I’ve cared for farms with 6 horses, a dog and 6 cats as well as family homes with 4 dogs, 2 cats, 3 birds and a fish. Whatever the size and diversity of the family I’ve had experience. I’ve been house sitting professionally for nearly a year on Rover and it’s been a heartfelt experience. Not only am I great with the pets I’ll also leave your home looking like it did when you left or better.

Safety, trust & environment
I let dogs out every 4-8 hours unless they request otherwise. For cats I check the liter box at every meal and clean as necessary(if it’s been used). I follow whatever safety instructions you’ll have for the home and clean up after myself and sanitize surfaces and wash and dry the bedding before I leave(if there is cleaning supplies).

Matthew took excellent care of my pups. He was with them over Fourth of July weekend and had to console them and administer extra meds, both of which I’m thankful for. He was also very communicative throughout my trip. I came home to two happy pups!
Matt did an excellent job watching our dogs and our home while we were camping in Yellowstone. Since we had limited service, we were a little nervous about being away, but he kept us updated with brief messages, pictures, and videos that we could view whenever we had service. When we got home, the dogs were healthy, happy, and clearly well cared for. The house was extra clean, and he even did his best to keep our outdoor plants alive during these extremely hot summer days. We really appreciate the care and attention Matt provided, and we have already rebooked him for our next trip. Highly recommend!
Matt was great! Helped us out big time on New Year’s Eve. Our show ran long and he stayed later to be with our husky during the fireworks.
Matthew did a great job watching our two dogs and cat while we were out of town at our home. He was a great communicator and made everything easy. We would definitely use him again.
Words can’t express how wonderful Matthew is! We were a bit nervous using Rover the first time, especially because we were leaving the country for 10 days and have some quirky, special pugs. But Matthew was a total pro and super nice guy! He took such great care of our two pugs and our home. He was very communicative, quick to respond, and super tidy. We loved getting all the pics and videos he shared. He made everything so easy and stress-free. He truly went above and beyond, and we 100% would love to have him housesit and take care of our dogs again. Highly recommend!

Schedule
I work from home and have some side hustles that are flexible in the city. I’m able to spend morning and nights with the pets and more often than not most the day. I’m a homebody.
