About: i’ve taken care of dogs since i was little so i know a bit about how to take care of them like walk feed and play with them i know they’re so playful currently i don’t have a job so i’m available all week and i love pets so much so i thought this would be fun to do. i have a cat she’s still a baby kinda she’s 5 months old she’s really playful and a chihuahua she’s on the older side she loves to nap and is unbothered by other pets
“Madeline has done a great job of looking after my cat Dusty, I definitely recommended her if you need someone to care for your furry friends while you are away!”

“This is the third time Kassandra has watched our kitties, as always another 5-star review! Communication and dedication is unmatched. It is so nice to find someone who is so responsible, trustworthy, and goes above and beyond each time. It’s even better now that my girls remember her and are comfortable from day one. Thank you again, Kassandra!!!”

“Jamie was very prompt and on time. This was her first visit with our pups and she kept us updated during each phase of the visit. One of our dogs takes time to trust new people, but Jamie made great progress in getting her to trust. We are confident that by the next visit, she will want to be Jamie's bestie!”

About: I have been an animal lover since I was a baby. I’ve had around 10 dogs and cats throughout my life. Ozzie is my doggie right now. He’s lovely and I have been his parent for the last year. If you need someone who will not only take care of your pet but understand them I’m the ideal person for you. They’ll have fun while being safe and care for. I currently work from home. I’ll have plenty of time for your loved ones. My days off are Tuesdays and Sundays, therefore those days I’m not available for boarding. Any other day feel more than welcome to contact me! I live in 16 acres of beautiful grass, nature and plenty of space for your dog. Most of it is unfenced but I also have a fenced area. I’ll take care of your pet like it was my own baby. Either here at my home or yours! I have 10yrs+ of dogs and cats experience. I’m the best at this and you’ll have peace of mind like no other sitter can give.

“Megan was absolutely fantastic! She went above and beyond in caring for our cats and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. She was communicative, thoughtful, and clearly cared about making sure everything was perfect. It's obvious she genuinely loves animals, and they loved her right back. We came home to happy cats and a well-cared-for home, which means the world to us. I wouldn't hesitate to book Megan again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and exceptional sitter. Thank you, Megan, for everything!”

About: Hi! My name is Allison, and I'm a passionate animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I've worked at a dog boarding and daycare facility for the past four years, where I've gained extensive experience handling groups of dogs, recognizing behavior cues, and providing safe, attentive care in a fast-paced environment. I'm also an approved veterinary assistant, which has given me additional training in animal health and wellness. I'm experienced in administering both oral and topical medications and know how to monitor pets for signs of illness or discomfort. Your pet's safety, health, and happiness will always be my top priority. In addition to working with animals, I'm a full-time college student and college cheerleader, so I'm responsible, dependable, and great at managing my time. I'm looking to earn some extra income doing what I truly love—caring for pets and giving them the same love and attention they receive at home. Whether your pet needs walks, drop-in visits, daycare, or overnight care, you can count on me to provide personalized, compassionate care. I'll treat your pet like family and keep you updated with photos and messages throughout every visit so you can relax knowing they're in caring, experienced hands. I can't wait to meet you and your furry family members! While I will have a busy schedule, I will always make it a priority to make sure your pet is well taken care of while you’re away! This includes sticking to their schedule to the best of my ability, making sure they get all their energy out before bed time, or anything else they need!
About: As a dedicated pet sitter, my commitment goes beyond basic care. I bring a unique set of skills and a genuine love for animals that ensures your pets receive the highest level of attention and care. I understand that every pet has its own personality, preferences, and needs. I take the time to get to know each pet individually, tailoring my care to ensure they feel comfortable and loved. I believe in keeping pets active and entertained. Whether it’s playing fetch, going for walks, or engaging in interactive toys, I make sure your pets have fun and get the exercise they need. My schedule is flexible during the weekend During the week I’m not available in the morning but I am flexible in the afternoon or if we need to add another week day. I am well-versed in pet first aid ensuring your pet’s safety at all times. I also keep a close eye on their health, looking out for any signs of distress or illness.
“Scott took amazing care of my girl who needs extra help getting around. He was very attentive and sent detailed updates along with photos after each drop-in. My dog had a lot of fun with Scott and she seemed very comfortable and relaxed around him. Highly recommend him!”
About: I trained my Australian Shepard for 8 years and have lots of patience with dogs of all breeds🫶🏽I’ve had dogs my whole life and I’m very experienced. I am free everyday at least 2 hours a day to walk at different hours of the days( mornings, nights and days). I have lots of availability I always make sure to take my pets to the bathroom at least every 2 hours or as needed. Walking my dog is key to keeping the dog in shape and away from illnesses while also having a clean eating and playtime environment.
About: *PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING* When booking for house sitting, I am unable to do overnight stays, as I do have animals at home that I need to care for. I can do extended hours during the day but will need to go home every 6 hours or so to care for my own animals as well I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was a teenager. I would babysit my neighbors dogs and friends animals when they would go out of town. I have a cattle dog and can handle working breeds and high energy breeds. Pet care fits into my daily routine because I have two cats of my own. I have a very high maintenance siamese cat that loves attention and a specific diet, and I have a sweet 8 year old tabby. In my own home we make sure all doors and windows are locked, no food gets left out, nothing toxic to the animals is left in their reach. Anything brought into our house is researched to see if animals are allergic to it or if it is hazardous to them.

