Dogs, cats, exotics and farm pets!
My parents opened a boarding kennel in 1989. I’ve been in animal care for my entire life. I’m experienced with scared and behavioral dogs and can read animal language pretty well. I’m knowledgeable regarding most dog breeds and generally know what medical issues are common to what breeds. I’m patient and have no problem giving animals the space they need, if necessary. I’m also experienced in farm animals and exotics. I do own ball pythons and small mammals. Only two dogs will be walked at any given time regardless of size or strength. If determined to be a strong or skittish dog, I may decide to walk only one dog at a time for safety and liability reasons. In this case, the time that you are paying me for will be split between all dogs. Medication and injections are free of charge! I will provide you with updates and pictures each time I visit your home. Should you not want updates or want more than I offer, just let me know! I want you to feel at ease with me caring for your family pets. Whatever instructed by pet parents will be completed. Routine feeding and watering will be done at every visit. I will clean up any mess that your pet makes during the time I am caring for them, however, I am not responsible for any destructive behavior that an animal may conduct in the home or on the property. PLEASE NOTE: Overnight visits include me staying overnight and conducting drop-in visits for 30 minutes every 6-8 hours during the day. Extra time requested will be an additional fee. I do NOT offer continuous care as I do need to freely leave during the day to care for my family, home and personal pets. Thank you for understanding.

***New Policy**** - Dogs will no longer be walked on harnesses or any kind. Too many dogs slip out of harnesses and this is a liability. Please have a collar/leash on hand if you regularly use harnesses. In my experience, martingale collars are the safest collars to use while walking dogs of any size and behavior. ***Please note that if you live in an apartment complex or home, that has parking pass requirements, you must provide me a temporary parking pass OR if street parking is required, there will be an additional fee charged for parking. I WILL NOT ACCEPT VERBAL INSTRUCTION TO PARK ANYWHERE WHERE MY CAR IS AT RISK TO BE TOWED!***

Mary did a great job taking care of Siren! She sent lots of pictures and daily updates, which were very appreciated! She is very neat and left the house perfect, I will definitely have her back to take care of my fur baby!
This was the first time we used Rover. We chose Mary after reading all the wonderful reviews. We then met her in person and knew she was perfect for our furbabies. She is very sweet, loving, dependable, and trusting. She treated our furbabies like her own. She sent pictures and updates after every visit. Our one cat is diabetic so she had to give him insulin shots twice a day. It was a brutually cold weekend, and she even offered to shovel the snow in our driveway! She cleaned the litterbox everyday and spent time playing with them. I highly recommend Mary.
Mary was so kind and understanding! Came to meet the pups prior and was able to accommodate everything I would need. The pups were happy to see her and she took her time with them. I appreciate her so much and will be using for the doggie needs in the future!
If I could give a 6 I would. Mary was a lifesaver and put our minds at ease while we were gone 😃 We will definitely contact her again if we need a sitter for our Ruby! We highly recommend her 😊 and Ruby gives her a big paw’s up 🐾. Thanks so much!!!
I would give 7 out of 5 stars if I could. Mary had her work cut out for her with our dog Sammy who we treat for bladder stones but has also been known to urinate in the house out of spite or protest. She earned Sammy's trust, suggested a modified liquid schedule which paid off, and thoroughly cleaned our rug which was above and beyond. My dogs love her and I would absolutely hire her again as well as recommend her to friends.
Mary was excellent with our cats! We have two cats with very different personalities and she was wonderful with both. She gave us detailed updates about how they were doing, and we knew they were in good hands!
