“Christine was wonderful! This was our first time booking her services, and I would highly recommend her. From our first meet and greet, it was clear she had a lot of experience caring for animals. She was easy to talk to, had good communication during our time away, and went out of her way to care for our dog, Jovi (who can be a bit of a handful and hard to walk sometimes!). She even went out of her way to take him to his favorite park/trail one of the evenings. The coolest thing was finding out she had cared for Jovi when he was a puppy before we adopted him (we’ve had him since he was 1 year old). His previous owner had also contacted Christine for dog sitting, and she was able to look back through her pictures and find young puppy photos of our Jovi! It was totally meant to be! 😆 I highly recommend Christine for all of your animal care needs!”

“Mo was a wonderful sitter. Great energy, great communication, and the boys took to him immediately, which doesn't always happen. Took great care of the house as well. I'd feel very comfortable leaving my pups with Mo again. Will definitely rebook.”

“Ana took great care of our home and high maintenance bulldog while we were away. She communicated daily and sent pictures frequently. I would highly recommend Ana! Thank you!😊”

“The most wonderful sitter for our pets! Always sends the best pictures and is great with updates. Sadly we’re moving and can’t take Misha with us! We’ve been so lucky to have you. Thank you again!”

“Jena was wonderful. She came to meet Brodie before the sitter time. Also was very clean and communicative on how he was doing. She told me when she needed to pop out to work and was kind.”

“Juliana took great care of our Tuff, Toby, and Titus! On top of letting our dog in the back yard a view times during a couple of overnights, she took him for lengthy walks and send pictures. I really appreciate her and recommend her.”

“Laura was absolutely amazing! She is the first dog sitter I have used for one of my pups and I could not have felt more confident with her at my house. She constantly sent photos/ was understanding of my dogs needs and was always available to give me an update! I could not recommend her enough and hope to use her again soon!”

“Tiffany was great with my dog - it was clear she was happy and well taken care of. Tiffany was also flexible with my travel plans and was respectful to my house. I'd be happy to work with her again. Thank you!”

“We hired Aryanna to watch our pit bull over a weekend at our house. She was great with Bailey and really respectful of our home. Aryanna kept us updated and did a great job of sending photos. We will totally work with Aryana again in the future.”

“Shanda is the best! Attention to detail, communication, cleanliness, all of it was great. She filled in on very late notice but came prepared and took care of everything. The boys loved her and she handled everything they threw at her. And she took great care of the house. We will definitely have her back next time we need a sitter.”

“I hired Kelsy to dog sit / home stay for my 8 year old German Shepard mix, Ora. She did a great job and left my place as I left it. Would definitely ask her back.”

About: Hi! My name is Kate and I live in South Austin. I’m looking for a rewarding way to earn a little extra cash and love on some fur babies while I’m at it. I have years of experience pet sitting for friends and family, as well as years of experience with pets of my own. I currently have two dogs and four cats back home and miss them so much. I would love it if you’d let me love on yours, whether that’s through a walk, some playtime, or a drop in visit for some cuddles! As someone with pets of my own that mean the world to me, I understand how stressful it can be to put yours in the hands of someone you don’t know well. That’s why I want to assure you I will go above and beyond to make sure your cats and dogs are happy, taken care of, cuddled, and of course, safe! I’m currently working from home, so my schedule is flexible! I’m also usually here on weekends and happy to take care of your pets on those days, too. I absolutely love loving on cats and dogs, whether that’s with some downtime and cuddles on the couch or some playtime with their favorite toys! As long as your pet isn’t picky about personal space, I’ll always take my time to show them extra attention.
“Sidney and Louis were the perfect sitters for our two boys. They took great care of the dogs, sent lots of updates, and we came home to a clean house. Would definitely hire again.”
South Lamar pet parents share their Rover experiences
Robin stayed overnight with Alfie and Cachi, and we couldn’t be happier with the care they received. She was attentive, reliable, and clearly loves what she does. Alfie and Cachi were happy, comfortable, and well taken care of, and Robin kept us updated which gave us total peace of mind. We came home to happy doggies and a great experience overall. We would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend Robin!

This is the third time Amanda has taken care of Teddy. She is reliable, loving, and responsible. I know my dog is in such good hands and don’t worry for a minute about him. I know he’s getting good exercise and lots of affection. This sit was no exception. Thank you, Amanda, for going the extra mile in sending photos and videos and checking in with me about how he’s doing. He sure loves you and I sure love having you work for us!

Jewel was great with my senior pup, Missy! She even found some creative ways to get her to eat, which I’m still doing because it worked so well. Jewel truly cared and I can’t recommend her enough! I was so nervous to leave Missy behind with someone other than family, but she was great and provided updates while I was away.

Alexa exceeded my expectations. I just moved across the country and don’t know any sitters, my dog is a senior with health issues and very particular needs/care plan, so I really don’t love leaving her these days. But Alexa left my dog and my house in better condition than she found them! Alexa is attentive, conscientious, knowledgeable, confident, communicative, friendly, and tidy. She gave my dog massages, sent regular photos, videos, and updates, understood and followed my dog’s care plan precisely, and even prepped her food and supplements for the day I forgot 🤦♀️ She dealt with potty accidents and an unconventional bed situation with absolute grace. She cleaned and organized my home, which is so lovely to come home to. And when I walked in, my dog was more zen than I’ve ever seen her when I get home from being out of town. Alexa is worth every penny. There is a reason she’s always booked!!!

Shanna is incredibly attentive and detail-oriented — a true natural with dogs. She thoroughly reviewed my care notes, asked thoughtful clarifying questions, and followed everything exactly as needed, which immediately gave me peace of mind. She has a calming presence that was perfect for my anxious pup, and honestly, I’m not sure my dog was even excited to see me when I got home (which I take as the highest compliment). I felt completely secure knowing my dog was in such capable, caring hands. I look forward to working with her in the future!
