“Samantha was amazing with my puppy Henry! She as patient and kind and kept in contact with me to update me on his status during her drop in visit! I know he’s in good hands with her during his weekly visits”

“We cannot say enough about what a wonderful experience Violet gave to our pups and their humans. She went above and beyond and they both adore her as do we. She’s amazing, kind and very good with our dogs . We are so lucky to have her”

“Sara was great with our little puppy. He loved having her come play with him while we were out of the house. Very easy to work with and respectful of our home. Followed our instructions and our puppy looks forward to her visiting again!”

“Francesca was so excellent! We had to leave our kittens home during the holidays, and she stopped by every morning (and even on the evenings of Christmas and Christmas Eve) to spend time with them and make sure they had everything they needed. We eagerly awaited her updates and photos of our kitties every morning—just a little something to keep us close to them. We’ll definitely be booking her again the next time we need a sitter and would recommend Francesca to anyone needing a thorough and compassionate pet sitter to care for their furry friends.”

About: I provide thoughtful, full-time, in-home care where your dog is treated like part of the family, not just supervised. I’m home full-time, which allows me to provide consistent supervision, flexible routines, and individualized care based on your dog’s personality and needs. I work especially well with dogs who benefit from a thoughtful approach— whether that’s high-energy pups who need engagement, shy dogs who need time to warm up, or seniors who need a slower, more gentle pace. My focus is always on helping each dog feel safe, settled, and understood while they’re away from home. My space is designed with safety and comfort in mind. I have a large fully fenced yard and take introductions slowly and intentionally with my dog, Winny, who is a playful, happy companion and often helps visiting dogs feel more relaxed and at ease. I create an environment where each dog can settle in at their own pace. I keep my bookings limited so each dog receives the attention and care they deserve— this is not a high-volume setup. You’ll receive regular photo and video updates, so you can relax knowing your dog is safe, happy, and well cared for. I also offer flexible scheduling and optional pickup/drop-off within a reasonable distance to make travel days as smooth and stress-free as possible. I’m home all day and can be very flexible with schedules, feeding times, walks, and routines. This allows me to give each pet plenty of attention, enrichment, and reassurance throughout the day so they always feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away Your peace of mind and your pet’s safety and emotional wellbeing always come first. For this reason I send daily updates with photos/video so you can be at ease knowing your baby is being well taken care of. When caring for pets in my space, I have a fully fenced yard and a built in playmate. I do very slow, supervised introductions with my own dog, Winny, who is a very playful, happy girl. If either dog prefers space, I can easily accommodate comfortably separating the pups as needed both indoor and outdoors.

I live across the street from a big field and usually take pups on walks there or around my neighborhood. I can also take them to a fenced in park nearby if the owner is okay with that. About: I’ve had dogs my whole life of all ages and cared for my friends and others along the way. Dogs have always been a part of my life. And I have developed a new found love for cats since becoming a cat aunt. I’m a therapist who works different hours than regular 9-5 which allows me to have my mornings and early afternoons most days. It’s always been a side job of mine. Dog safety is priority. Dogs are part of the family in my home and are always monitored while either in the yard or house. Time is usually spent alongside dog.
About: I’ve had my furry pet for 12 years before she crossed the rainbow bridge last year. I have cared about pets to a more deeper and emotional extent since I had her. I would love to spread all the joy and tenderness to another pet whenever I get the chance to. I am flexible the most during weekends and two days during the week. Pet care fits into my schedule best and I will be down to accept any gigs that will allow me to be flexible. I am very attentive when it comes to my pets needs and I do my best to keep them entertained. I make their day to day look slightly different to enhance entertainment and excitement.
About: I grew up with dogs all my life, from puppies to seniors I always made sure they always had the best dog life to live. It is important to always be flexible for your fur babies because they are just as unpredictable as humans are. I always make sure to always be attentive to their needs and never neglect them when they need you the most. Dogs as they get older develop their own routines themselves and will make sure their humans are aware of it too which is important to always pay attention. I care for the pets in my home and others by always respecting their boundaries and always making sure they are comfortable and safe first.
South Huntington pet parents share their Rover experiences
Madison went above and beyond my expectations of any other cat sitter I’ve ever had before. She fed, watered, played with and pet my cherished fur babes! There were six litter pans to clean and some of the older cats don’t make the litter plan. She sent me pictures of the cats, food, water and clean litter pans everyday.

I had a wonderful experience with Julia caring for my dogs and cat while I was away. From the start, she was extremely punctual and professional. She even took the time to visit beforehand to learn exactly where everything was, like the food, water bowls, and cat litter showing how committed she was to making sure everything would be perfect. During her time with my pets, Julia stayed in great communication, sending me regular updates and the cutest photos that really put my mind at ease. It was clear she genuinely cared about my animals and took her responsibility seriously. I highly recommend Julia to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful, and caring pet sitter. She truly went above and beyond!
