About: I’m a true lover of dogs! I have a very friendly 11 year old Shih Tzu Bichon mix, a 9 year old son and 6 year old daughter. I have a completely fenced backyard on an acre of property. I take an evening walk after dinner every night and would love to bring your pup along with me! I have a flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate time and attention to the pet I care for. I can focus on their needs, including, feeding, exercise and and special instructions I am given. I have a very large fenced in backyard. My neighborhood is very safe. My home is on one level with plenty of couches and beds to sleep on. I have 1 dog and watch no more than 1 dog (siblings are an exception) at a time to give them the attention and comfort they need.
About: I can still cry when I tell someone the story of when I got my first dog at 13yrs old. I held that adorable golden retriever pup and cried asking if it was really mine! The story of bringing another golden retriever into the lives of my daughters can yet again bring me to tears! Such precious memories! I am now on my second chocolate lab (easier hair drying time lol). Anyway a dog enters my life it is always special. That includes my daughter's cockapoo who has stolen my heart! Whenever I am out and see a dog, no matter what the breed, I always ask to say hello and give a pet! My family and friends sometimes call me the "Dog whisperer" because I am always ready to help should a question arise about care. I have cared for friends and family dogs many times and am ready to help with yours and create a special bond while doing so! I'm currently working in a school. Therefore, my availability during the week is limited. I am available for pop ins and walks after 4pm. Saturday and Sunday I have more availability and during the summer months. I understand life can be busy, so I am absolutely willing to work with you and around busy schedules :) I follow all instructions given by the owner, and live in an extremely animal friendly complex! About: Neighbors and family have relied on me to care for their pets, including elderly and special needs animals, as well as exotic reptiles and birds, many times. I’m a part-time student in eco-toxicology at this time studying online so I’m around full time for pet care, feel free to reach out for care any day of the week! I live with my large family, and my roommates have two dogs and two cats, all of which are friendly. We have two spare crates for visitors so let me know if your dog is crate trained! Please keep in mind that my partner joins me for house sitting bookings. We have two cats together and he is also certified by Rover :)

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing Experience with Matt & Kristina! Matt & Kristina were absolutely amazing from start to finish! From our very first meet-and-greet, they took the time to get to know Rocky and make sure he would be a good fit for their family and their two beautiful dogs. Matt showed us their yard and explained where Rocky would be safe to run around and play. He gave us a full rundown of everything and patiently answered all of our questions, which immediately made us feel comfortable and confident leaving Rocky with them. We ended up booking a full week! Throughout Rocky’s stay, we received regular updates, pictures, videos, and text messages, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was so wonderful to see how happy and comfortable Rocky was. He got along great with their family dogs and even their super-cute daughter! You can truly tell that Matt & Kristina genuinely care about the dogs in their care and treat them like family. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We highly recommend Matt & Kristina and will definitely be booking with them again in the future, especially when we need to travel out of the country.
