“Julian and Jocelyn are the most wonderful hosts Brooklyn has ever had! My baby Brooklyn recently stayed with them for almost a week. From the moment we met for a meet-n-greet, I was completely comfortable with Julian and Jocelyn which is rare for me. I think it was a combination of their apparent genuine love for dogs, their experience with dealing with different personalities of dogs, and the fact that they asked very specific and thoughtful questions about Brooklyn, that put my mind completely at ease. During the stay, they spent lots of quality time with Brooklyn, took her to the park regularly, and had plenty of cuddle time with her. I was afraid that Brooklyn would not want to come home afterwards! As well, Julian and Jocelyn were very attentive to Brooklyn, sent very detailed updates about Brooklyn's day and when they noticed Brooklyn was licking her romp a little more than usual they immediately brought it to my attention. In addition to being great hosts to Brooklyn, this couple was also more than accommodating with drop off and pick up. I was traveling to an area with impending threat of Hurricane Mathew and my travel plan was up in the air the day before my planned departure. Julian and Jocelyn were totally understanding and remained flexible with the drop off and pick up time/ date which was super helpful. Overall, I cannot say enough great things about this couple as they have been amazing throughout this experience. In fact, this has been the first trip during which I have not had some kind of panic attacks due to lack of communication with Brooklyn's host, which makes the vacation that much better. Without a doubt, I would not hesitate to leave Brooklyn with this couple again, and highly, highly recommend them to other dog parents. That is, of course, when they don't book them when I need to leave Brooklyn with them :).”

About: I have taken care of all sorts of animals from farm animals to house pets. I have owned many dogs and cats in the past and now. I currently have 2 huskies and 2 cats of which I completely take care of. I also have work experience when I had a job in Texas working at a doggy daycare, I learned basic training methods along with gaining the proper experience to understand dog behavior. I have a relatively open schedule, I do work two other part time jobs one being mostly night time shift and the other is whenever I choose to work. Please know I try my best to help anyone even last minute requests, but sometimes I may not be available if asked to late! I always am happy to try to be available for everyone. This makes me pretty much 24/7 available, but it’s usually best if you schedule at least a few days to a week in advance. Prices for all of my services are not negotiable, depending on the service/details. To ease your comfort I offer a free meet-and-greet visit before any paid service is handled. This isn’t required before services, and I’m usually confident enough to go without one, but it can help answer any questions you have and ensure your pet is comfortable with me. If issues were to arise while I take care of your pets their safety is the first priority to me. I will be gentle and patient with any pet cared for.

“Bianca was kind and came by beforehand for a rundown, which was much appreciated! She is clearly a cat person who is dedicated to her pet sitting commitments. I removed a star because she had a last minute mix up with her work schedule and texted us the morning we were leaving to let us know she could not come within the agreed upon time window, which left us scrambling calling neighbors and friends asking for backup. She ended up getting her work schedule moved around to make it work, which we really appreciated, but she was not able to stay the full 30 minutes at that time. This delayed us leaving on our trip by about two hours, which was a challenging start for us. With that being said, we really appreciated Bianca going above and beyond to get her work schedule moved around when things went awry.”

About: I grew up with many dogs normally two at a time. I grew up with a great pyrenees and bernese mountain dog. We have a french bulldog now and a pit bull so I am good with any breed!! About: I have always been around dogs and other pets since I was a baby, and have always loved and cherished them. As an adult we have raised and taken care of three cats and dogs. While in the military for 10 years, I was responsible for taking care of many other pets, especially dogs, for other service members while they traveled or deployed. My dog Nigel and I tend to make fast friends with any other dogs we meet! I recently got out of the military, and moved back home to Vermont. I am currently not working, and will be working on online college courses from home for the foreseeable future. Therefore I have a very flexible schedule, and can make all the time necessary to keep any pets entertained and well taken care of! I have a very sweet four year old male English Cream Golden Retriever, named Nigel, who loves friends more than anything (other than treats) and will be my permanent doggie daycare assistant. We have a large 2.5 acre property that is partially fenced, with large yard space to run in, and wooded nature trails in the back for walks and lots of sniffs. We are also about 5 minutes away from a beautiful dog park and miles of nature trails that we try to go to every day.

