“Rachel and Justin are nothing short of phenomenal! Leaving my puppy Queenie in their care was the best decision I made. They treated her like a member of their own family, going above and beyond to ensure she was happy and well-cared for. Their flexibility and warm welcome immediately eased any nerves I had about leaving her with strangers. Queenie not only loved spending time with them but also adored their fur children and their son. I couldn’t be happier with the love and attention they provided. I’ll definitely be choosing Rachel and Justin again in the future for their exceptional care and genuine love for dogs!”

“Denise was so amazing with Finley. Sometimes he takes a while to warm up to people, and within an hour he was sleeping on her lap! We will definitely be using Denise again-- she has a way with animals.”

About: My family got their first dog while I was in high school and I have been caring for dogs ever since! I’ve cared for friends dogs in the past and now I have one of my own who is just the sweetest gal. I’d love to eventually get a second dog but for now caring for others seems like the perfect alternative. I do have a preference for smaller breeds but am open to bigger dogs as long as they can be gentle with smaller dogs. I am currently hybrid at a very flexible job and typically go into the office on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. When I go into the office I go in later in the mornings and spend about 1.5 -2 hrs there. The max time I’ll spend at the office at one point is 3 hours but this is not the norm. Other than that time I spend the majority of my time at home and am able to give your pup all my attention and snuggles. My apartment building has a fenced in dog park where I can take your pup to for potty breaks and safe outside playtime. I also have a balcony with a grass patch for any early morning or late night potty breaks. Pet safety is my number one priority so when I’m not home both mine & your pup would be kept in different rooms with cameras watching them to make sure no one is in distress. I’m also open to doing meet and greets at my place before your pet’s stay with me so that you’ll be able to see what type of environment your pet would be in and how our pups interact with each other. My dog is a 1 year old dachshund who just loves other dogs and would make sure your dog feels right at home!

“Arianne provided excellent care for Izzy. Izzy is usually shy and takes time to warm up to new individuals, but she connected with Arianne very quickly. This immediately put me at ease. I would absolutely recommend Arianne to anyone seeking a caring and trustworthy individual.”

About: I work from home full-time, which means your dog will get plenty of attention, companionship, and supervision throughout the day. I live in a dog-friendly community with a fully fenced-in dog park just steps away, making it easy to get fresh air and playtime in a safe space. I take my own dog on three walks a day (usually 2 miles each), and I love including other pups in that routine if it fits their needs. I’m available during the week and weekends, and I’m happy to accommodate your pet’s specific schedule. When caring for pets in my home, I focus on creating a safe, calm, and comfortable space where they can feel secure and cared for. I live in a dog-friendly building with a fenced-in dog park just steps away, which is perfect for potty breaks and off-leash play. If I ever need to step out briefly, I crate my own dog for safety and structure, and I can do the same for your dog if that's part of their routine or if you'd prefer it.

“Leah is AMAZING!! Knox was so happy and loved her dog Bolo! She took them to the dog park, on walks and he came home so happy!! She made everything perfect for him to feel relaxed and cared for! Best dog sitter!”

“Madeline was great with my husky Lena! While we were visiting Austin I needed daycare for a couple days and Madeline was fantastic. Lena had some anxiety being dropped off in a new place but Madeline was super attentive and took her for long walks. Lena became much more comfy and adjusted and excited to return the second day. She was settled in by the end of her stay. I highly recommend Madeline’s services :)”

About: I've helped take care of family pets since I was 10 years old, and my partner and I have 2 dogs together who I absolutely adore ❤️ More than 50 happy pet parents across Austin know me as a reliable, communicative, adaptable, and trustworthy pet sitter! My two fur babies are currently in training, and through this process I have learned a wealth of obedience skills that I can implement when caring for your pet. I also loved training my first puppy, Lucy, and before she passed later in life, I helped care for her when she was struggling with bladder cancer. I cared for my parent's three dogs, including one fur baby who was very sick at the time and needed medication and medical attention multiple times a day. I've cared for other friend and family pets through extended home stays and quick drop ins for walks and feedings. I work remotely, so I have a lot of flexibility to care for your pets throughout the day and evening. Beginning in October 2025, I will be a full time pet sitter!! I am available weekdays and some weekends, and can accomodate short notice requests. I am also an active person, so if you have very energetic dogs who need to get their zoomies out, I am more than happy to take them on runs, long walks, or play fetch with them! I have a keen attention to detail and am very particular about how I care for myself, my dogs, and my home, so you can rest assured that I will care for your pet exactly as instructed! I am also very safety minded and will make sure to protect your pet, other animals, and other people they may interact with when in my care.

