Hello my name is Heather Rae! I am animal lover through and through. I am very excited to meet you and your pets. I know it is hard to leave your pets when you are away. It is my job to make this process easy for you and them. I will stay at your home while you are gone, so that your pets will be comfortable and in their normal surroundings. I will also be able to keep an eye on your home, water plants, bring in the mail, taken trash bins to the curb and back. This will leave you with an added bonus of having a house sitter too. Your pet will not be just a client to me, we will become friends. During our meet and greet I will learn your pets daily routine to make sure that they are able to keep as closely to their normal routine as possible. So that you know your pet is having fun I will be sending you pictures and updates through our time together. Letting you know their behaviors and what fun things we may have done together that day. I am experienced with dogs and cats of all sizes and ages, blind, deaf, dietary restrictions and/or oral medications. Oh, I am experienced with exotic pets and chickens as well. I have been around animal my entire life and know the amount of joy they bring to our lives. I'd love to learn more about your pet so I can provide them with the best care. To the best of my ability I will give your pets the schedule they are use to. We will snuggle on the sofa to a good book, go on walks and play around.

We are so glad to have found Heather! I have always been apprehensive about leaving my fur baby and especially so now that he is elderly annd blind. This was our first time leaving him with a pet sitter as opposed to a family member and Heather was amazing! She came over when we first chatted to meet us and then again just prior to our trip to go over everything. While we were gone she sent many pictures to keep us updated and it definitely put me at ease. She was great with Enzo and he was happy to be able to keep his daily routine😊
Heather was great - connected with the animals, left our home in great shape and was a good communicator (much better than we were!!). Would love to have you again!

Schedule
I am currently able to help out when my schedule is free and my calendar will be update to the best of my ability. I will be very upfront with my availability. I am only available in the North Hero, Grand Isle, South Hero or vey close to the Islands on the Vermont side.

- I would like to know all your pets quirks and what they enjoy the most. What they have known issues about so that I can keep a close eye on those things. Learn about daily routines and eating habits. Learn if they are allowed treats for good behavior. All knowledge is good in my eyes.
