About: I’m Jacob, a full time nurse, looking for a side hustle to help pay off my student loans :) If you trust me with your pet(s) I will make them my top priority. I will shower them with attention, and take lots of pictures to update you with about our day. I work 3 days a week. I have plenty of free time during the week for your pet’s needs. It would be such a fulfilling past time for me to care for your animals. I live alone in a quiet apartment with no other animals. There’s a good amount of space. Quick and easy walk to the trail around lady bird lake.

About: I’m new to Rover but not new to pet care! My family has always had cats and dogs so I’m always happy and comfortable around animals. I’m very patient, calm and attentive. My cat was very sick when I first got him but his symptoms were very subtle, the vet said had I not been so adamant about getting him checked multiple times, he probably would not have made it. I love all animals and would bring that level of attention to any fur baby that I sit for. I know that each animal requires specific care and is unique in personality and I am happy to work within whatever sitting style would make your pet comfortable and happy. I am trusted sitter for friends and family and would treat your pet with the care and love that I would treat my own. I just graduated with my masters at UT Austin so I currently have a very open schedule! I drive and would be happy to come by whenever you need. I think that it’s really important for your pet to have the care that you think is best. Whatever your routine or situation I’m happy to accommodate to keep your pet on schedule. For example, I am very particular about how I take care of my own cat in my home. He has an automatic feeder and a water fountain so that he is always fed on time and has enough water throughout the day. Each night I play fetch with him for at least 15 minutes to get his energy out before bed. At night time he sleeps next to me the whole time. This is what works for us but everyone’s situation looks different. If you give me a step by step of how your pet likes to be cared for I can assure you I will do exactly that :)

Marlo can be a bit skittish at times, but is filled with energy- taking him in public can be a bit nerve wracking, but Bella was able to help him get out of his shell to enjoy these new adventures. While she was here, she kept up with Marlo’s puppy training skills, loved on him lots, and bonus- left our home spotless. We couldn’t be more grateful and will absolutely be rebooking!”

Carol was a lifesaver! Having her take care of my two dogs -one whom is a senior girl - allowed me to truly enjoy my vacation without worry about them. This was the first time I had left my senior dog with someone for longer than a weekend, and Carol made the experience completely stress-free. She checked in regularly with photos, was always responsive, and took fantastic care of my old lady. Of course, she also spoiled my other girl with plenty of love and attention! Carol is professional, reliable, and communicative, and she took great care of my home as well. She even had to deal with construction in my backyard while I was away, and it didn't faze her one bit. We love Jaynell! We never have to worry about our pups when we're gone because we know they're in great hands. She keeps us updated while we're away, and our pups are always happy when we get home. She is truly the best, and we can't recommend her enough! She recently stayed with them over the Fourth of July, and our dogs are pretty scared of fireworks. She made sure they got their anxiety meds and took great care of them, which gave us so much peace of mind.

Stephanie is the best! She has watched our crew of four cats twice now and every time delivers care that is above and beyond. She is super communicative and sends a lot of photos! All of the cats were very happy and well cared for including one of our cats who has a URI that requires a few medications. Will definitely work with Stephanie again!!!

Ludo looked after our sheepdog & cat for a week stay and did an excellent job. He was great with the animals, gave them plenty of attention and they were clearly happy & provided lots of updates. Ludo was a great house guest, he left the house very tidy & was very helpful doing additional things like watering & taking the trash bins out. I thoroughly recommend him & looking forward to booking him again in the future! Thank you :)
Our dog and cat were in great hands with Baxter! She was communicative throughout the sit with updates and photos. It’s so important to know your animals are safe and happy, and Baxter provided all of that. Our house was in great shape when we got back as well. Highly recommend!
Mariah stayed in our home and dog sat our two dachshunds over the weekend. She's really genuine and reliable & honest person. She took great care of our fur babies and our home and followed all the instructions we left. I will definitely rebook with her again in the future. It's hard to find people you can count on and trust but she checked all our boxes and was great!!! I highly recommend her if you need a dog sitter!
Marley was wonderful with our two dogs! She was able to accommodate a 4th of July stay on fairly short notice, which we really appreciated. One of our dogs gets extremely anxious with fireworks, and Marley took such great care of her by making sure she got her medication, along with plenty of love, attention, and comfort. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing our pups were in such caring hands while we were away. We’d absolutely book with Marley again and highly recommend her!
