I’ve cared for farms with 6 horses, a dog and 6 cats as well as family homes with 4 dogs, 2 cats, 3 birds and a fish. Whatever the size and diversity of the family I’ve had experience. I’ve been house sitting professionally for nearly a year on Rover and it’s been a heartfelt experience. Not only am I great with the pets I’ll also leave your home looking like it did when you left or better.

Reliable communication: You can count on prompt, reassuring updates and photos/videos around meal times so you always know your companion is safe and happy. An Ideal fit: Because I operate on a calm, structured routine, I'm best suited for independent, house trained adult dogs who are completely comfortable with downtime.

Matthew took excellent care of my pups. He was with them over Fourth of July weekend and had to console them and administer extra meds, both of which I’m thankful for. He was also very communicative throughout my trip. I came home to two happy pups!
Matt did an excellent job watching our dogs and our home while we were camping in Yellowstone. Since we had limited service, we were a little nervous about being away, but he kept us updated with brief messages, pictures, and videos that we could view whenever we had service. When we got home, the dogs were healthy, happy, and clearly well cared for. The house was extra clean, and he even did his best to keep our outdoor plants alive during these extremely hot summer days. We really appreciate the care and attention Matt provided, and we have already rebooked him for our next trip. Highly recommend!

Schedule
Morning: We kick off the day with a morning bathroom break and refreshing walk to stretch our legs, followed by breakfast and a calm transition into the day. Workday Focus: During core working hours, the home transitions into a quiet zone. This is dedicated to independent downtime where dogs nap and relax while I handle my workday tasks. I do backyard bathroom breaks/hangouts if it's fenced in during the day. Evening: We wind down with an evening meal and a final walk to close out the day. Night: A quiet settled home environment for a restful nights sleep.

- Behavioral requirements: To maintain a peaceful environment I require all dogs to be fully house-trained, non-destructive, and capable of settling independently. Exercise routine: Standard bookings include two structured, daily walks to burn off energy and take care of business. Customized Add-ons: If your dog thrives on extra play, specialized care, or deviations from our structured routine, I am happy to accommodate those needs through custom add-on services- just let me know before hand!
