About: I've spent years hands-on with animals through my volunteer work with Saint Nicholas Animal Rescue and Merrymac Farm Sanctuary, and years of pet sitting growing up in NYC so caring for your pet isn't new to me, it's something I already do because I love it. I'm patient, attentive, and comfortable with pets who need a little extra reassurance. I treat every animal in my care like it's my own: regular check-ins, plenty of attention, and a personal update from me so you're never left wondering how your pet is doing. I have a dog myself and have had a cat(s) most of my life. I have taken care of cats that needed medication as well. Pet care fits naturally into my routine right now, my schedule is flexible since I'm building my own business, so I have real availability across weekdays and weekends rather than being squeezed into just a couple hours a day. I check in consistently and never rush a visit and will do my best to work around your schedule. Your pet's safety and comfort always come first. In my home, my dog Monty stays in his own separate space when I'm caring for a cat, so there's no stress or unwanted interaction. I keep a calm, quiet environment, follow any care instructions exactly as given, and send regular updates so you always know your pet is safe and well cared for.

About: I've always taken care of animals, my family has always fostered animals so even young I loved taking care of them and I even trained my own service dog but I really love animals. I get called the animal whisperer so I believe I gotta be pretty good :) I work part-time with school where I have a break every 1-2 hours so i have plenty of time to take care of the animals needs! Well honestly it depends on every animals different need. Some want more pets, some like treats, some like extra stimula or walks so it's up to the client!

About: I am very new to pet care, but have loved animals since I was little. I will always be sure to handle your pets with care, joy, and respect. Thank you! Currently I’m working a seasonal job that will end October 16. After this, I will be free on weekdays and weekends. I’m very excited to meet your pets! I do not offer house sitting at my home due to my apartment building being a pet free zone. But I do offer pet play dates, dog walking, and house-sitting at your residence. I will always make sure your pets are feed, had their potty breaks, and have had their walks!

“Had a great experience booking daily walks for three days with Jenna. Had to book super last minute and she was kind enough to accept and be flexible with us. She provided a rover card for each walk showing how far and long they walked as well as if my dog pooped 1-2x which was rlly helpful for me. jenna also went the extra mile of feeding him and making sure he ate after his walks while also keeping him company for a good amount of time afterwards too. All of which was rlly appreciated, well communicated, and shows how much she cares! I also received a daily picture which I looked forward to everyday :) not many dog walkers would do all of this but she did. Also, it was rlly important that my dog goes on a 30 min walk once every 24 h or else he won’t eat and starts throwing up from starving himself and she responsibly did show up within the asked/ flexible time frame:) Would book another walk with her in the future”

I also have experience with reactive dogs, as my girl Olive is still finding her confidence as a previous stray and working on her leash reactivity! About: There's nothing worse than having to leave your pet with someone you don't fully trust to care for them the way you will. Growing up with dogs, cats, rodents, fish, turtles, etc. instilled a strong sense of responsibility in me for detail-oriented and fiercely loving care for all types of pets. Among my friends, colleagues, and relatives, I have become the go-to person for drop-in walks, petsitting/house sitting, and more. Traveling or needing an extra hand taking care of your pet should not have to be a source of stress - I hope to be able to bridge that gap for you. Spending time with your sweet pet is just an added bonus! I have experience caring for dogs and cats under a year old all the way to senior pets who may require more attention (like medication administration). I have experience walking more than one dog at a time, as well as walking larger dogs up to 100lbs independently. I love playing with animals and see stimulating play as a vital part of caring for them while their owner is away. I work full-time for the University of Vermont - while I do work primarily in person, I have hybrid flexibility when I am not meeting with clients and am able to step away from work when I want and need to. My late afternoons, evenings, and weekends are typically free and flexible outside of rest and relaxation! I am located very central to the University of Vermont campus, the South End, and the Old North End. I can travel by foot, car, and bike. My shared living environment limits me from boarding animals in my home. However, I am happy to care for your pets in the space they're most comfortable in and familiar with! I can come and go from your home for drop-in walks, longer walk outings, and overnight stays if necessary. I will respect you and your pet's space and belongings. Cleanliness, organization, and safety are of the utmost importance to me.

About: Hi my name is Lily and I am an avid animal lover! I am an experienced professional dog walker and pet sitter. I have worked professionally for a local dog walking and pet sitting company in my hometown of Richmond, Virginia and this was easily my favorite job ever! I love the canine companionship and have been a dog owner and care giver since I was very young. I have grown up around dogs (very big and very small) and always loved helping my family raise our dogs throughout childhood and into raising my own cat and dogs for the past 20+ years. I have a small chihuahua named Lola who I rescued from the Richmond VA SPCA 11 years ago. She's very sweet and loves play dates with other dogs but never minds hanging back at home with the rest of her pack. She enjoys shorter walks in her senior years and can often be found soaking up the sun and recharging in the backyard in the warmer months. For six years Lola had a close chi companion named Paco who I rescued from Tennessee in 2020 who is unfortunately no longer with us. He sadly lost his battle with congestive heart failure in January 2026 and Lola and I miss him so much everyday. In Paco's early rescue months it took a lot of time and compassion for him to open up into the sweet boy he was. He lived a very happy and fulfilled life until the end. Helping him blossom into the best, most perfect chi, was easily one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Lola and I have settled in South Burlington, Vermont and despite the cold winter months, we love our new home! In addition to being a professional dog walker and pet sitter with Barksley back in Virginia, I have also provided pet care for my friends and families fur babies for many years now. I am naturally an active person and love going on long walks in the neighborhood or just hanging out in the yard playing fetch. Do you love the dog park? I do too! I have great doggie transportation with ample room in the back of my Subaru Forester for your pup to relax in if the adventure takes us on the road. Your pet will be sure to be in the best hands with me on any adventure we go on and I look forward to playing fetch with them in the future! As a long time dog owner Iv always kept a daily routine based around caring for my pets. That usually means early mornings letting the pups out and feeding them before getting the day started. We always go on our daily dog walk and on the weekends my pups love an adventure outdoors. I have a Petcube camera and baby gates that keep my pups safe while I’m away. We allow our pets on the furniture and love snuggling up to them. They also have many beds available for snuggling if they want as well. We keep fresh water available in multiple spots throughout the house. When I’m dog sitting or boarding I make sure to ask the owner what their pet prefers in terms of a bed or crate. I also make sure to get any information on feeding and potty breaks, or any other funny quirks I would need to know about your fur baby! While boarding dogs, I make sure to check in on the pet cube camera if i ever need to spend any amount of time away.

She was helpful and listened well and the dogs came back in good spirits having had a good walk.
