“I believe Delajah would be an amazing dog sitter because she has had experience caring for her own pets in the past. When they make a mess she cleans it up. When they’re hungry she feeds them . 12. Elena S.
About: I have years of experience caring for dogs in my family, and my own 60 lb golden mix from puppyhood through adulthood. I have experience pet-sitting for community members, family, and friends. I self-trained my own dog as an ESA to exist peacefully in public spaces, including airports and airplanes. I'm well versed in positive reinforcement training, breed specific personality quirks, and how to handle health emergencies. I understand pet body language and will work hard to speak with your pet and become their friend and confidant, just as I would my own. I am a PhD candidate visiting scholar at University of Chicago and my academic forward personality shines through in the way that I engage with pets, always learning, researching, and understanding. Despite having my own dog, I am able to take on overnight house sitting, drop-ins, or walks, because I have a two-person household and my partner can care for our dog in my absence. I work from home on my own schedule, so I am generally flexible to care for pets any time throughout the day. Occasionally I have in-person meetings or seminars on campus that I need to attend for an hour or two. I respect my clients space, ideally leaving it better than I found it. I'm happy to abide by house rules for your pet and myself, such as whether pets are allowed on the furniture or not, etc.
13. Henry M.
“Henry has taken care of our neighbor’s two dogs on many occasions (twice daily drop-in visits as well as overnights) with great care. He has a real love of dogs, cats, and well, all animals.”
14. Sol S.
“Sol was truly so wonderful with our dog, Pony, and came through for us in a big way with a last-minute request (for *four* days of sitting!) Also I think it's worth noting that when we returned, Pony was noticeably better behaved on his leash for walks. Pony's pretty big (85 lbs!) and can be rambunctious, but it was so clear from the get-go that Sol had everything totally under control. He came to us highly recommended by another dog/house sitter we love, and now that we've been able to work together, I would recommend him to anyone!”
15. Cofy W.
“I cannot recommend Cofy highly enough for her outstanding dog-caring services. She is the epitome of responsibility, care, and attentiveness. From the moment we first met, it was clear that she has a genuine passion for animals and a remarkable ability to connect with them. Cofy follows instructions meticulously and is incredibly reliable. Every time Kharter and Lulu see her, they become visibly excited and full of joy, eagerly anticipating the fun times ahead. Even my usually aloof cat has warmed up to her, which speaks volumes about her gentle and kind nature. One of the aspects I appreciate most about Cofy is her proactive communication. Whenever I am out of town, she takes the initiative to provide regular updates, ensuring I have peace of mind knowing my pets are in great hands. I trust Cofy completely with Kharter and Lulu, and I am always confident that they are receiving the best care possible. Her dedication and enthusiasm make a world of difference, and I am so grateful to have found such an exceptional caregiver for my furry family members.”
16. Shakira C.
“Shakira did an awesome job dropping-in on the two girls while we were away. She kept us up-to-date with pictures and let us know when some special needs arose...went above and beyond to take care of them. Highly recommended...we will definitely look forward to booking her again in the future.”
17. Dominique F.
“Dominique did a wonderful job! She was the first sitter I hired for my new pet. Her videos and pictures of my little kitten made me feel a lot better about having to leave. I hope to employ Dominique many times in the future, she makes sure our fur babies are safe and loved.”
