About: All my life, people have been amazed at the way animals gravitate to me. For whatever reason, just about every animal I have met falls in love with me. I personally think it's because they can tell how much I love them! I've been an animal lover all my life. Growing up, there were a lot of different animals in the house, but the one constant was DOGS! Over the years, I have cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I've spent time studying dog behavior, psychology, and training through books and hands-on experience, and I'm always learning more. Whether your dog is a playful puppy, a mellow senior, or anything in between, I'm confident in meeting their needs with patience and care. If you're looking for someone who loves your fur babies as much as you, then look no further! I’m currently studying Graphic Design at TMCC, which gives me plenty of time to take care of and play with your pets in between classes and afterwards. Taking care of animals is incredibly rewarding and provides a much-needed break from studying. Your fur babies will get lots of love, attention, and fun when I'm around! I’m very detail-oriented and always make sure to follow your instructions to the T, whether it's feeding schedules, medications, walk times, or any special routines. We were so happy with Caitland’s care of our pets (2 cats and 1 dog) and our home for 2 weeks. During the M&G, we met Caitland and her husband Mike, who both had friendly and calm vibes right away. Our doggo got them to throw her ball in the backyard while we chatted, and our more social cat solicited pets before they left. It was clear we could be comfortable going on our trip with Caitland and Mike watching over our girls. Once we left, Caitland communicated regularly, though without an overwhelming amount of updates so we were able to enjoy our trip and still know how things were going at home. We got pictures and videos throughout their stay, even of our more shy cat, Maddie, who we expected to rarely engage with them - a sign that Caitland and Mike had good and familiar enough energy to ourselves to make our Maddie feel comfortable. Our other cat, Val, got lots of pets, love, snuggles, and attention, but unfortunately returned to a habit we had thought she had moved on from - peeing on our counters and pooping in potted plants. We felt terrible Caitland had to discover and deal with this. Val hadn’t done this in our current home yet (moved in about a year ago), and our last 2 sitters in the 2 years before hadn’t mentioned this occurring with them at all. To our knowledge, Val had only a few of these “accidents” over the past 3 years - more so the first 2-3 years when the new cat and dog joined our household in 2018ish, but we naively thought Val was not going to revert to this old behavior again. ALL THAT TO SAY…Caitland handled it like a pro! She let us know she had discovered some of these accidents without judgment or anger. Since we have litter robots, we could see both cats were using the boxes daily, and we’ve taken them all to the vet recently enough to believe this behavior was not medical, just acting out. We appreciate how Caitland managed the issue and let us know so we can work on this behavior for future trips away. The day we came home, Caitland went above and beyond our expectations again. The house was clean and tidy, litter and dog poop in the backyard was all picked up and thrown out, dishes cleaned, beds stripped, towels washed, etc. - all more than we asked or expected, and very appreciated! More importantly, we came home to happy and healthy pets thanks to Caitland and Mike. We hope to have them as our pet/house sitters for future trips! Thanks for taking such great care of our girls! If you’re looking for someone reliable, compassionate, and unflappable - even when a cat throws a curveball - Caitland is the right sitter!
The minute my dog Trace met Jocelyn, he instantly bonded with her. We were gone for 2 weeks while she stayed at our house with him. She constantly sent us updates and pictures which helped us enjoy our trip. We did not have to worry about Trace at all. Tara has been watching our animals for almost a year now and it's always a relief when I know she'll be at the house. Our dog has a lot of anxiety and is fear reactive with other dogs and often has trouble with new people. Tara is so great with Onyx and I can tell Onyx feel safe around her. She has also taken care of our rabbits and is great at sending pictures and communication. Highly recommend Tara!
Excellent communication and such a wonderful sitter. She treated our dogs as if they were already family and they loved her. She listened to my requests and asked questions to make sure she had everything down before we left. Our dogs have a lot of energy and Taylor was the perfect fit for them, she is just as energetic as them and you can tell the minute you meet her that she absolutely loves and bonds with animals! She was an outstanding sitter and we highly recommend her if you’re in the Reno area! We will absolutely book her again for sitting in the future should the need arise!
We’re grateful to find Brittany on somewhat short notice to stay with Jack at our house! Jack was a bit out of his norm having another dog at his house but Brittany and Rockwell were so relaxed and easy going. We received regular communication and our house was tidy upon return.
