb golden mix from puppyhood through adulthood. I have experience pet-sitting for community members, family, and friends. I self-trained my own dog as an ESA to exist peacefully in public spaces, including airports and airplanes. I'm well versed in positive reinforcement training, breed specific personality quirks, and how to handle health emergencies. I understand pet body language and will work hard to speak with your pet and become their friend and confidant, just as I would my own. I am a PhD candidate visiting scholar at University of Chicago and my academic forward personality shines through in the way that I engage with pets, always learning, researching, and understanding. Despite having my own dog, I am able to take on overnight house sitting, drop-ins, or walks, because I have a two-person household and my partner can care for our dog in my absence. I work from home on my own schedule, so I am generally flexible to care for pets any time throughout the day. Occasionally I have in-person meetings or seminars on campus that I need to attend for an hour or two. I respect my clients space, ideally leaving it better than I found it. I'm happy to abide by house rules for your pet and myself, such as whether pets are allowed on the furniture or not, etc.

About: I have owned and loved dogs and cats my entire life. I am currently a Canine Handler/Trainer/Decoy for Dunlap Security and Dog Training. I specialize in obedience and personal protection/k9 decoy work. I have also had experience working with Chasing Tails 4 U Inc. as a dog handler/ play supervisor. I especially love the big mastiffs and bully breeds but am comfortable around all dogs big and small. I look forwards to working with your Dogs and Cats At the moment this is my full-time job. 24hrs of my day is dedicated to dogs and becoming a dog trainer and decoy.
