“We rarely leave our dog with any sitter so I was a bit nervous leaving him overnight for a recent out of town wedding. Chelsea could not have been kinder or more pleasant when I contacted her through Rover. We needed her to pick him up early on a holiday weekend and she was so pleasant and flexible in accommodating us. When we picked Toby up when we returned, he was happy and calm and seemed like he had a great stay. We would definitely use Chelsea again and would recommend her to others.”

“Andrea and Bob are so great! This was our 2nd time using them for our trip to the Cape. This year in addition to our dog they watched last year, they also had our ‘new to us’ rescue pup who came with his own set of challenges. :-) Andrea and Bob were so patient and thoughtful in making sure he was comfortable and happy. From the moment you meet them you can tell they do indeed love all the dogs! I highly recommend them!”

“Madaket was fantastic, we arrived at the property and my dog Olympia started sprinting around with her dog Millie. The property was also very large, which gave Olympia plenty of room to enjoy herself. Madaket sent several pictures and videos throughout the day. There is nothing better than feeling confident that your dog doesn’t miss you because you know they are having such a good time ?! I’d be happy to leave Olympia there any time! Plus she gave Olympia a little blue bandana ?”

“We recently hired Michele to watch our labradoodle, Guinness. Michele was amazing. Her communication was excellent, and she took exceptional care of my dog. I highly recommend her services! Thank you again, Michele!”

“Karen was terrific in helping with logistics for leaving Scout in her care and for going the extra effort to drop Scout back home. She kept in touch with me everyday with a picture and message and expressed her happiness with Scout. Scout was VERY happy when I walked in the house last evening— she was sooo excited to see me. Today she is calm and relaxed. I interpret her behavior as having had a positive experience with Karen and the other dogs she Karen was caring for. Very satisfied. Kathy”

“Total rock star sitter - could not recommend Kari any more highly! This was only Sadie‘s second time boarding in someone else’s home without me…I learned from my first experience that Sadie does not do great with other pets in the house… and, even though Kari’s was pet free, I was still trepidatious about trying another boarding situation in a strange (to my pup) home. My fears were immediately alleviated upon meeting and seeing Kari interact with Sadie and how she let Sadie explore around her wonderful home. Physical relief was all I felt when I left Sadie with her. Kari kept me informed each day with reports and pictures of what she and Sadie were doing, and I was never worried that Sadie was anxious or anything but completely comfortable. Seriously will make sure that Kari is available anytime I plan anything where I need to leave Sadie with someone for any reason! I think my girl had a great time and definitely was very well cared for. Cannot thank Kari and her family enough! ❤️❤️❤️”

“Caitlin is fantastic! This was the first time we left our dog since we adopted her in April. Caitlin called me shortly after we dropped her off to let us know that our dog was settling in well. She sent texts, photos and videos all weekend to keep us updated on how our dog was doing. Caitlin is just terrific and I would highly recommend her!”

“I had to leave my very attached golden doodle overnight for the first time over the weekend when my sister was getting married. Julie offered to do a meet and greet a week ahead of time and immediately put my mind at ease! She is very welcoming ..even comfortable with my dog’s weird quirks (like trying to eat socks eek). It was great that she had a few dogs at once so they could play all day together as well. My dog had a great time and I didn’t have to worry at all while I was with my sister during such an important weekend. I highly recommend Julie. Especially if your dog needs friends to play with and a watchful person to make sure they don’t get into any trouble. :) Thank you so much Julie!”

“I am grateful to Marcia for taking such good care of my dog. Marcia has extensive experience with dogs and knows a lot about them. My dog was reluctant to leave her when I was picking it up. I am very happy with everything and would contact Marcia first if I need someone to look after my dog in the future.”

“Caitlin and her family were sure to make Aila feel right at home during her 5 night stay. Every picture update Aila looked comfortable, happy, and having so much fun. Caitlin was flexible with drop off and pick up times and provided timely responses/updates on Aila throughout her stay. I highly recommend her as a sitter!”

“Karen is a kind, caring person and I am so grateful we found her. She eased my worries leaving my new dog for the first time. Then when my travel plans went awry, she once again eased my concerns and went above and beyond the help care for our dog. Our dog was in great hands, and being well cared for while we were away. Thank you again! You are awesome!”

“Alyne was super responsive when it comes to booking as well as honest and responsible when taking care of our bulldog. I definitely recommend Alyne to others owners.”
“Jenny took care of Ace within last minute need. She was amazing. Ace liked her from the moment he met her. She kept me in the loop about how Ace is doing and send pictures Proffesional and kind. Thanks Jenny See you in the summer.”

“Maria took wonderful care of Nori. She met for a meet and greet in advance and took the time to learn about his needs and answer all our questions. During his stay, she sent great updates with lots of photos of Nori enjoying himself. He came home a happy pup. We would absolutely board Nori with Maria again.”

“Could not have asked for a better boarding experience, dropping off/picking up and keeping in touch while I was away. Harriet’s farm is idyllic, and I’m confident my pup was well taken care of and had a great time while there. Thank you, Harriet!”

“Marc did a great job watching my quirky beagle! Waldo had a great time at Marc's home. His fenced in yard is perfect for dogs. He's very attentive and caring. He provided me with pictures of Waldo during his stay. I've already booked him again for two more stays.”

“Emily and Caroline are kind and reliable. They took care of our dog, Lily, as if she was their own. They were flexible with pickup and drop off times and we felt at ease knowing that Lily had someone in the house with her during the day since Emily works from home. Lily also had a great time with their dog, Goose, and she came back to us happy and all tired out from playing with him. We will definitely book with them again in the future!”

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
