Pet care is an integral part of my daily routine, as I ensure my pet is fed, exercised, and given attention every day. I dedicate time to walk, play, and bond with them, which not only supports their physical well-being but also strengthens our emotional connection. Weekly tasks, such as grooming, bathing, and scheduling veterinary check-ups, are essential for their health. I also maintain their environment by cleaning and organizing their supplies. Overall, pet care adds structure and joy to my life, making it a rewarding responsibility.

Safety, trust & environment
When caring for pets in my home or my client's home, I prioritize their safety, comfort, and well-being. For daily care, I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, and receive regular exercise and mental stimulation. I follow any specific instructions for each pet, such as dietary restrictions, medication needs, or behavioral routines. I provide plenty of attention through play and bonding time to ensure they feel loved and secure. Additionally, I clean their living spaces, including litter boxes or cages, and take care of any grooming needs. If I'm offering services like dog walking, I ensure they get the right amount of exercise and interaction in a safe environment. My goal is always to treat pets with the same care and respect they would receive from their owners.
Information Dina T. would like to know about your pet
Before caring for a pet, it's essential to gather detailed information to ensure their safety and comfort. Key details to know include: Dietary needs: What type of food do they eat, and do they have any allergies or sensitivities? Health conditions: Are there any medications, medical treatments, or specific health concerns to be aware of? Exercise routine: How much exercise or outdoor time do they need daily, and are there any preferences (e.g., walking, running, playing)? Behavioral preferences: What are their likes and dislikes in terms of interaction (e.g., petting, toys, alone time)? Are there triggers for anxiety or aggression? Emergency contact details: Who should be contacted in case of an emergency, and where is their vet located? Feeding schedule: How often and at what times do they eat? Habits and routines: Any specific routines for bathroom breaks, bedtime, or preferred activities during the day. Special care instructions: For instance, grooming preferences or any environmental sensitivities. Knowing these details ahead of time helps create a comfortable and personalized care plan, ensuring the pet's well-being and reducing stress for both the pet and owner
A typical day
When watching pets, I ensure they enjoy a variety of fun and engaging activities tailored to their individual needs and preferences. For dogs, I love taking them on walks or hikes to explore new surroundings, and I’ll incorporate fetch or tug-of-war games to keep them active. If the dog enjoys water, a swim or playing in the park’s sprinklers is also a great option. For cats, I enjoy interactive play with toys like laser pointers, feather wands, or puzzle feeders that stimulate their hunting instincts. I’ll also spend time offering affection, such as gentle petting or sitting together for quality bonding time. My aim is to make sure each pet stays mentally and physically stimulated while having fun.

Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs, and I've always loved them as a part of my family. I currently have three beautiful pups, and they're always taken care of. I walk them all the time every chance I can get (also a good way to stay in shape!), and I grab every opportunity to take them out with me every time I go to places. I love dogs and cant imagine a world without them ever! Note: I do not do daycare during weekdays. I work 8-3 Monday-Friday with some days finishing at 5pm. I can walk your dog(s) before 6am and after 5pm.

Dina did a great job watching our pups! She provided updates often and left our house in great shape

She took great care of my kitty!
Dina is absolutely incredible! She takes care of our two pups and a cat, and is the most communicative about their behavior, their attitude and sends pictures daily! Highly highly recommend!
Dina was exceptional at her communication with us during the entire trip. My cat is very well behaved but she’s old and has a plethora of health issues which does keep me up at night when it comes to leaving her with any sitter . But Dina went above and beyond her care.
