So going away for 2 to 3 days made me so incredibly anxious and I did so much research to find a good sitter for them. Abigail was absolutely the right choice. She is such a good communicator and adding that with the pictures she sent of the babies, it quelled my anxiety. She saw Zoe was whining and pawing at her kennel (which she does even if we’re there lol) she even offered to stay about another hour or so with her. That made me feel so great that she took that initiative to stay with her. The house was left exactly the way we left it. They were all fed, hydrated, and safe. “Aoife is an animal mom! You will not be disappointed. She has taken care of our 4 pets, two large dogs and two cats countless times for 7 years. She has done daily dog walking and also house sat for us to take care of our 4 pets while we were away on vacation. She is highly responsible and a great communicator in addition to being an animal lover. Aoife always takes notes and asks questions to make sure she is clear on our expectations around what they needed or would check in if she was unsure while we were away. She communicated in advance when she was on her way over, when the walks were completed, and to set up alternate time for walks on the off chance she ran into a conflict with the schedule. She is also very comfortable when we would provide feedback on what needed to be adjusted or done differently. No awkward moments. The dog's needs were definitely met with daily 1 hour minimum walks/play time with the pups per day per our request. She would take them to a variety of locations for a hike, a play in the park, a neighborhood walk, including playing catch with our super energetic pup, complete with photos and a general update each day. Aoife also did the occasional video when the pups or cats did something cute or when she was helping them practice a behavioral skill such as sit, laydown, or stay when we were working on crate training them for travel. She also always made sure litter boxes were kept up to snuff, the animal specific meals were done as requested, and the house was in order and often in better shape than when we left. Our pets were very happy with Aoife, and they showed it by cuddling with her and also always being very excited to see her. I would highly recommend Aoife as a trustworthy, friendly, reliable, skilled, flexible, mature person to work with. She is an excellent pet sitter.”

About: I used to work at a doggy day care, I’ve owned and cared for friends and familys animals since I was young. I have two dogs of my own that I love and care for myself as well. I am a very active and confident person when it comes to dog walking. I am currently serving part time 4 days a week and my shit starts at 9 and ends at 3. I am home a lot. I have an apartment that's on the first level. I go on daily walks about 3-4 times to ensure they are well taken care of.
