About: Hi I’m Megan! I studied animal science at the University of Vermont so I absolutely love spending time with pets and I know a lot about animal needs! I am back at UVM for grad school, and excited to get some quality time with animals in! I interned at a vets office and I also worked with sled dogs (Siberian huskies) throughout college and did all of the care for them. I have experience raising puppies and caring for senior dogs, and love both. Specifics for what you want for your pet are always appreciated! I love to be active and go for walks and having a dog with me makes it so much more enjoyable! Whenever I have a pet they become my best friend for the time we spend together and I take their care very seriously. About: I’ve grown up with dogs but have experience sitting for both cats and dogs. In addition, I spent 8 months volunteering for the humane society walking dogs. I love going for walks, hikes, and anything outdoors. Heather Rae was absolutely fantastic! My friend who normally watches my dogs was out of town, and I had never left them with anyone else - naturally I was a bit nervous, and two weeks is a long time. But Heather right away made me feel like my two pups were in good hands, and that was affirmed when one of them needed an unexpected late night vet visit to manage his ongoing illness. She immediately noticed he was off and let me know, and didn't hesitate to drive him to the emergency vet when asked. I am super grateful for her attentiveness and care, and on top of that my house and plants frankly look better than when I left them! 11/10.