About: I will send photos of your dog to show you how they are doing. I will stay with them 24/7, go on walks with them and overall do the most to make sure your dog is well kept up! My job is online so im able to work with the pets all day every day. Which is also good becuase i love snuggles and playing with animals! I lock doors, and make sure other animals arnt around of we are on walks, overall just watching your dog and their cues to make sure they arnt getting overwhelmed
About: Have had dogs and cats my whole life. True animal lover who will take great care of your pet! I have also watched friends and family's pets while they were away. I am returning to my full-time job in August. I will still be available to walk after school into the early evening and then possibly some Saturday mornings. I will update my calendar. I loved doing this over the summer and I hope to continue on throughout the school year.. My cats are very spoiled and want a lot of attention. They love that I can be with them during the day. When I had dogs, I spent a lot of time walking them and also playing with them in the yard.
About: I love animals. I used to have three Shar Peis, which can be fairly temperamental, but I think I was their favorite walker. I've walked dogs with Wag for years and have cared for dogs ranging from tiny pups to large Anatolian Shepherds. I work from home most days, so having a dog or two in the house is not an issue. And, i don't mind sitting at other folks' homes, if the dogs are more comfortable in their own environment. I've recently fenced our backyard with a 6 foot privacy fence, so that visiting dogs will be secure during off-leash play. I live in a quiet neighborhood and there is a large park down the street, so walks can be quite lengthy, if the dog is up for it. I have a few chickens in a coop / run in the backyard. The app asks about my pets but then when I said ‘yes’ only allowed me to pick either ‘dog’ or ‘cat’ - and I couldn’t list birds so I couldn’t update it. 😕. Apparently Rover thinks there are only two kinds of animals??? Visits to the backyard are always supervised to keep everyone safe.
About: With years of hands-on experience in fostering all types of animals, I have an understanding of pets' unique needs, from playful puppies to senior pets who require extra care. Whether caring for reactive pets or those with health concerns, I approach each animal with patience and compassion. I also have experience in managing health-related issues, from administering medication to providing gentle care for pets with special medical requirements. No matter what, I’m dedicated to offering a safe, loving environment for your pet to thrive in while you're away. I am currently working full time so I value flexibility, while also being willing to do my best to accommodate for unique schedule needs. I understand life can be unpredictable and do my best to accommodate short term and long care needs. I prioritize the well-being and safety of your pets above all else. Whether I’m visiting for a walk, playtime, or simply providing companionship, I ensure that each pet is treated with care and attention. I take extra precautions to keep your pet safe in any environment—whether that’s being extra aware of surroundings for reactive pets, being mindful of any allergies or health concerns, or providing a safe, calm space for rest. I am committed to following any specific instructions you provide, maintaining routine, and keeping your pets comfortable and secure while you're away. Your pet's safety and happiness are always my top priority.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