“She takes care of my deaf and partially blind puppy--what more can I say?! He gets lots of walks with her and thrives on her one-on-one attention. I know it's a good day when he comes home tired, which is very hard to accomplish with him. :) I was worried about him being in an apartment, but they go outside so often, it really isn't an issue for him. Vivien is attentive, responsive, and extremely patient with my high energy (and sometimes high needs) puppy. Thanks Vivien!”

“Jackson came back and slept for hours! Happy he got some play time in. We are in town to watch my son race at COTA and with the Austin temps so high couldn’t bring Jackson to the track with us. I didn’t want to leave him in the hotel room all day. Great communication.”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my deep love for animals, my reliability, and my attentiveness to each pet’s unique personality and needs. I treat every pet like they’re my own—whether that means offering extra playtime, being patient with shy or senior animals, or carefully following a specific care routine. I have experience caring for both energetic puppies and senior pets, including administering medication, supporting mobility issues, and ensuring they feel safe and comforted. Additionally, I’ve worked at animal shelters and most recently at the Purrfecto Cat Lounge, where I helped cats and kittens find their forever homes. In that role, I performed health checks, administered medications, and was trained to detect and treat common conditions like ringworm and fleas. This hands-on experience has made me especially confident in caring for animals with special medical or behavioral needs. I also prioritize clear, consistent communication with pet parents, sending regular updates and photos so you always feel connected and reassured while you’re away. I have an extremely flexible schedule and can work around yours accordingly. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friend! Please reach out if you would like to do an initial phone screening if that makes you more comfortable. In my client’s home, I aim to maintain each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible so they feel safe and comfortable while their family is away. I take the time to learn their feeding schedule, walk/playtime preferences, medication needs, and any little quirks or habits that matter. I always make sure they get plenty of love, attention, and mental stimulation while respecting the space and routines they’re used to. When sitting in my own home (if applicable), I make sure the environment is calm, clean, and pet-safe. I provide cozy spots for rest, space for play, and constant supervision. I keep pets separated if needed and always follow any rules or boundaries their parents request. Whether in your home or mine, I treat each pet with the same care and respect I would give my own — with plenty of patience, affection, and communication along the way.

About: My own pup spends the summer with my sister in New Jersey (we co-parent) so I’m looking forward to having a dog in the house while he’s gone! From owning a dog and growing up with them, I have experience managing separation anxiety, oral medications, and generally making sure they are comfortable and get plenty of attention. If you have an active dog, I have a fenced yard and love talking long walks around the neighborhood. I also work from home, so I can be around for the majority of the day. I work remotely so I have plenty of time to care for your pet. I can offer frequent potty breaks and morning/evening walks - with cuddles & play time in between meetings :) I have a fenced yard and no pets or kids in the home, so I’m very flexible depending on what your pup needs, which we can discuss!

“Laura was a great communicator and took wonderful care of Lucy. Lots of pictures, time outside, and comfy cuddles and naps. So glad to have Laura nearby. I will definitely reach out again! 💕”

“Lillian did an AMAZING job taking care of our 3 fur babies in our home for 11 days while we were on a cruise. We have three dogs and one of them was very sick with cancer and needed special food, medicine, care, and attention. Lillian followed all of my detailed instructions to a T. Lillian also watered all of our plants as instructed and took great care of our house, leaving it spotlessly clean. Lillian sent us photos daily and did not hesitate to ask questions as they came up. Lillian LOVES animals and is very nurturing and affectionate. We have employed her as our Dog Sitter, house sitter, and dog walker several times since that trip.”

She is beyond qualified to watch-over anyone's animal and treat them as if their master was still there.”

This is the second time I’ve booked Aine! Athena loves her and she takes great care of Athena! Her dog gets along great with Athena. Aine always carefully follows all feeding and care instructions, sends great updates and pictures, and it overall a joy. I will definitely continue to use Aine as Athena’s primary dog sitter.
