About: I’m Emily! A little about me: I love to run, lift, paint, and read. I am currently a student at the University of Pittsburgh studying Speech Pathology and Audiology who’s home for the summer! I've been a pet owner myself for about 5 years now. My family currently has three cats and has had a dog and another cat in the past. Within the last seven years I have dog and cat sat for a lot of my extended family and friends. I'm currently on the hunt for a part-time job for the summer, so I have plenty of time on my hands to look after and care for pets. I also have my own car and am hanging out with friends a lot, so I am always around. I am very diligent with making sure doors and windows are shut and locked to ensure that your pets do not go in or out (if they're indoor pets/ not on a leash) as I have to do that with my own pets! I also realize as it grows hotter, animals become dehydrated and hot as well, and I am careful to make sure water bowls are filled, and there is water during walks as well.

About: I've grown up with dogs and cats in my household my entire life. I have trained puppies all the way to providing extra love and TLC to senior dogs and cats. I have 2 cats and one Pitbull mix at home :) My Pitbull mix is reactive who has improved by leaps and bounds due to my training--I am very familiar with reading a dog's body language and reacting accordingly. I work part time as a First Responder at the local EMS agency and am recently starting school to further my career. I have a very flexible schedule and I will bring patience, fun and lots of love to your furbabies! I worked as a Veterinary Assistant for one year at a local vet clinic--I am comfortable with medication administration and have experience with recognizing medical conditions in our fur babies as well. Medication and injections are free of charge! I will provide you with updates and pictures at each visit unless specified otherwise so just let know! :) My intent is make you, the pet parent., feel at ease with me coming into your home and caring for your pets. Whatever is instructed by the pet parents will be completed. Guaranteed routine feeding and watering to be done at every visit. Any mess made from your pet will be cleaned and taken care of during the time I am taking care of them. I am not responsible for any destructive behavior from the pet that causes destructive damage to the home or property. About: I’ve only seriously taken care of dogs on my own for the past 6 years. My neighbor has hired me many, many times over the many years we have known each other to take care of her pets, but on my own she has hired me for just about the last 6 years. I’ve taken care of 2 dogs at once and have given oral meds to dogs before. i work full time, but i can 100% make time for all your pet sitting needs! i work 12-9 MON/TUES/THURS/FRI/SAT. i can come in the mornings to watch your furbabies while also coming on my lunch to check in. we can always work out a schedule in which works for us both I can do just about anything you need for either dogs or cats!
