Pet Sitting & Drop Ins in Columbia-Tusculum, Cincinnati, OH

About: I have had dogs all my life. Growing up I had mostly smaller dogs, poodles and mutts, and over the years have pet sit for multiple friends and family members. Most recently I have helped my in laws watch their four collie/collie mixes with walks, exercises/games, house visits and longer stays when needed. Two year ago me and my wife got Ricky, our 45lb Chow/Pit/Spaniel who’s amazing. I drive all over the Cincy metro for work and figured this would be a great way to break up my days, be active, and meet fun dogs. Currently my own dog, Ricky, generally requires a walk a day, is fed twice a day, and we brush or wash him a couple times between grooming. I drive all over Cincinnati for work so adding daily/weekly stops into my schedule only helps keep more structure. I always try to make sure all the pets needs are met. I try and not raise my voice unless absolutely necessary, and not resort to treat dependent behavior either.

I have a cat that can stay outdoors if they don't get along. My mom's dog lives nextdoor if they don't get along. Mom's dog gets along well at dog parks.

About: Experienced especially with large, and high-energy breeds. I own and train my 3 year old working GSP on obedience, recall, and hunting. She gets multiple daily visits to large fields and socialization with other dogs. I am comfortable with any size and age of dog, I have experience with dog first aid and CPR, and can care for injuries or administer medications. If you need someone to trust with your most loved pups while you are away, I will care for them like my own. I am available for daily scheduled or last minute runs and short or long term boarding at your home. I have flexibility and open communication. I take my friendly 3 year old GSP on off leash runs and hikes daily. She is happy to play with your pups as well at your home. I keep 24/7 supervision on my dog so I know what it’s like when they are out of sight!