About: I've had pets my entire life. For over 40 years, I've raised puppies and kitties into well-behaved, loved members of my family. I have some experience giving medicine and training. I work from home 4 days of the work week and even on the day that I’m away, pets are never left alone for more than 5-6 hours a day, which is rare at that. I walk our dog daily and there is plenty of time to go out and play in a fenced yard multiples times during the day. As mentioned above, we lets our dogs get plenty of fresh air and exercise and they are rarely alone for long stretches at a time. If I'm taking care of a pet in their own home, those pets can get walks and regular visits based on their needs.
About: I’ve had dogs since I was a toddler. I currently have an almost 1-year old big goofy catahoula leopard/pitbull mix. I routinely dog sit for extended family and I have fostered for a local dog rescue. One of my favorite activities is taking a dog for a nice neighborhood walk or an active hike. About: I’ve spent many years volunteering at shelters. Dog walking at a very young age started walking dogs in my neighborhood as a kid. It’s only progressed from there. I have training skills in potty training, commands, etc. I have some minimal behavioral training as well. I wake up at 6:00 am everyday. The dogs will get fed shortly after being walked. From there they will be walked every 4 hours. Plus they will get play time for example hike, running, fetch, swimming, etc. I do have 4 dogs in my home. They are all very friendly and well trained. They have been through extensive dog training. I also have enrichment toys to help keep your pups occupied. I have the ability to separate the dogs if needed. I do also have the knowledge of medication administration. I do make sure to monitor the entire time. Will be sure to send photo and video updates.

About: Fueled by a genuine and passionate love for animals, I was a small-animal veterinary technician for 9 years. This led me to earning a pre-veterinary science degree from the University of Vermont followed by a job working at Cornell University Veterinary Specialists' small animal hospital. I have since changed my career but still pursue animal care in my free-time. This includes pet sitting, dog walking, and anything else you may need. From dogs and cats to bunnies and birds, I had it all growing up and this pet hobby has transcended into my adult life. I'm confident administering medications, trimming nails, scrubbing your fish tank, or simply walking and playing with your pets. My friends, coworkers, and family have relied on me for years for top notch pet care. I currently work from home full-time and therefore have a lot of flexibility to come care for and play with your pets! I take my own dog on walks, hikes, or to the dog park every day and would be glad to do the same with yours. Ample exercise = a happy pet! I care deeply for animals and will do all I can to keep them safe, happy, and health. I have a fenced-in yard in the New North End of Burlington that is perfect for supervised dog play and exploration. We are also just a 5 minute walk from the Starr Farm Dog Park. About: I’ve been taking care of all sorts of animals since I was young. Walking, training and feeding dogs… scooping litter boxes, feeding and playing with cats… almost anything you can imagine when it comes to pet care! I also have experience with reactive dogs, as my girl Olive is still finding her confidence as a previous stray and working on her leash reactivity! “Had a great experience booking daily walks for three days with Jenna. Had to book super last minute and she was kind enough to accept and be flexible with us. She provided a rover card for each walk showing how far and long they walked as well as if my dog pooped 1-2x which was rlly helpful for me. jenna also went the extra mile of feeding him and making sure he ate after his walks while also keeping him company for a good amount of time afterwards too. All of which was rlly appreciated, well communicated, and shows how much she cares! I also received a daily picture which I looked forward to everyday :) not many dog walkers would do all of this but she did. Also, it was rlly important that my dog goes on a 30 min walk once every 24 h or else he won’t eat and starts throwing up from starving himself and she responsibly did show up within the asked/ flexible time frame:) Would book another walk with her in the future”

“Julian and Jocelyn are the most wonderful hosts Brooklyn has ever had! My baby Brooklyn recently stayed with them for almost a week. From the moment we met for a meet-n-greet, I was completely comfortable with Julian and Jocelyn which is rare for me. I think it was a combination of their apparent genuine love for dogs, their experience with dealing with different personalities of dogs, and the fact that they asked very specific and thoughtful questions about Brooklyn, that put my mind completely at ease. During the stay, they spent lots of quality time with Brooklyn, took her to the park regularly, and had plenty of cuddle time with her. I was afraid that Brooklyn would not want to come home afterwards! As well, Julian and Jocelyn were very attentive to Brooklyn, sent very detailed updates about Brooklyn's day and when they noticed Brooklyn was licking her romp a little more than usual they immediately brought it to my attention. In addition to being great hosts to Brooklyn, this couple was also more than accommodating with drop off and pick up. I was traveling to an area with impending threat of Hurricane Mathew and my travel plan was up in the air the day before my planned departure. Julian and Jocelyn were totally understanding and remained flexible with the drop off and pick up time/ date which was super helpful. Overall, I cannot say enough great things about this couple as they have been amazing throughout this experience. In fact, this has been the first trip during which I have not had some kind of panic attacks due to lack of communication with Brooklyn's host, which makes the vacation that much better. Without a doubt, I would not hesitate to leave Brooklyn with this couple again, and highly, highly recommend them to other dog parents. That is, of course, when they don't book them when I need to leave Brooklyn with them :).”
